You're absolutely correct about the feeling that you're watching a movie. You could see Ayreon like the marvel universe but in audiobook form. The live show of the "Into The Electric Castle" (and other tales) is to date the only album that has (officially) been done on stage, but The Human Equation was a passion project done by others. It proved that not only it was not as impossible as Arjen thought, it got the ball rolling. The dream is a full fledged movie, so spread the word. It's nice to see more and more Ayreonauts everywhere. Welcome, stick the electrodes on your temples and focus on the voice in your head :) There are so many places to go, I'm excited
The producer of Ayreon concerts is the guy playing the keys - Joost van den Broek - Joost is kind of NL mister Metal. He used to play with Floor (and Mark Jansen, now Epica) in After Forever. He often collaborates with Floor, and he is also the producer of the last 3 Eprca albums. Floor's sister - Irene is the singer to the left (when facing the screen) of the choir trio.

It's a youtube hack for views to act like a 12 year old girl when Floor comes out. Nightwish fans have ruined the music reaction scene. I love old Nightwish, love Floor and love After Forever etc but it is 99% fake these days
I think it is more of a last straw snapping. It starts vocally with Mike Mills. Who does an unbelievable job. Then we have the battle between Tommy and Hansi, interspersed with Irene, Lisette and Marcela. Then Maggy Luyten comes in with an unexpected raspy voice. In the mean time we have some amazing instrumental work. So we have the various stages of Wow, What?, OMG, chin on floor and 'I give up'. And then when the listener is totally confused and has no clue what just happened, Floor flies in. Floor is very recognizable. So, after all these fantastic singers that many, including @CaseRyan, don't recognize yet, there is some relief in seeing a familiar face, but at the same time it is the face of someone who is considered the best vocalist alive by many. Therefore at the same time relief and anticipation. In short, yes people overreact to Floor, but a large reason is what happened before she appears and it is much less fake then you might assume.
Also it’s hard for some to believe that there are a few of us that didnt grow up on any of these artists so it’s always super cool to finally recognize someone in the song. 😊
