Not even their own official product: Microsoft sidewinder force feedback 2 is supported. I’m mean it works with just a center spring but not like the old days where the ffb actually worked and you could feel the ground and when you’d near a stall.
@@Patrickhit87 You’ve clearly never flown a light aircraft, or aren’t smart enough to take it all in. The yoke provides constant feedback of the aerodynamic forces on the plane. For example a Cessna 172 yoke becomes mushy and loose just before a stall. The yoke is harder to move the faster you go. Control surface resistance, turbulence and wind drafts, trim changes (absolutely done by feel!!!!), ground effect and landing cues, crosswind and slip etc. As you’re an angry little man short descriptions of each are below. Not tell me ffb doesn’t occur on a plane and wouldn’t be realistic. What’s not realistic is NOT having ffb on a yoke. positive effects that an FFB yoke could simulate: • Control Surface Resistance: Simulates the increased resistance on the yoke as airspeed increases, reflecting the real-world aerodynamic pressure on control surfaces, creating a more authentic feel for different flight phases. • Trim Changes: Provides feedback when adjusting the trim, allowing pilots to feel the reduction or increase in yoke pressure as the aircraft stabilizes at a new attitude, making fine-tuning easier and more intuitive. • Stall Warning Sensations: Simulates the subtle vibrations and loss of resistance as the aircraft approaches a stall, giving clear tactile cues to the pilot to take corrective action, just like in real aircraft. • Turbulence and Wind Gusts: Replicates the unpredictable movements and forces on the controls caused by turbulence and wind gusts, adding a dynamic element to flight and enhancing situational awareness. • Ground Effect and Landing Cues: Provides gentle, increasing resistance as the aircraft nears the runway, simulating the ground effect and helping pilots execute smoother landings with more precision. • Control Surface Flutter: Recreates vibrations and instability at higher speeds or during rough maneuvers, mimicking control surface flutter and warning pilots of potentially dangerous conditions. • Aerodynamic Balance and Harmony: Allows the pilot to feel the harmonious interaction between the ailerons, elevators, and rudder, making coordinated flight smoother and more intuitive. • Yaw and Roll Dynamics: Simulates feedback from rudder inputs and turns, giving a clear sense of the aircraft’s yaw and roll behavior, which is essential for accurate handling. • Crosswind and Slip Sensations: Replicates the subtle forces on the yoke when the aircraft is affected by crosswinds or in a sideslip, helping the pilot anticipate and react accurately. • Flap Deployment Impact: Provides realistic resistance changes when deploying or retracting flaps, letting pilots feel the aerodynamic impact and adjust their controls accordingly.

Gamer/Tourist here :-) And I just learned about the new turbulence system, to which I‘d like to comment: Please make the sim give feedback on _why_ I just crashed. Maybe I really hit the turbulences of some big airliner - or maybe I was just too slow. I am a gamer, not a pilot. I would learn more from such feedback then from some additional tutorial I never made or I can never map to what just happened to me

Thank you for putting so much effort into our favourite hobby!
29:24 I really hope you make those charts easily printable. I like having actual paper in my hand when looking at these things.
This seems like something they will not do, they already have a lot to work on. You can always take a screenshot in-game and print it
@@cmworld1492 Yeah, sure. It's not "easily printable" anymore, though.
Absolutley brilliant !
Well done to all involved in the developement of msfs2024 and also to the presentation team !
So looking forward to trying it 😊😊
Thank you ❤
Gamer/Tourist here :-) And I just learned about the new turbulence system, to which I‘d like to comment: Please make the sim give feedback on _why_ I just crashed. Maybe I really hit the turbulences of some big airliner - or maybe I was just too slow. I am a gamer, not a pilot. I would learn more from such feedback then from some additional tutorial I never made or I can never map to what just happened to me
Also presentation and much needed info. Thanks team!
I will have my opinion as soon as I press CTRL+ Tab and enter into the VR view..😂
Then start saving for a rtx5090😂
I felt that! I bought a 4090OC paired with 7950x using Valve Index, MSFS 2020(VR) is the only thing that puts my 4090 on its knees.
I am hoping that the CPU will be able to contribute more in MSFS2024 so I can get better performance in VR, or... maybe I'll need to buy a 5090, sigh.
@@zeeqon01 yeah I currently have a 12700kf and a 3070 so with my Quest 3 it looks not really good but its playable
@@yak-machining That's a nice setup, enough to have immersive flying expeience but I reckon, like in my case too, some of the things in the cockpit are rather fuzzy.
What an amazing look set of upgrades, it looks like you're trying to please everyone here and actually doing it! Having had a go at the alpha, Nov 19th is gonna be exciting
Looking forward to this I just hope it works well in VR
This flightsim will fuel my Motivation, no doupts. It improoves on so many important levels. Thank you for all your efforts and love to the Details. AWSOME
Can’t wait:)
What an incredible amount of work that has gone into this! very excited for it
I love that "realistic flight experience" includes paying a TONN for each training, exam, rating, damage, etc.😅very realistic
I'm very impressed by the level of detail in the career mode. I really didn't expect it to be that gam-ified but I'm glad that it is as I think it will really help broaden the community.
This is my dream simulator. I can't wait to revisit some of the places I jave visited, as well as places I'd like to go. It seems like EVERY area has been improved from 2020, and this is not a final product!
Thanks guys, it all looks utterly amazing; can't wait for launch day!
1:23:46 Very interesting 787 right there haha
Wow! Unbelievable work done by a dedicated team. Thanks 🎉
Uh oh, open comments on this video, but not on the update video of the failed launch. Looks like the simulation aspect of any Boeing planes was integrated a little too deeply in the sim and you have aviated, navigated and communicated yourself in somewhat of a "fecal convective activity".
Soooo... you made all this great tech, launch day is going to rock - right?
*I have great hope for the flight dynamics*
Looking at the videos so far, most aircraft seem (again) to be way too twitchy in pitch, with only a tiny movement needed on yokes or sticks.
@@fingerhorn4 thats what i hated on msfs 2020. You can manuver the plane so easily its not right
I ra domly got excited about this game juat thinking about it being only like a month away. I searched TH-cam in hopes of finding a new trailer...
I hit the jackpot by finding this!!!
Extremely excited for the team and just wanted to voice my appreciation for all of the Flight Sim 2024 team members! (MS, Asobo, etc.)
At 29:06. This confirms to me that Navigraph is no more needed.
Not needing that subscription is so massive.
Let's hope
I hope so. I'm still rocking the original AIRAC that PMDG's 738 came with lmao. It works for the most part but there is a fair bit of missing waypoints. If they could convert over, that would be solid!
@@dashdogy I saw that and instantly said Bye Bye Navigraph LOL
I just wish that LIDO charts were available.
Great that you share insights like this, no other game in the world is doing this !
1:10:48 horse herding with helicopters.
TAKE MY MONEY!
Awesome, cant wait!
Hope it is optimized well, with newest state of the art technologies!
y'all could've also add some embraer jet like the E2
Great presentation! So much looking forward to this. Will try it all! 😄
Show palm trees in Los Angeles and other cities, have you fixed them or do they still look like stone pillars?
