This is one of those Hasbro figures that there does not appear to be no restrictions in the overall budget. This shows what Hasbro can do when they really try.

@@AlphaOneDesignsWell mostly I meant that this figure had all original sculpt and detailed paint applications like the little brown belts and buckles on the armor. When they restrict the budget you pretty much get a frankensteined figure from pre existing parts and half assed paint jobs. As far as the articulation , a competent amount is good to mix it up a little , but really doesn't make or break this figure.
@@jboogie8159 they are prepping up for the price increase next year for stores. They know people won't pay $30 with the molds of last year. This dr doom will be definitive imo but Doom still suffers from hard plastic issues that will restrict his movement without customizing, so they still need to learn how to implement soft goods properly. It's almost as if different teams work on marvel, black series and lightning collection. They all have great ideas for designs but don't combine them all to even put imports to shame
@@Hulkitout Very true, I noticed the face paint tech was applied much better by star wars black series while marvel legends can just look like a murky mess. Also black series I think has a far more superior elbow articulation with alot range but well hidden.

The textures and detail remind me of old Toybiz Legends like the Face off Cap which would have those similar details of textures and stuff like sculpted seams and stitches to make the figure more realistic. This Doom is like that but like a modern version with good proportions

Marvelous Animations the villain could be puma but puma is traditionally a spiderman villain but other rumors where namor I know it’s a weird rumor but puma is too
No regrets upon owning this figure. Tall, chunky and thicc. Definitely top 10 Legends of the year for me. It really shows what effort Hasbro can do if they don't laze about.

For me, the previous one looks like it's wearing a tunic, while the new one looks like it's wearing a skirt. The older one is indeed an unsung hero. An excellent Doom that was forgotten completely. This new one certainly has that more ultra modern appeal to it, as the previous just isn't _quite_ the caliber of brand new Legends. Well, you pointed all this out already anyways lol.

Instead of those idiotic body parts, I’d rather have useful accessories. Dooms cool, and the Thing...The others are garbage. The Fantastic Four were always lame. Well, the Torch is cool, but not the figure...They look like fucking Ken dolls lol.
