I hate Velma with a passion, i had her randomly move to my island and it took over a YEAR of skipping for her to finally leave. I wince every time i see her, same exact story for Rodney.

I appreciate the use of Twilight Princess music in this. It's like Shaperka is having her own transformation into a broken human just like link is transformed into a wolf.
The game decides what villagers you see on islands by the villager types you have on your island, it tries to give you a villager type you don’t have already. Also if you stand in front of a tree while shaking it with your net out you can catch the bees sooooo much easier :) ❤️

The reason why it might be harder for you to get Clay is because you already have a lazy villager which makes the chance lower for you to get another one. But of course it’s still possible to get him.

I straight up spent 1 month kicking and inviting villagers for Kabuki and he never showed up. Spent hundreds of NMTs for him until I gave up and just got Tom instead (cranky cat, aiming for an all-cat island). Then when I was down to replace Molly, he showed up on my 6th NMT trip of that day. I'm so so sorry, I went villager hunting for the first time today with a choice of about different 7 villagers in mind, Clay showed up around 43 tickets in, thought of you when he appeared! For anyone who is looking for Lucky, he showed up on the SECOND ticket. (I want Zucker as my lazy villager so he had to be rejected, feel so bad, wish there was a higher villager limit)... Got Genji not long after Clay, which feels amazing.

You can talk to them, so that they move in. And after some games and time they will ask to move in. Then they talk to tom nook and tom nook gives them a name of who will move out for them. If you want to keep that villager, don't say yes or no. Just go out of the game and repeat everything until he says the name of someone you want to move out.

@@bishbel7552 If you turn your game off before the convo ends by going to the home screen, you can keep resetting until it selects a villager you're ok with leaving.
