This quarter's book topic is “The Book of Mark” and this week's Sabbath School lesson is titled “Controversies”. Join us every week for a fresh and relevant study of the word of God.

"And He said to them, 'The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath'" (Mark 2:27, 28, NKJV).

I think there is one controversy that seems to create or resul tinto controversial thoughts or views. Am referring to having medical mission conducted on the Sabbath day. Some say & think tbat such should not be done on the Sabbath & doing so is unlawful. What are your thoughts on this matter?
