Tsula, your videos about astronomy and equipment are very informative and entertaining. Keep up the good work, and thank you for sharing your experiences with us.
Tsula, your " little channel" is down to earth and a joy to watch! Please update us if the sheriff catches those that took your gear. In the meantime... if you every visit Flagstaff, we have a spare room for you. And a home cooked meal.
Thank you so much. The sheriff caught one of the criminals and he is in jail. I have been trying for a week to go see what all the sheriff retrieved so I can take it back home and the sheriff is always in court! But I am hoping to retrieve some of my stuff soon. Thanks for asking. And you are so sweet to over me a spare room and home cooked meal. Thank you again.
Hi Tsula Congratulations!!! And well deserved. It’s less about quality and all about quantity, you really know your subject and explain it in a way that’s clear and easy to understand. I have already learnt a lot from your videos and really enjoy watching them. I wish you continuing success, we enjoy your films as much as you enjoy making them. THANKYOU ….to someone who really knows how to enjoy a dark sky! 🤗✨
AW. Linda, thank you so much. I don't know why I am just seeing this today. Sometimes I get notifications from YT and sometimes I don't. Thank you for all your kind words and support. It means the world to me.
Congratulations! I have spent an “unhealthy “ amount of time on your channel ever since I found it. You have had a great impact on your viewers. Your zest for discovery is infectious. Thank you!
Congrats 🎉 Tsula, your videos are amazing for amateur visual astronomy. I recommend your channel with my Friends in CDMX! Keep doing astronomy, all of us enjoy your videos!!
Congratulations Tsula on reaching 5k subs! I have been enjoying your very well done videos…just subscribed. Looking forward to more great astro info. All the best. Jeff in RI.
Congratulations on reaching 5K! I just subscribed, but we've been watching you on my husband's account for quite a while now. We both very much enjoy watching your adventures together. If I were the lucky one to win the eyepiece, it would go to great use. I am part of our astronomy club's outreach team, bringing astronomy to students, scouts, and the public every month in Southern California. I'd use the eyepiece for outreach events! Even if I don't win, we're all winners because we have you, sharing your love of our hobby with all of us!

Congratulations on 5000 subs Tsula, knew you could do it! You have a wonderful personality that carries across on the screen and keeps me coming back. Clear skies!
You deserve 100x more subscribers! some of your videos are like treatises, with tons of information densely packed that would otherwise take someone a long time of studying to accumulate. No wasted words, all great content! Even some dramatic acting!
Hi Tsula, congratulations on the big milestone. Thank you for your fun and positive videos. I'm always learning and smiling when I watch. And thanks for the chance to win the eyepiece. Clear skies always, Scout.
Scout: Thank you so much. Thanks for your kind words and good luck in the raffle. PS: A friend used to call me Scout from the character in the novel To Kill a Mockingbird-- one of my favorite books.
Congratulations, Tsula! I love seeing your videos, especially your astronomy stuff. Your audience is well earned so hats off to you for sticking with it!
Congratulations on 5000 Tsula! Great channel, entertaining and informative. Best of luck to your subscribers in the USA and I look forward to future videos! Thanks P.
Tsula, congratulations on your milestone! I a relative beginner and find your videos both informative and instructional. I always look forward to seeing them. Thanks for all your efforts.
Thank you! Thanks for your nice comment. It's always encouraging to hear from people like you who find the content useful and informative which is always my goal. Thank you.
Excellent work. Always fun to hear that incredulous giggle sneak out during your presentations. If it's not too painful to discuss, what's up with the observatory??
Thank you. I took it apart and sold it. I still have the foundation. So, I purchased plans for a roll off roof to put there. Obviously, I would not use the terrible incompetent company that put together(sort of) the Home Dome for me. So, it has taken me a while to find someone suitable and competent but I finally did and he said he would start next week. So, maybe after two years he will finish and I can make a follow up video.
Congratulations Tsula! Your channel has always provided information that's easy to understand. I have found many of your insights on visual astronomy to be useful. I'm always looking forward to your next episode!
Congratulations! The first video I saw was "THE NORTHERN LIGHTS in FAIRBANKS, ALASKA" 5 months ago, and I've been subscribed ever since. You make amazing, high-quality informational content. Great job on reaching 5K subscribers! I see you've already made it to 5.01K as I'm writing this comment. Thank you so much for your very nice comments. You made my day. That is very generous of you to defer to others on the raffle. I'll leave out your name and thank you again for watching and for your encouraging words.
Congrats on the milestone! Your videos are my go-to for getting a sense of what I can expect to see visually. You keep it real, which is refreshing. Keep it up! ✌️
Well, after KH suggested the Celestron 40mm and I decided to give it away then I bought myself one too. But I haven't been able to try it out yet. Maybe next week I can see how it does. Is the Burgess 38mm a 2" eyepiece? I'm not familiar with it. I have a 40mm 1.25" eyepiece that is pretty good.

Good for you Tula. I’m sure you will keep on increasing subscribers since you have great content. Being a lifetime beginner astronomer I can relate especially to the weight of the Meade 10” . That new eyepiece is sweet and would be put to good use here as soon as the summer heat abates a bit (120 deg F yesterday). 😎
Thank you. I bought a 30 pound kettleball and I lift it every day from ground to shoulder level 10x. But I still dread lifting that beast for fear I might drop it. Good luck in the raffle for the eyepiece. 120 is extreme!

You could do that with a refractor or cassegrain telescope if you don't mind things being left/right reversed, or you can by a 45deg erect prism diagonal for correct views. With a reflector everything will be upside down, and the only erecting prisms available for reflectors are of horrible quality and usually come with the cheapest telescopes that we suggest people avoid.
I bought an erect prism and it was stolen before I could even use it. It's disconcerting to look at things upside down during the day through a reflector. No matter how many times I look I am always confused about which way to move the telescope. But like KH said, if you don't mind things being upside down it can be done. My reflector is a 10" Dobsonian which is not practical to take out into the field. So, I'm limited on the geology I can look at with that telescope. Let me give it some thought and see what I can come up with. I love geology too.
