From what I understand about the story lore so far..... The warrior ( Player) was a lone survivor of the old war of the unknown .... A powerful warrior Queen was wreaking havoc and spread the curse of undying where all living being are unable to goes to death and rest in peace to the whole world with her legion of immortal undead... Death was giving his contract to make the lone warrior ( Player) a temporary immortality to defeat those immortals... After many trial and errors the warrior (player) must face the warrior Queen who turn out to be his own mother who was corrupted by her curse ...correct me if I'm wrong...
I think she (Endless) got corrupted by thalamus. Also the great mage talks about a universal threat which also refers to thalamus and i assume the eldritch council is a servant of him aswell. So I would say the whole Story is about death giving you a second Chance (or more) to stop Endless and the Power behind her which would be thalamus.
Yeah, those are so rare.Bikini armor in all those serious games like Senran Kagura and Dead Or Alive really pisses me off. Thank god this one game managed to get it right.
You can switch but its hard cuz most of your stats stay tuned to your chosen weapon. The other problem is the lack of visual weapon variety. What you start is usually what youll end with in endgame but just upgrade it.
I love this game all the way up until the ending when I realized they lock you out of an ending because the game never explains that if your will stat is too high or you die too many times you will be forced to side with thalamus. Really put a sour taste in my mouth for this game. Like what do they expect you're going to die learning the bosses but you get punished out of an ending even if you put in all the work because you died too many times?
you are fighting heroic or something??? when i fought dark knight, he killed me after i put bleeding effect on him, he died and i died too, but i didn't see some ghost came to revive him like you

Hollow knight's 2d style, Soulsborne gameplay, and some bits of SotC in there.

Your screen probably got blacked out and death picked your soul when they arrived...happens every time
the ghost dudes are around the map before you fight him, you probably killed them before going to him
