I put out my debut EP last week - Yesterday the lead track seemed to have ended up on Release Radar and jumped about 700 streams in a day so has just broken 1k. A friend of mine who is already an established artist reminded me: don't forget to celebrate the little wins along the way. When you look back you'll be even more appreciative of the journey. I hit 1.2K streams and 106 monthly listeners, after two weeks, yesterday. I was screaming like little child. These were my two first goals. I am blessed to have reached them already!
I know I wouldn’t have made it if it wasn’t for good marketing as well and such good people around me. I will definitely keep on going and trying to excel my craft.
I gotta admit I am a little anxious if I can be consistent in the level of my art! But I have to try there is no other option !
Remember, not every song can be good. The bad songs are only pencil sharpeners. Continue to push yourself with this in mind and I’m sure you’ll be able to keep that consistent level with your art.

It's difficult to stay up about my goals knowing what those around me do to market etc. I believe in my voice, so I'm going to keep things organically. Preparing to release a new original in a few months. If I can gain a few fans/listeners to follow on this journey that's a success to me.

One of the things I have started doing is to curate a few playlists. There's not a whole lot of activity, but there is more than there used to be, which is good. It has also helped in increasing my presence in social media and more importantly, it got me more followers on Spotify.
