Use RC differentiator circuit ! It works flawlessly and is much simpler only one capacitor and one resistor ( and one more pull up resistor in case you use open collector exit hall sensor or contact breaker) 1kOhm , 1 uF , 1 kOhm , connect the pull up resistor to +( 12-14) V DC .
