2 things that really stand out. How good she is. She is very very good. The tone is spot on, her technique is clean and unfussy and her nuance is really on point.
The other that stands out, that you can't see when Glenn does this solo for all the hip gyrations and dry ice - is how well constructed and musical and - yes - melodic - it is.
You can see the solo for what it is, the clean thinking and precise fingering of a solo that completely compliments the tune underneath.
A fantastic demonstration of a fantastic bit of guitar work.
This is a supremely difficult song to emulate. In between the time signatures and the stamina you have to have with the execution of it it is unreal. You could build the death Star on how metal this song is

I didn't expect this young girl to do anything like this. I'm pretty sure it wasn't exactly like priests. She used the whammy differently. Best version I heard. My 10th grade teacher bought me this tape for my birthday in the 1990s.

There is only so many scales , it's also technique .
I wonder that every time I see someone do amazing covers. It's definitely not as easy as the other posters say it is. Otherwise, everyone would just be making their own amazing riffs instead of covers.

The thing that blows me away about her playing is things like the trill at 2:35, that little brrrrt just sounds so sweet and stands out.
