Well for one he isn't the original sovereign so he shouldn't have any inherent hatred towards Celestia. And also it's been hinted quite a bit that Furina from the past or Egeria pretty much gave him a purpose, both of which are 'underlings' of Celestia.

I’m assuming it’s the only way to stop the prophecy. I don’t even think Furina and Neuvillette can stop an entire nation from being flooded and saving everyone in the process. Then have to deal with the after effects and rebuild the nation. If Furina gives her powers back to its rightful owner then therefore Neuvillette would be the highest and most powerful in Fontaine and this means Furina may step down and be granted a vision. So yes I think Neuvillette could become the hydro archon or at least the highest power if he doesn’t want the title archon but instead hydro sovereign. Which still makes him the archon lol. But he’s just more built for it while Furina has been a child for 500 years and had someone else do her work.

If she goes through with her word then Neuvillette would gladly give her the Gnosis as a payment seeing he's related to the hydro sovereign and would hold a grudge against Celestia

The only thing that I can kind of be sure about, according to the revelations from the story, is that the gnosis contains a part of the power of the dragon sovereigns. Notice, Neuvlette said all the current dragons are not at full power. As their power was taken to form the gnosi. To my knowledge every archon up to this point except for Zhongli and venti has been described to have a predecessor. It may be possible that Zhongli and venti/dvalin are some of the dragons. It may be possible that in the spirit of freedom Dvalin and Venti used to be one, then were separated into two entities. This could also be why the statue of “venti” in monstdat says “the gate to celestia” as they must be combined to open it or something. But that’s kinda reaching far.
I really don't like the notation of Archon being weak/absolute weaker than the dragon sovereign, Even before they become Archon they still Gods they still have tremendous power that fight against other gods. Rather than the power of Archon itself come from The Sovereign, it make more sense if the Gnosis is the said power/authority. Although all of the Archons so far just yeet their Gnosis.
I don't think that anyone said that all archons are unilaterally weaker than the dragon sovereigns. Rather, Neuvilette is saying that the gnosis is formed from elemental authority having been taken from the dragon sovereigns. Nothing there says that the archons aren't capable without their gnoses. That's never stated and in some cases we have suggestions of the opposite. For example, Ei was almost never using her gnosis as she passed it to Yae Miko before popping into the Plane of Euthymia. We know that Zhongli's feats came from the archon war and he only got the gnosis after winning said war. While the gnosis grants some amount of power, it isn't clear exactly how much that is aside the fact that the geo one is used in the creation of mora. The gnosis may grant elemental authority but that doesn't necessarily equate to pure combat capacity. Neuvilette seems strong and could theoretically get his sovereign power back but as he is now, I certainly don't see him matching archon war Zhongli. They aren't operating at the same scale. If we assume that each gnosis provides a similar amount of elemental authority, this would always put Zhongli ahead since post archon war, he got the gnosis which should be a similar power boost to Neuvilette theoretically getting back his sovereign power. Neuvilette says that the seized part of the dragons' power is the basis of the archons' authorities. Well, the only thing that represents their authority is the gnosis. We also know that even after they lose their gnoses, the archons aren't exactly powerless. They just don't have the extra benefit of the gnosis. What they used to win the archon war is totally separate from their "authority" granted by Celestia.

What new narrative have I brought out aside the fact that we have information that highly suggests that the gnoses (the only symbol of the archons' authority that we know of) is formed from a piece of the authority of the dragon sovereigns (which Neuvilette directly states)? We already knew that the gnoses were awarded to the winners of the archon war. That's not really conjecture so much as something that's stated. The symbol of the archons' authority being the gnoses is also stated, not conjecture. We know that the pillars of Guyun Stone Forest are there because Zhongli threw them and it is talked about in a manner that suggests that this was over a short period of time, not something where he threw one a month. Venti and Raiden have feats on a similar scale or in some cases larger though I don't think timing is as clear which is why I didn't mention those. What, it is that I gauged Neuvilette based on what he's shown us? Do you consider pushing back the primordial water (which we know Chlorinde and Wriothsley held back long enough for the Traveler to get Neuvilette) to be a greater feat than what we know the archons can do without their gnoses? To be clear, I don't think the archons on average are stronger than the dragon sovereigns from a pure writing perspective guess. It is entirely possible that none of them in their prime match up to the dragon sovereigns. However, from the information we have right now, there's no way to conclude that. We'd be able to if Neuvilette was looking comparable to archons without their gnoses but he doesn't. Apep, on the other hand, is easily at least in that range based on how Nahida talks about him. I just decided to not use that comparison because Apep has a bunch of other weird factors such as the forbidden knowledge and the power from the fire seed.

It may be possible that in the spirit of freedom Dvalin and Venti used to be one, then were separated into two entities. This could also be why the statue of “venti” in monstdat says “the gate to celestia” as they must be combined to open it or something.

I really don't like the notation of Archon being weak/absolute weaker than the dragon sovereign, Even before they become Archon they still Gods they still have tremendous power that fight against other gods.
Rather than the power of Archon itself come from The Sovereign, it make more sense if the Gnosis is the said power/authority. Although all of the Archons so far just yeet their Gnosis.
The demon gods in genshin only exist after the dragon disappears. It is pretty obvious that the gods are weaker than the archon.
I don't think that anyone said that all archons are unilaterally weaker than the dragon sovereigns. Rather, Neuvilette is saying that the gnosis is formed from elemental authority having been taken from the dragon sovereigns. Nothing there says that the archons aren't capable without their gnoses. That's never stated and in some cases we have suggestions of the opposite. For example, Ei was almost never using her gnosis as she passed it to Yae Miko before popping into the Plane of Euthymia. We know that Zhongli's feats came from the archon war and he only got the gnosis after winning said war. While the gnosis grants some amount of power, it isn't clear exactly how much that is aside the fact that the geo one is used in the creation of mora. The gnosis may grant elemental authority but that doesn't necessarily equate to pure combat capacity. Neuvilette seems strong and could theoretically get his sovereign power back but as he is now, I certainly don't see him matching archon war Zhongli. They aren't operating at the same scale. If we assume that each gnosis provides a similar amount of elemental authority, this would always put Zhongli ahead since post archon war, he got the gnosis which should be a similar power boost to Neuvilette theoretically getting back his sovereign power.
Neuvilette says that the seized part of the dragons' power is the basis of the archons' authorities. Well, the only thing that represents their authority is the gnosis. We also know that even after they lose their gnoses, the archons aren't exactly powerless. They just don't have the extra benefit of the gnosis. What they used to win the archon war is totally separate from their "authority" granted by Celestia.

What new narrative have I brought out aside the fact that we have information that highly suggests that the gnoses (the only symbol of the archons' authority that we know of) is formed from a piece of the authority of the dragon sovereigns (which Neuvilette directly states)?
We already knew that the gnoses were awarded to the winners of the archon war. That's not really conjecture so much as something that's stated. The symbol of the archons' authority being the gnoses is also stated, not conjecture. We know that the pillars of Guyun Stone Forest are there because Zhongli threw them and it is talked about in a manner that suggests that this was over a short period of time, not something where he threw one a month. Venti and Raiden have feats on a similar scale or in some cases larger though I don't think timing is as clear which is why I didn't mention those. What, it is that I gauged Neuvilette based on what he's shown us? Do you consider pushing back the primordial water (which we know Chlorinde and Wriothsley held back long enough for the Traveler to get Neuvilette) to be a greater feat than what we know the archons can do without their gnoses? To be clear, I don't think the archons on average are stronger than the dragon sovereigns from a pure writing perspective guess. It is entirely possible that none of them in their prime match up to the dragon sovereigns. However, from the information we have right now, there's no way to conclude that. We'd be able to if Neuvilette was looking comparable to archons without their gnoses but he doesn't. Apep, on the other hand, is easily at least in that range based on how Nahida talks about him. I just decided to not use that comparison because Apep has a bunch of other weird factors such as the forbidden knowledge and the power from the fire seed.

Why celestia doesn't interfere?? him being the hydro sovereign means he is really dangerous to be left alive! even if the celestial gods are stronger i doubt it would easy getting rid of a being that powerful.
