Bruchim Text Study: Exodus 12 & Leviticus 12

Many Jews see circumcision as central to Judaism, but what exactly do our foundational texts say about it? In the fourth part of this exciting series, Eliyahu Ungar-Sargon and Max DuBoff have a chevruta study session on two texts from the Priestly source: Exodus 12: 43-50 and Leviticus 12:1-7. They take a deep dive into the Priestly worldview and contrast the meaning of circumcision in these texts with that found in other Biblical passages. Ultimately, as with all good study sessions, they end up with better questions than answers.
