I have a BMW 520iA 2000 M52. I have heard that I MUST use the LL-04 on this one. What's so special about LL-04 and that I can not just use another fully synthetic oil. Someone who can clarify this for me.

if my engine oil is good but is low do i just add oil?
I need your help with this one. I have a 2014 Yukon XL 5.3 with a misfire on the 7th cylinder. I replaced all the spark plugs and the spark plug wire and only the 7th cylinder coil. After doing this the vehicle still idles real rough and I can drive the vehicle for a day and it will start misfiring again on the 7th cylinder. I removed the 7th cylinder spark plug and noticed there was oil on the spark plug. So then I went old school and put a nonfouler on and another spark plug and after a while of driving I would get another misfire on the 7th cylinder. Will you tell me what you think is wrong with the 7th cylinder and where you think the oil is coming from and what I can do to fix it?

You've probably fixed it by now but I'd change the valve cover gasket as that's usually the case for oil entering the spark plugs. I'd also check compression and swap fuel injector with another cylinder to see if the results change.
Alan key to open drain plug what size ? Is there another way to open drain plug usimg lug nuts?
99.9% of so-called BMW experts fail to say how many liters of oil each model and version has (including the filter). ignorance ? Lack of criteria to report such basic data? (Some versions do not include this data in their manuals).

Yes that’s what you do. Doesn’t matter if the oil is old or not. I mean they’re oil was pretty damn bad tho.

Plastic Oil Drain Plug with Allen Wrench???!!!!......Holy Crap Batman!.... That BMW will be in the Crusher before it hits 10 yrs old, because it will cost more than the car is worth to replace all the Plastic and Electronic Parts that are Broken -with the labor & price of the parts to repair it. It has become a "Throw away Car!" .....Oh, I am sorry ........"Recyclable" Vehicle. It is all BS.......If you look at all the resources (Coal, etc. to melt all the metals and the pollution that goes in environment) that go into the car, we are not saving the environment by making a car with a 10 year life span. It is all Planned Obsolescence to sell you another vehicle so Auto Manufacture can make more $$$$.

@@therealjackieheezy It is not just the drain plug. Every Year it is more plastic and now that they are all pretty much turbos more stress and heat the leads to failing parts. I will keep my e30.. BMRSehen.
