as someone older(39) who's just started reading manga, this is the first long series I've gotten into. I'm only on v5 of the VizBigs. I really like the folktale feel of many of the stories and just enjoy spending imaginative time with these characters in their world. Your review has got me excited to keep reading(I read manga slowly).
Hey, just wanted to say thank you for making this video and talking about the manga. I became a fan during the early 2000's when adult swim was airing reruns of the anime, and its become my favorite series of all time, next to dragon ball z. It's had a huge impact on my life and influenced me in countless ways. But as I'm sure you can imagine, its very had to get people into Inuyasha, because it's often dismissed as "that one anime on adult swim where the two lead characters are always screaming each other's name." There is so much to appreciate about Inuyasha, and Rumiko Takahashi is such a brilliant mangaka with multiple great series under her belt! People seriously dont know what they're missing out on. With Urusei Yatsura and now Ranma getting anime remakes, I wonder if we'll get a remake of Inuyasha that sticks more closely to the manga, someday.
Inuyasha was that show when I was 15 ABSOLUTELY LOVE INUYASHA!! I remember when I was buying manga back then for the first time I used to see these VizBigs everywhere
I think the fact that it took a few years to have an end, it let down a lot of people but now it's complete I think it's a masterpiece and has the popularity it deserves.
My one complaint with the vizbig versions of inuyasha is that it doesn't have color pages like the other vizbig titles that were coming out around the same time.
I love inuyasha, was the first anime I ever watch as pre teen, it helped me through hard times, I love anime ans manga, never owned a Inuyasha Manga, as where I live I couldn't purchase it, now nearly 32 years old, I'm starting to buy the manga 😍 I do own the series in DVD
I loved your review!🤩 I watched the anime a few years ago and now I started collecting this edition of manga, it took me forever to learn English in order to read this collection haha😅 pity its only in English but fair enough 😉. I think I heard somewhere that the order of this edition matches the anime but it's not the original order... is that true? Also, if that's the case, could be that there are some omissions in this version?? Thanks for this video!!
I was hesitating between this edition and a another one in Spanish, from Panini. A few days I discovered that Panini hasn't made any new prints of it, but at the same time, I found out that it just begun with a Kanzenban edition from Planeta Cómic. I just ordered 2, they have 4 so far, and will continue monthly with this collection 🙌 I wanted to say that, the fact Inuyasha feels this way against Jakotsu, It's no thing new in that era, I mean, they were homophobic. But at the same time, there were powerful warriors that belong to the LGBTQ community, as Jakotsu.
I liked your review! I had a few questions (: old video so you might not see this comment Since you mentioned Cardcaptor Sakura, I was wondering if you had any CLAMP videos planned? xxxHolic is a particular favourite of mine! As well, in the vein of Japanese folktales, have you checked out Natsume's Book of Friends? I've found it to be a particularly beautiful read. Lastly, as a fellow Canadian, you may be too young to remember this (I'm about 3ish years older) but do you remember the Sailor Moon advertisement on YTV where it was like "Nothing rhymes with Venus! Except for... well, I can't say that on TV!". That weird commercial lives in my head rent free, you can find it on YT Sailor Moon YTV promo. I absolutely recommend it 🤣
Always been a big fan, I haven't watched the sequel yet because I wanted to binge it but now that p1 is done I might pick it up soon. Are you going to do a video on p1 or just wait until it's finished?

I’m same as you
I bought the first three VizBig editions of Inuyasha recently. I'm excited to start reading them! I love the fantasy and feudal Japan style setting.

Inuyasha is one of the best animes ever, I wish it was WAY more popular.
I’ve heard controversial things about the anime/manga so that could be why..

@@galaxyamv8428 it was maybe in the 90s but nowadays nah
what do you mean?? Everyone talked about this. It was insanely popular

Inuyasha and ranma1/2 are some of the best anime ever the manga are so good for both of them
You should’ve talked about the difference between the show and the manga
