bigbrakeupgrade is great to work with. He has been doing the brackets for years. I had him cut my hubs to take the 1LE bearings as these cars are really hard on the stock size outer wheel bearing with any decent size tire. FWIW I have a console from a 2000 firebird in my 89 firebird. The issue you will run into with the camaro is the radio pod is built into the console. You will want to find a radio pod from a 88-92 firebird unless you plan on building one. There is a 3d printable 2 din radio bezel for the firebird on thingaverse.
At work we always name the trucks after the guy we bought bought them off of. We have Juan, Gary, Donald, Matt, Johnny and sometimes we have the same name, so we go with the color as the adjective. A Maui Blue '87 was my first car, still have it. I'd call it "Maui Russ" if I had two of them. Always had good luck with those trucks honoring their story.
The car is beautiful the way it is. Leave it stock looking.
I'm looking forward to the next videos 🔥
ROC Hammer is a good name for this!
Clean and Stockish looking high end components. Trackspec hood louvers. Duraflex Xtreme Wing Trunk Lid Spoiler
This build has very good potential for pure viewing enjoyment. Will be binge watching to catch up, I did an LS / 4L65E swap on mine and slowly moving forward with nicely done upgrades. Love these cars, and such a great starting point with weight / handling. Cheers!
U so humble the way u telling us,wow what a started guys
I'm doing a a built LM7 5.3L w/T56 Mag F. So many things you have to think about when adding power. It gets expensive quick.
I cant wait to see it next level, sure more nice wide body verson, lets do it,keep up dude,
I mean, we are in the age of worshiping the big booty so...Wide body is the way!
Very nice build. Keep stock body, its already perfect. Look into flush 3rd gen door handles and 18 inch wheels if road racing
U ar great guys doing nice to iroc z that i lov so much
What u doing is all sure worthed, guys who hunting this iroc z sure will look for collecting another in
Had you chosen a third gen firebird, no one would be telling you to keep it stock. They're only stock once. Build it!
Levi, If the pedal assembly doesn't work out, let me know. I may have an OE assembly stashed somewhere in my collection. I had the automatic Trans Am GTA back in the day and went to the salvage yard to collect the pedal assemblyy in case I ever converted mine to a manual. Vern S.

Definitely wife body that car, it would look badass.
I like this eye seeds the way they are. I love them the way they came. I love the stock wheels. I love the car. You can change engine transmission but the outside I love it look like the eye Roxy you should’ve bought a regular Camaro and fixed it up, it would’ve been a lot better than take eye and do that to it. That’s your business not mine. I love them stock. I’m not a racer. I just thought I’d like to cruise around town and I get one.
Make it wide, I would like to see some widebody Camaros ideas and if you come up with an idea, pls tease it out 🙃, I wanna make mine widebody 🙃
Leave it stock no widebody
Ask Greg Yoakum what he thinks about this build?? He just shipped his 68 to Cali!
Dont you dare molest that 3rd gen keep it OG
Too late
What is it with millennials and black wheels? Yuk
Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiider and lower... always
Leave in stock as possible
No widebody leave it the way it is it just doesn't work on that car 😕
