It's looking gorgeous already, Mark. It's a great colour scheme and all your patience is paying off in the preparation and restoration of the various parts and in the reassembly. I've thoroughly enjoyed watching it all come together, so thanks mate. Top notch entertainment 👍.
The bike is looking awesome! Every time I have taken something apart for any length of time I always struggle to put it back together. Your doing a great job, keep it up.
Remeber doing this with my ER5 and my brothers' China 125. The hours of dismantling, scrubbing, cleaning and polishing but a good clean finish is worth it. Sometimes think when doing a renovation that the bike or car is actually better than it was when it came out of the showroom as the vehicles are built to a budget in a factory. whereas the renovator puts a bit of their heart and soul into the vehicle, using better than OEM where they can. Mistakes are great as long as we learn from the first one!
Great work, I bought a badly painted/ surface rusty 96 virago 250 for 600 pounds last week (good job as it put others off buying it) on the back of watching this video series and wanting something to work on, I took it out on a quick run and its such a light , fun bike to ride, Its now being stripped down and has displaced my zzr1400 from the shed to under a rain cover outside. Eagerly checking daily for new videos on your channel, Thanks for the entertainment.
Hi Mark great job. A suggestion for all that black would be to add some red pin stripping to the tank and fenders highlighting the "Little Lucifer" theme.
Looks so bloody cool now..no wonder you want to ceep it..paintstrip the tank and some clear coating on it would have been awsome... Soon tje Honda gets in the cave fore some mark magic...keep on....
NIce Work Mark , bike is looking great. Why not just return the shocks to the Aussie E Bay seller , all you will lose is your postage then . Cheers Paul
It's coming along. Chinese shocks have much nicer casting and finish! Smart decision on fresh brakes - bike is worhtless if it can't stop when you need it to. I like the gold accent as well - maybe a couple more touches of it are in order. KEEP THE BIKE!
Nice one Mark, she's looking very nice, it'll be a cool little bobber when it's done, so pleased you got the new brake caliper, no doubt it would have leaked with all those pits in the cylinder, TC&RSM8.
I'm just blown away with how awesome the black looks on it. here's a thought ghost flames on the fenders or gas tank. looking forward to next week. keep up the great work.😎👍
That bike is coming out fantastic! You have done a lot of hard work and should be proud of how it has turned out. Oh yeah, you can't have too much black! Keep on Riding!
The bike looks fantastic Mark! I don't know where you find the time. Your elbow grease has really paid off big time. I never would have thought it would look so good. Keep it going!
Very smart move on the caliper there Mark, I was afraid you were going to try rebuilding the old one and there is a great chance of failure, hence a loss of all the money you put into it and then you still, have to buy a new one.. I never skimp on brakes on anything, too dangerous... Right On Man..
I like the first shocks becasue they give it a lower stance an less bling 😁 great job mark your vids are fantastic especially your latest coober peady trip.
Great job. Question re Shocks? The Aussie ones looked like they had a metal spacer inside the eyelets but the other set didn't. Should the other set have some put in to protect the rubber bushes rubbing against the mounting point?
I ride an xv250 bobber and there great fun . If you put a 17 tooth sprocket up front you can get highway speeds . I'd love to have that rear fender as the previous owner over bobbed it. Does anybody in u tube land know where I can get one besides e bay or maybe modify from another brand ! Thanks Mark for all that you have done and your tireless work.
Hey mark bikes looking fantastic just off my nightshift at work and watched this great video. Hope your backs ok . Can't wait till next weeks video keep up the good work.craig
Mate it was aways gonna be a mint bike and hard to let go but you myself and the rest of your viewers have learned how to polish a turd. This shed of a bike will be Brilliant yet with the skills you have now I'm sure Nays bike will be Awesome. Be seeing you mate
hi! I have the same bike! What an incredible build you've done here! Great work! by any chance do you know if it's possible to throw an aftermarket front wheel on the Virago? Mine is a bit wobbly from the previous owner and I can't seem to find a compatible replacement anywhere. any help would be fantastic!
Might I suggest TAN or Titanium colour wrap I stead of white. It will match the goldie/green on the new caliber better. I added the tan wrap on my pipes on my 750 two tone shadow ace and it looked awesome. White get dirty with road grime.
Hi m8 little Lucifer looking awesome hey just a quick question whats the brand of your bike jack an how much? cause im finally buying my old boys 1982 low rider harley i cant wait till i go to pick it an start modifying anyway its been a cool series to watch injoy the long weekend cheers
Hee Mark, becomes a real nice bike!!!! From a safety point of vieuw you should use nuts with nylon only once, second or more times it loses its secure function. Grtz from Rene from Holland
The little beast is looking amazing. I wonder what it would look like if you just blasted all of the rust and then shot it with a sealer/clear coat to preserve the shittyness of it. :D I kinda liked the bare, blasted wheels at least.
Hi Mark, great vids you have inspired me to give it a crack myself. I have vstar 250 and your videos are awesome and informative. Do you have a list of all the items you purchased with sizes? Keep cracking 😂
Brake calliper looks trick. .... not being funny, but it's looking way better than I thought (says the man who rides the ugly German bike) Keep on keepin' on !
I know this is late in the video because you’re nearly finished the Virago you should try out and make this tumblr what cleans Rust off parts check out this video it might be a good video for you to make as well the part tumblr shaker let me no if this is something you would like make and your views might even like watching you make the parts tumbler th-cam.com/video/DGT20ghWMZA/w-d-xo.html
Bits and Pieces = WONDERFUL! Suggestion for the new (and quite fortunate) owner: put some thread locking compound on the shock mounting bolts.
The bike is looking great. The black to chrome ratio looks good as well. Good choice on the break caliper. Can’t wait to see the bike finished.
Give yourself a pat on the back Mr.Victor … you deserve it . = )
She’s looking Badass Mark, well done 👍
Marvellous. Never thought I would feel a hankering for a blinkin' Virago 2Bloody50, but I do now !!
Keep on Fettlin' on.
Kind Regards.
Keep it! That's how you get the best offers on it after all, when people know you don't wanna sell it ;)

Mark, you are doing a great job mate. Your enthusiasm is astounding, as I'm sure I would have given up by now. You are on the home straight now.

Hi Mark great job. A suggestion for all that black would be to add some red pin stripping to the tank and fenders highlighting the "Little Lucifer" theme.
Yeah be thinking of that stuff! Thanks :-)
Rob Tuck Or a red seat.

NIce Work Mark , bike is looking great. Why not just return the shocks to the Aussie E Bay seller , all you will lose is your postage then . Cheers Paul

Thanks mate and yeah it is! :-)
Good your able to move on with it , I always get bogged down . Wish I had Matt & Nay to help when that happens . Thanks all
That's a very nice project Mark. Don't worry about too much black pieces, that's yours decision and virago gonna be awesome. I can't wait for the end.

Great episode Mark and LL is looking really good.

The bike looks fantastic Mark! I don't know where you find the time. Your elbow grease has really paid off big time. I never would have thought it would look so good. Keep it going!
I'm about two weeks from getting my virago, your videos are fantastic, I'm following closely haha.
Good Onya mate and thanks! :-)
Bloody brilliant Mark........well done!
Very smart move on the caliper there Mark, I was afraid you were going to try rebuilding the old one and there is a great chance of failure, hence a loss of all the money you put into it and then you still, have to buy a new one.. I never skimp on brakes on anything, too dangerous... Right On Man..
That is some pay dirt right there. It’s looking so good. Well done so far
Thanks heaps mate! :-)
I like the first shocks becasue they give it a lower stance an less bling 😁 great job mark your vids are fantastic especially your latest coober peady trip.
Thanks mate and yeah we all see things differently... good Onya mate! :-)
Looks are personal, like the shocks with and without the caps... myself like the original lights over the tiny LEDs.
Yeah that’s exactly right mate... it’s what makes the world a great place! :-)
Fantastic job as always! have a good Easter.
Thanks mate and you too! :-)
Killing it man, besy looking virago ive seen!!!

Thanks heaps mate and yeah you’re right... never to much black :-)
You cant start a bike build with out a cup of tea. Really enjoyed both of your builds guys.
Amazing job on the bike, looks 👍
Great job. Question re Shocks? The Aussie ones looked like they had a metal spacer inside the eyelets but the other set didn't. Should the other set have some put in to protect the rubber bushes rubbing against the mounting point?
No... even the original ones didn’t have the metal insert!
Those shocks were a loose fit over that stud. I’d think it’s worth checking if the sleeve would take up that gap.
hole in bolts
use key ring with skull ? 12:00
Took me a bit to work out what you were on about... got it! Nice one :-)
Good Onya mate and yeah I’ve been told about the sprocket change thanks :-) don’t know about the rear guard but someone might know?

Bro, where do you buy the handlebar?
Hi Mark, great vids you have inspired me to give it a crack myself. I have vstar 250 and your videos are awesome and informative. Do you have a list of all the items you purchased with sizes? Keep cracking 😂
Can you tell me what the link's or models / reference of the rear shock? Thank you
Brake calliper looks trick. .... not being funny, but it's looking way better than I thought (says the man who rides the ugly German bike) Keep on keepin' on !
Whats the size of tires and wheels?
how much did it cost to build
17:02 stuff cannot be too black ;)
wilson! what the hell are you doing in australia?!
On the handle bars the nylon nuts should only be used once and replaced for anything that is critical .
What are the tyres?
Can’t remember now but I show it in one of the earlier videos!
I know this is late in the video because you’re nearly finished the Virago you should try out and make this tumblr what cleans Rust off parts check out this video it might be a good video for you to make as well the part tumblr shaker let me no if this is something you would like make and your views might even like watching you make the parts tumbler
th-cam.com/video/DGT20ghWMZA/w-d-xo.html
LOL I think the sand blaster and wire brush is quicker and easier! Was that video a joke?
Biker Bits it no joke if you look it up on TH-cam there more video on this
Should have a cotter pin instead of wire in those riser bolt holes. Oh well, this comment is too little, too late.
