I understand that your specialities are tdi engines, but i wonder what could you do with other brands for fun, im particulary curious about 1ND-TV (the tiny diesel from Toyota) and D5244TX (the Volvo), but it could be any other one. See how diferent brands respond to remaps or etc.
Does it feel as fast as a stock 3.0 TDI? I know these have big injectors and run very high rail pressure as standard. 380hp should be achievable with the turbo upgrade.
How’d you manage to get the car into 2wd for the dyno? Mine made 304 but I do feel it power surging some times which I assume is the car pulling power due to egts
@@DarksideDevelopments thanks, it’s going back on the dyno again soon and depending on your results with the dpf downpipe might be ordering one so I’ll be watching 👍
With regards to the exhaust temperatures melting the DPF, should I be worried? mine is Revo'd! Is that only a concern if you are ragging it around? I drive like miss Daisy most of the time. My DSG started leaking oil and the Ad-Blue pipe split recently, I'm hoping they are just coincidences =\
Some tuners turn off the EGT sensors at 700c. This can be dangerous and yes we have seen some melted DPF's, normally only when pushed. We can't comment on specific tuners.
Interesting as usual, unfortunately you guys always remove dpf and then upgrade the Turbo, whould be interesting to see if the lower backpressure of the bigger turbo would drop exhaust temps as well. I know that the best result will always be without dpf, but in some countries this really isn’t an option😅
As a Bitdi passat owner, I never clicked a video so fast in my life
As a BiTdi Passat owner, you could not make me more happy than by uploading this Video. THANK YOU!
The perfect daily. Couldn’t believe that 0-60 it’s so quick for a 2.0 diesel.
You seem quite happy with this engine so I can only assume it's a different setup to the biturbo transporter 😃🤭
Yes, totally!
Tiguan 240ps here already remapped by yourselves. Still loving it but very interested in the videos to come!
That’s great to hear how is the car doing no issues with the emissions stuff ? I have just contacted them to remap my Vw bitdi as well ?
@@SILKY_999 sorry for late reply. No issues what so ever.
I just always make sure a regen finishes properly as well.
Need to get my a3 done by you guys. Always amazing
Nice Ryan vid. Please make the next one quick. I really want to know the results and enoyed this one. 👍
Looking forward to the next video. I have a Passat BiTurbo R Line edition. What about a DSG gearbox tune?
We sort that in the last video!
I'm definitely getting one of these
love watching your videos very interesting how you do what you do and my i say you are the best at what you do by a country mile .
God they’re beasts!
Do safe 350HP and I will come from Czech Republic for this upgrade 👍💪btw. DQ500 must handle much more power..

They are all tunable, some die sooner! haha
I'm interested, what sound will this have?
Have you guys had a play with the ‘new’ 200ps Diesel engine yet?
We haven't yet, still waiting to get one in
What other cars does this engine come in or is it only the passat?
Passat BiTurbo and the VW Arteon are the only two that got this engine.
And Tiguan also got it
And Kodiaq
Belle vidéo 👌 😉

Quicker than stock 3.0. not sure where you get the 380hp figure from!
@@DarksideDevelopments Its just what I estimate with the amount of fuel and air you should have available when the big turbo goes on.

Unplugged the Haldex

@@DarksideDevelopments Understood, cheers.
4wd but 2wd dyno run?
Haldex disconnected

The DPF restrictions are not worth tuning around sometimes
Omg I'm actually first for once lol.
BTW yr hair looks just dandy..not legoey at all...😂
Wish I had that much hair mind.😇
Haha
