I have a very broad history of Adventism. Grandpa was a pastor, youth director, and even founded a new SDA church after retiring. Grandma was the best Bible worker I ever knew, better than any pastor I've ever listened to. My parents were founding staff at Weimar Institute. I worked four summers at Leoni Meadows. I went to Adventist schools grades 1 through a college degree in education. I taught in SDA school for 3 years. There was so much corruption in the conferences and pastors I quit having anything to do with Adventist schools. I spent years as a Pathfinder staff. I married a "Adventist" woman only to have her cheating with multiple others at the same time. I went to the pastor, explaining the church must take action, as she was the church wedding coordinator as well as being on the platform almost weekly playing music. The "pastor" said he would do nothing because, "we need her talent." This pastor eventually left, but two more pastors over the years said the exact same thing. And... the same thing happened with her second husband. Needles to say, I wrote the church board and did not ask to be dropped, I informed them I was revoking my membership. All that said, I still believe the SDA message and doctrines are the closest to the truth. I am an online watcher as I cannot in good conscience be a part of the local SDA church. The statement of being the lukewarm church is indeed a serious understatement. I believe Satan has been allowed to take over most members of the church. I also believe the majority of SDA pastors have also allowed Satan to take over from the pulpit. I do believe, however, that God will, in spite of this, by means we cannot understand come up with a remnant people before He comes. I, however have lost faith in that number being very large, especially in the US. There has never before been a time in history that every true disciple must study, pray and never cease to seek first the Kingdom of God. Those who do not will, be eternally lost, no matter how much "Christian" knowledge they have.
I’m so sorry for what you have gone through..But I am thankful that you have not turned your back on God…Man, in his fallen position cannot rightly represent God without total submission to his will…Thus the reason for my sermon taking about spiritual arrogance…How dare we call ourselves the remnant church when we in no way resemble God’s early church….I agree there is much politics and have come to believe that the same is happening in every non SDA church as well….The Christian church has become so diluted that only God in His mercy can save any of us…Keep the faith my friend..The Lord has a plan for your life much bigger than you ever dreamed…it is not by accident that you are here in the closing moments of earths history and still cling to your faith in Him! Remember, you have read the back of the book and the back of the book of Revelation assures us that in the end, We who follow Christ…Win the race between Christ and Satan, good and evil and will spend eternity with Jesus our Lord and Savior!
I believe we need to NOT be of either party, but to be on God’s side on individual topics. If I am on one side or the other, it doesn’t mean I am right or wrong, it simply means I am weighing who is showing Jesus’ love to others.
I thank God that we have preachers like Mr. Shelton who is not afraid to speak the unvarnished Truth of God's Holy Word. If every SDA preacher was doing the same, I believe that Christ's second coming would be sooner than we think. Let us all remain faithful to God's Law and to not bow down to the Papacy and the commandments of man. Keep the faith and let us prepare and getting ready to go home with Jesus at last! Amen

He is right. Im not yet baptize into the seventh day Adventist Church, im still studying the doctrine but the thing is im doing it alone, Just me and the holy Spirit. Thank God the book the great controversy is free on the Internet for everyone to download. I tell you the truth the church is sleeping. That pastor is right.
I heard nothing said about the right wing hatred, lawlessness, bullying, corruption, lies, divisiveness, etc. Let’s steer away from politics brothers and sisters. Both parties are two sides of the same coin.
The general conference needs to hear this message and play it in every single Adventist Church and campuses around the world. I pray that they do. We need to put this message on REPEAT!
Am not an Adventist but a firm believer (not a perfect one though) of the saving power of the Lord Jesus Christ to those who accept Him, TURN AWAY from their SINS and FOLLOW Him. Danny Shelton is a challenging preacher. We are all Law-breakers if we break JUST ONE of the laws. But we can choose to step away from our past and do as he wills. Great preaching

Glad you watched the sermon…I don’t really consider myself a preacher but it seems like so few preachers want to get up in the pulpit and tell the truth…Many are too concerned about pleasing their flock….Matt: 28:18-20 Jesus says that our job as Christians is to “Go” into all the world making disciples….The devil will try to discourage us but our own personal testimony of what God has done for us sends the Devil on the run😀
First, congratulations to Danny Shelton for being bold and giving what was likely an unpopular message. It needed to be said and I wish there there more pastors and teachers from every denomination and "movement" out there who who would follow his example. I'm not an SDA and didn't initially know that this man is and is preaching to an SDA church, yet I agree with what he said. Whether we are SDA, or Evangelical, Catholic, Presbyterian etc., not all who profess to know and love our Heavenly Father and His Son/Our savior are going to enter the eternal kingdom. Need biblical proof: Look into the parable of the 10 virgins. The bible tells us that the early Church was of one one heart and one mind and that's how the End Times remnant church will also be. Sadly, we're not there yet. At a MINIMUM we are divided by denomination. The early church were called followers of 'The Way', and in the end, I have a feeling that's that's how we will be known again. Not SDA, not Pentecostal, not Episcopal or [enter your denomination name here]. We will be ONE. Will we eventually get there? Yes. But it's likely we will have to walk though some hardcore trials first (and yes, most of us have already experienced trials, but nothing like what's coming). Hang on tight to your faith my dear mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, and remember to be kind not only to each other but to non-believers as well. You never know how God will use you to help them (or how He will use them to help YOU).

When the church went so far into apostasy, I took the advice of Rev. 18:4...come out of her My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins. And that ye recieve of her plagues. When I counseled with The evangelist Shawn Boonstra at Wisconsin campmeeting a few years ago, he told me I had to come back because i can't be saved unless I am a SDA! Confirmed to me I had made the right choice, the SDA church church is so compromised!!
Painful but powerful message that is very timely and necessary to wake everyone up and remind " the remnent" who is being served. Not ourselves. We were served by the highest. I have listened many a times Danny shelton and in my little knowledge am well convinced that he is among the few men we have who call sin by its really name. I am kenyan but the spirit of christ is steadily and gradually dwindling among the church leaders and the wh church congregation. We are all biased. We cannot escape the politics of our time. And we cannot hope for real answers to our problems from politicians. The best of our governments are as corrupt as they can be. But there are bad, worse, and worst among them. And right now I’d prefer to choose the ‘cleanest dirty shirt’. I can’t open my eyes and vote for someone who is openly planning retribution for all those who oppose him on matters of honesty and truth.
Please remember a person is easily swayed if he/she only listens to media who only supports one side or the other…for instance, your statement about Donald Trump openly planning retribution comes from liberal media..if you listen to conservative they will give you a totally different version on that very statement you are referring to…Yvonne and I watch both sides of media. It helps us get a better understanding…particularly that neither the conservative or liberal media is giving the truth…They both have an agenda and many Christian’s find themselves falling for it….example…Let’s say that what you believe about Trump and the coming retribution is true….does that mean you would then vote for another party who openly opposes God by trampling his Ten Commandments namely abortion and same sex marriage? Do two wrongs make a right? He may or may not bring retribution but keep in mind that he did not “lock her up” referring to Hillary Clinton who destroyed over 32,000 emails to keep from getting prosecuted… He could have easily brought enough charges against her to “lock her up” but he did not….So, we don’t honestly know what he will do..but we do know what the democrats have done by brain washing our public school kids in grade school to support LGBTQ…and it is working as even grown adult church members who were totally anti same sex marriage before Barrack Obama kept his campaign promise of making it law of the land… now only a few years later support the LGBTQ agenda in total opposition to God’s laws…Preachers like CD Brooks would turn over in his grave if he could see where many in the church have fallen for the devils lies. He did a great deal of teaching about how LGBTQ lifestyle was a perverted lifestyle by people with a mental illness…if that is true…what has changed in God’s law that now makes it acceptable to those who call themselves SDA Christian’s?
I wish you visited Antigua 🇦🇬 to say this to our SDA church. Through the leading of the Spirit of God I have been lead to present these very points since 2009/ 10, and they have labeled me as a fanatic and don't allow me to participate in church. The Lord would open opertuenities where I can speak but I am not looked at, neither do they allow anyone who agrees with me, which is very few who looked at and agree with the leading of God.

My issue with the abortion subject is that the laws being put in place are not limited to just chosen abortion, many are written in a way that if a woman has a baby die in vitro, she needs medical help and she and the doctor who helps her abort the dead baby can/will be prosecuted. You can’t prosecute someone for what their body does involuntarily.
As I mention in my sermon…the government can make whatever laws they want, but we as Christians should follow the Bible. Abortion is a sin against God’s word just the same as the breaking of the 4th commandment or any other…..

As an SDA in business, I have seen companies fail and go under after decades of public service when they embraced DEI. I’ve been fired from my job because I’m a white family man, so they could hire a minority in my position. This ideology sounds good on the surface, but it’s truly divisive and destructive. As @DannyShelton-eb2cj said, “It’s a counterfeit.” Social justice and DEI are humanistic. We want justice but without relying on God’s love in our hearts. We see that Judeo-Christian values have something to offer our society, but we want to do it our way, without God. This ideology is extremely complicated and vague at the same time. Compare this ideology with “Love your neighbor as yourself” and treat people the way you want to be treated, as Jesus taught. This is so simple. And then you don’t have to worry about race, gender, politics, because God loves every human being the same, ALL His children. In the end, world leaders will fail to establish true peace and justice. They’ll all be replaced by Jesus as King of kings.

Just remember ALL the bridesmaids were sleeping ALL of them….the SAVED and the lost were SLEEPING! People forget that. But the saved bridesmaids had that relationship deep in the Spirit. Yes, SDA’s have a “mission” within the world and among ALL the Christian brethren but the later rain is poured out to mature ALL the true wheat-God’s church will ALL come out and be purged out of the world (time of trouble) and then the perfect reflection of Christ will be reviled. ALL Christians at the end together are the remnant church - “church” in the Bible is God’s people. SDA’s are not the only remnant people. The last church (“people”) in prophecy is “all” of God’s people not just the SDA’s. And yes, I am a 5th generation SDA. God bless us all to be living truly by the Spirit b/c it’s by that Spirit we are sealed. Blessings!
Amen Brother Danny! Praise the Lord for giving you this message, and thank you for being faithful in preaching straight truth unmixed with error! I used to be so deceived about these things and politics and even ran for state representative supporting some of these sins. No SDA preacher I had heard was preaching truth about these things. Praise the Lord for opening my eyes after delivering me from mystical medicine! The church needs more faithful disciples to help shepherd the church in the narrow path of Jesus!
Because we are supposed to? You should have a say in who the President should be. Remember, render unto Cesar the things that are Cesar's and to God which is God's.
"The Lord would have His people bury political questions. On these themes silence is eloquence. Christ calls upon His followers to come into unity on the pure gospel principles which are plainly revealed in the word of God. We cannot with safety vote for political parties; for we do not know whom we are voting for. We cannot with safety take part in any political schemes. We cannot labor to please men who will use their influence to repress religious liberty, and to set in operation oppressive measures to lead or compel their fellow men to keep Sunday as the Sabbath. The first day of the week is not a day to be reverenced. It is a spurious sabbath, and the members of the Lord's family cannot participate with the men who exalt this day, and violate the law of God by trampling upon His Sabbath. The people of God are not to vote to place such men in office; for when they do this, they are partakers with them of the sins which they commit while in office." Thank you Pastor Shelton for trying to teach us to bravely stand with the law of God. I also am thankful for the gospel story of the woman caught in adultery, and how Jesus protected her from the law, and scribes and Pharisees who wanted to put her to death.
People aren't too focused on race and diversity. If you're really focused there will be no need to focus on it because you will treat everyone the way you should be. I have not heard anyone talking about Sunday Law. Politics is what political people do. It's very rarely in a religious setting where I hear people talking Politics outside of discussing if we should have a political position at all. Homosexuality and Abortion are not the only potential sins church people committ. These are just the only two we try to use to define who the "true believers" are.

Satan knows this and before the loud cry of the third angel is given, he raises an excitement in these religious bodies, that those who have rejected the truth may think that God is with them. He hopes to deceive the honest and lead them to think that God is still working for the churches. But the light will shine, and all who are honest will leave the fallen churches, and take their stand with the remnant” -Early Writings: page 261.

There are 10 commandments, not 2 and from what we all have seen, both Republican and Democrat politicians are breaking most if not all of them. The bible says, “For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.” We should be focused on things that truly matter such as total commitment to God and proclaiming the Gospel. ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
Exactly I dont want to live in a country that doesnot legislate moral laws. Tell the truth Pastor Shelton. That is what God requires from you no matter who gets upset.
James 5: 27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Our denomination is not like others, we are non-political. It seems like you were trying to influence the hearers in one way. We should test the character of the person. When Israel had a bad king, the whole nation went in the wrong way, because the character of the king was faulty. God gave freedom of choice to choose, hoping the individual will choose the best, but still is the individual's choice. That's the wonder of God's great love, liberty.

But it's likely we will have to walk though some hardcore trials first (and yes, most of us have already experienced trials, but nothing like what's coming).
Hang on tight to your faith my dear mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, and remember to be kind not only to each other but to non-believers as well. You never know how God will use you to help them (or how He will use them to help YOU).

When I counseled with The evangelist Shawn Boonstra at Wisconsin campmeeting a few years ago, he told me I had to come back because i can't be saved unless I am a SDA! Confirmed to me I had made the right choice, the SDA church church is so compromised!!

We are all biased. We cannot escape the politics of our time. And we cannot hope for real answers to our problems from politicians. The best of our governments are as corrupt as they can be. But there are bad, worse, and worst among them. And right now I’d prefer to choose the ‘cleanest dirty shirt’. I can’t open my eyes and vote for someone who is openly planning retribution for all those who oppose him on matters of honesty and truth.
Please remember a person is easily swayed if he/she only listens to media who only supports one side or the other…for instance, your statement about Donald Trump openly planning retribution comes from liberal media..if you listen to conservative they will give you a totally different version on that very statement you are referring to…Yvonne and I watch both sides of media. It helps us get a better understanding…particularly that neither the conservative or liberal media is giving the truth…They both have an agenda and many Christian’s find themselves falling for it….example…Let’s say that what you believe about Trump and the coming retribution is true….does that mean you would then vote for another party who openly opposes God by trampling his Ten Commandments namely abortion and same sex marriage? Do two wrongs make a right? He may or may not bring retribution but keep in mind that he did not “lock her up” referring to Hillary Clinton who destroyed over 32,000 emails to keep from getting prosecuted… He could have easily brought enough charges against her to “lock her up” but he did not….So, we don’t honestly know what he will do..but we do know what the democrats have done by brain washing our public school kids in grade school to support LGBTQ…and it is working as even grown adult church members who were totally anti same sex marriage before Barrack Obama kept his campaign promise of making it law of the land… now only a few years later support the LGBTQ agenda in total opposition to God’s laws…Preachers like CD Brooks would turn over in his grave if he could see where many in the church have fallen for the devils lies. He did a great deal of teaching about how LGBTQ lifestyle was a perverted lifestyle by people with a mental illness…if that is true…what has changed in God’s law that now makes it acceptable to those who call themselves SDA Christian’s?

I wish you visited Antigua 🇦🇬 to say this to our SDA church. Through the leading of the Spirit of God I have been lead to present these very points since 2009/ 10, and they have labeled me as a fanatic and don't allow me to participate in church. The Lord would open opertuenities where I can speak but I am not looked at, neither do they allow anyone who agrees with me, which is very few who looked at and agree with the leading of God.

My issue with the abortion subject is that the laws being put in place are not limited to just chosen abortion, many are written in a way that if a woman has a baby die in vitro, she needs medical help and she and the doctor who helps her abort the dead baby can/will be prosecuted. You can’t prosecute someone for what their body does involuntarily.
As I mention in my sermon…the government can make whatever laws they want, but we as Christians should follow the Bible. Abortion is a sin against God’s word just the same as the breaking of the 4th commandment or any other…..

I still have the Odacity and agility to DO GOD 's will through the power of Jesus Christ . my life is hid with christ in God. Let us be united in keeping the law of God and obeying God in truth and in the spirit.
As an SDA in business, I have seen companies fail and go under after decades of public service when they embraced DEI. I’ve been fired from my job because I’m a white family man, so they could hire a minority in my position. This ideology sounds good on the surface, but it’s truly divisive and destructive. As @DannyShelton-eb2cj said, “It’s a counterfeit.”
Social justice and DEI are humanistic. We want justice but without relying on God’s love in our hearts. We see that Judeo-Christian values have something to offer our society, but we want to do it our way, without God. This ideology is extremely complicated and vague at the same time. Compare this ideology with “Love your neighbor as yourself” and treat people the way you want to be treated, as Jesus taught. This is so simple. And then you don’t have to worry about race, gender, politics, because God loves every human being the same, ALL His children.
In the end, world leaders will fail to establish true peace and justice. They’ll all be replaced by Jesus as King of kings.
Shout out to all the brothers and sisters who attended the camp meeting 2024 in person, may we keep the fire burning

Just remember ALL the bridesmaids were sleeping ALL of them….the SAVED and the lost were SLEEPING! People forget that. But the saved bridesmaids had that relationship deep in the Spirit. Yes, SDA’s have a “mission” within the world and among ALL the Christian brethren but the later rain is poured out to mature ALL the true wheat-God’s church will ALL come out and be purged out of the world (time of trouble) and then the perfect reflection of Christ will be reviled. ALL Christians at the end together are the remnant church - “church” in the Bible is God’s people. SDA’s are not the only remnant people. The last church (“people”) in prophecy is “all” of God’s people not just the SDA’s. And yes, I am a 5th generation SDA. God bless us all to be living truly by the Spirit b/c it’s by that Spirit we are sealed. Blessings!
Amen Brother Danny! Praise the Lord for giving you this message, and thank you for being faithful in preaching straight truth unmixed with error! I used to be so deceived about these things and politics and even ran for state representative supporting some of these sins. No SDA preacher I had heard was preaching truth about these things. Praise the Lord for opening my eyes after delivering me from mystical medicine! The church needs more faithful disciples to help shepherd the church in the narrow path of Jesus!
As a follower of Jesus, why are we voting?
Because we are supposed to? You should have a say in who the President should be. Remember, render unto Cesar the things that are Cesar's and to God which is God's.
Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar.
We live in This world and it is a privilege.
Because we are our brothers keeper.
"The Lord would have His people bury political questions. On these themes silence is eloquence. Christ calls upon His followers to come into unity on the pure gospel principles which are plainly revealed in the word of God. We cannot with safety vote for political parties; for we do not know whom we are voting for. We cannot with safety take part in any political schemes. We cannot labor to please men who will use their influence to repress religious liberty, and to set in operation oppressive measures to lead or compel their fellow men to keep Sunday as the Sabbath. The first day of the week is not a day to be reverenced. It is a spurious sabbath, and the members of the Lord's family cannot participate with the men who exalt this day, and violate the law of God by trampling upon His Sabbath. I’m lost and can’t find peace no matter how much I pray. I feel like I’m knocking on the door of ark.
People aren't too focused on race and diversity. If you're really focused there will be no need to focus on it because you will treat everyone the way you should be. I have not heard anyone talking about Sunday Law. Politics is what political people do. It's very rarely in a religious setting where I hear people talking Politics outside of discussing if we should have a political position at all. Homosexuality and Abortion are not the only potential sins church people committ. These are just the only two we try to use to define who the "true believers" are.

There are 10 commandments, not 2 and from what we all have seen, both Republican and Democrat politicians are breaking most if not all of them. The bible says, “For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.” We should be focused on things that truly matter such as total commitment to God and proclaiming the Gospel. ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
Exactly I dont want to live in a country that doesnot legislate moral laws. Tell the truth Pastor Shelton. That is what God requires from you no matter who gets upset.

Our denomination is not like others, we are non-political. It seems like you were trying to influence the hearers in one way. We should test the character of the person. When Israel had a bad king, the whole nation went in the wrong way, because the character of the king was faulty. God gave freedom of choice to choose, hoping the individual will choose the best, but still is the individual's choice. That's the wonder of God's great love, liberty.
