I found Clay today on my second last ticket and took this little with me. Feeling so Sorry about it but a little happy too because I was thinking of Sharperka. And I was actually hunting Reneigh but found a lot other popular villiagers on the way like two times Merengue 😐 then Colton, Diana, Fang, Roald and Wolfgang but don't want any of them so I left them. Hopefully I find Reneigh back with the campsite method.

So basically i got nook mile tickets, and on my 6th or 7th try of getting villagers *btw i didnt have the shop so they wouldnt come* I actually found clay, and because i looked his value up on nookazon, i was really excited to get a villager with the value of around a MILLION BELLS!!!!!!! To answer your question about why Annabelle has a brick pattern. She is supposed to be based on a Pangolin, which has little armour plating all over its head, back, legs, and tail! Look one up and you'll see!

You already have 4 Lazy type of villagers, its extremely hard to get another Lazy type(aka Clay that you want, unless someone kick Clay out and then you can kidnapping it).The better way to encounter Clay, keep it no more than 1 lazy villager, 0 recommend, GL! =D

Very late to this, but you could have clay on your list of villagers already set to move in. If you leave a plot open, clay might just come into it. Villagers on that list aren't able to be found on islands.
For me its the same. Other people always happen to come across my dreamies, but i never do.
