Just wanted to start my comment by saying i am so sorry for your loss. I lost my father over 5 years ago and still find myself commemorating him throughout my art. This Zoo has a special place for me because of all the touches you added influenced by his touch on you. I really appreciated all of those things and thought that was such a creative way to add flavor to your Zoo. Your attention to realism and detail is really refreshing and your ability to level your Zoo so seamlessly! Really lovely!

The end result is an impressive sight! I could relate to you dedicating some of it to your father too. A couple months ago a close friend of mine passed away, and my way of mourning/remembering him was a memorial zoo that I have been working on, which I hope to upload once its complete. It brought me some comfort doing a project like that, so its cool to see someone else do similar. Looking forward to seeing your next project come together!
I have seen a ton of zoo walk throughs, and they are great, but this zoo seems to shine like no other has before! The detail you put into the education & signs really sets you apart from other zoos, in my opinion. Everyone has great parks, but this one is just special. I've spent the day after watching this video with a friction burn on my chin from where I have been dragging it around today because it has been on the floor! Amazing build! I may have been late to the party but boy am I glad I made it!
It's so wonderful to see the finished product and being able to watch it from the very beginning all the way to the final tour I have to say this is probably one of my favorite zoos someone else is made. I cant wait to see what happens next. also have a happy holidays 😁
What an awesome accomplishment! Congratulations on finishing this project. The sanctuary looks amazing, I’ve certainly learned a lot along the way. The principles of design that I have always appreciated from the construction of EPCOT center is “Entertain, Educate and Inspire”. If you can do all in equal measure your work will stand the test of time. For me this series has done a good job balancing these concepts. I’m sorry to hear about you losing your father recently but how heartwarming that you were able to find sanctuary building a sanctuary, and what a great way to remember good times and the things you’ve learned as you create a work of art as a tribute to someone special in your life. Very happy that you shared this journey and I’m looking forward to seeing where you take us next!

Hey Sparrow, I thought of something useful that I would’ve appreciated as I binged True North Sanctuary. Your end card is defaulted to show your newest video, but if you can find a few minutes, it would’ve been super useful to set your end cards to show the next ep in the series. I mostly watch on my TV so the end card recommendation is all I see, so I needed to keep backing out and finding the next video manually. Kind of a pain to go back and change, but might help keep viewers from video to video. Hope that helps!
@@sparrow838_ Totally! Playlists are great but when I go back to resume a video from my history, it opens up the singular video not the playlist it’s a part of. TH-cam can be wonky like that and it’s not always intuitive to try to continue a playlist. Working on the Sandstone series as we speak!
This zoo is part of a larger project where I build a habitat for each animal, so here we focused on North American animals - tundra and taiga more so. The other animals have been sorted into the rosters of the other zoos - Central / South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania. I try to draw out the zoo layout before I start building in PZ, and sometimes I'll do close up drawings of sections or even single enclosures. I don't have a video on any of this, but I highly recommend checking out the Planning a Zoo series by KatePlayz!
