60007 Sir Nigel Greasley Light Engine Move + Saltburn Railtours 2 Class 47 Craven Arms 5th July 2024

So I decided on the spur of the moment the evening before that I was going to catch this after a disappointing try before in Tamworth and it was definitely worth it.
The 5th July 2024 started early to get to Craven Arms for 9am in plenty of time for its arrival into the goods loop for a fresh tank of water, after capturing it on the fairly new footbridge I made my way down alongside it and onto Craven Arms Station ready for it to leave the loop, captured it passing through after a freight train and a few local services passed through with it leaving a little behind its original departure time.
I then stuck around to see Saltburn Railtours/West Coast Railways 2x Class 47s hauling a trip from Saltburn to Bath Spa of which it is due to return on the 8th July 2024
