I liked Marilyn Manson since I first watched "The Beautiful People" on MTV back in '96. By the time "This Is The New Shit" came out, he was huge. I still listen to it regularly.

I respect y'all for avoiding "the topic" but for all his fans, there is zero evidence. Nothing has come of it legally whatsoever other than career assassination and Manson has been patiently biding his time and is now on the verge of a big comeback. Again, just to emphasize, ZERO EVIDENCE. Absolutely NONE.

John 5 actually talked about it getting pissed recently- "According to John 5 in an interview with Eddie Trunk, he was still reeling from the very recent death of his sister and doesn't even remember flipping a shit on Manson. John 5 said he learned of his sister's death on that very same tour and hadn't been sleeping basically at all.
"I was in Europe and I was coming down the stairs, off a stage after a concert, and they told me my sister died. And I was in a state of shock; you just go into a state of shock. And here's the strange thing that happened to me: I didn't sleep for days and days and days. It was the strangest thing. I just wasn't tired. And I remember going to the band members' rooms, going, 'I can't sleep. I just can't sleep. I haven't slept in now two days' or blah blah blah.
"So anyways, fast forward to the show. Now, what Manson did, that happened all the time. He didn't do anything wrong. I just snapped. It was weird. I went nuts. I didn't even remember. I just snapped. And I feel terrible watching it now because it really was my fault. You can't really hear what he's saying, obviously, but he's saying, 'Pick up your guitar.' 'Cause it looks like he's going, 'Come on. Come on.' But he's saying, 'Pick up your guitar. Pick up your guitar,' because he knew what was going on. And I feel horrible about it. But it was just a bad situation at that time… It was terrible because he was so nice during that time and all that stuff. I was in such a weird place, and it was just a bad time. I don't even remember it happening. It was just terrible."

No-one from Rammstein is / was in Manson, however Manson did play Beautiful People with Rammstein ,. You can find that on youtube. The fight between Manson and John 5 was real, John had just learned his sister had died and was upset and fucked up the guitars leading to the little “fight”. They are now friends.

He's been pretty interesting to watch, used to be friends with him on Facebook and for years he HATED Manson, wanted him dead and would go on long drunken rants about him. But after the accusations he actually changed his outlook and supported Manson, was even supposed to act as a defense witness for Manson I believe before the case got settled.

Alice Cooper in the 70's was like MM in the 90's he came way before the Industrial movement so it was more a Garage Band meets Theater and Vaudeville. He got big on that too! Can't also forget Ozzy was a metal band but was biting heads off Bats and Doves at CBS the day he got signed and was promptly banned from the building making his name in the Shock game. Alice had a Chicken incident in the late 70's which outraged the British and American groups. And they became mainstream by the 80's so... Alice and Ozzy were the best before MM came along.

Manson's highest point - 97, 98. Anti-christ was out. Mechanical Animals just coming out. Manson was so controversial he was banned from performing at Ozzfest 97 at Giants Stadium in NJ, but Manson sued to be put back on the bill. He won the court case and did play at Giants Stadium at Ozzy's festival. I was there. Their set came and went without incident. Pantera's set, however... crazy. Fans jumping out of the seats and running out on to the field to rush the stage. Cops everywhere - just tackling and clotheslining these kids. Crowd cheered the kids that outran the cops.

Imo Bryan Warner aka Marylin Manson is a genius. He decided to show america's true face by talking about government, church and shit. Also his artistic name portrays that. Marylin (from Marylin Monroe) the beauty of america and Manson (Charles Manson) the ugly side of america (or the world for that matter). Besides he thought that if people talked bad or good about him it was just publicity for him

Normally, I would find an artist in a similar genre for recommendation of a different artist but effectively no one is like my suggestion. It is time for something completely different, Monty Python. Monty Python has a respectable music lineup. For its connection to our country's current political situation, I suggest "Every Sperm is Sacred." I would definitely watch the clip from the movie "The Meaning of Life" which is where the song debuted.

well, I'mma speak on "THAT SUBJECT"
it's too bad he let his 2 noteworthy, actually stable, relationships fall apart, namely his marriage to Dita - in exchange for AMBER HEARD, JR. who has, obviously, effectively ruined his reputation (personally & professionally)
before HER 😒 (IYKYK) though he may have been seen by more conservatives-type folks (and i mean socially, NOT politically. i.e. "squares") controversial, he never was a "BAD GUY"...and then 🙄
GUYS: be careful who you belly slap with...some of these 🤬 out here will try to DESTROY you (and most likely succeed).
and i say this as a straight woman - i have no biases on this issue....she reveals herself & her tactics by her actions.
i just wish everybody (male or female) would, or could, judge things more objectively....🤷🏻‍♀️ humans will human, i guess. oh well.

I just have to say.... having only watched 5 minutes thus far..... Truth is truth. Like facts, it is not swayed by feelings. Your beliefs may be different from someone else... but THE TRUTH is not. Now on with the program 😁
