The fact that all runners were only 2.5 minutes within each other in a race setting, despite ALL the little bloopers, and unfortunate mishaps with bosses, is INSANE. Not to mention getting sub 43 in a race setting. This race was absurdly close, even if it didn't feel like it at the end.

What's wild is that Imyt's time from this race is still like top 100 all time, even with everything that went wrong for him on this run AND saving the animals. Just shows how dominant this crew is at this game!

There wasn't much time between oats finishing and imyt beating mother brain, it was such a good race

Imyt really caught up quite a bit during the last half of his run. Very impressive.
The fact that Zeni informed Oats they were saving the animals makes his cul de sac around the ship that much more hilarious 😂
This was definitely one of the best GDQ runs of all time, the energy from everyone is great. Incredibly skilled gameplay, great commentary, and just seeing how supportive everyone is of each other is really awesome.

I felt that it was a shame that A Real Cutie ended up having problems at Draygon. It would have been very exciting if that closeness carried on through the rest of the race.

What I'm learning is that poor IMYT had a comedy of errors.
That race was so much fun to watch. Congrats to all the racers! Didnt know anything about GDQ this year so i missed it live, but even the video posted here was awesome. Congrats to Oats, Zeni, IMYT and Zeni 😂

It took me like three hours to watch this because I kept pausing and jumping back to catch all the chat messages from hockey, cutie, imyt, zeni and eddie. Great way to spend an evening ngl, you guys clearly have such a great time hanging out together that it's infectious.
This was definitely a highlight of GDQ, I love these side by side races!

I honestly thought Imyt bonked and went left side when saving the animals on purpose at the end to give the donations a chance to meet the next incentive. It seemed everyone was overall very good and the race was all very close, all things considered~~~

@Oatsngoats Probability of getting 2 power bomb drops is 16/10000 = 0.16%. The fact that Imyt got it shows, IMHO, that the mod that is darkening and glitching his screen is also screwing up with his RNG
I’m sorry you had to experience Chicago. I moved to the southwest from there for that exact reason. It is the worst city for so many reasons. Traffic being one of them. It’s a nice place to visit. I will probably never visit again.
used to drive from detroit to chicago for Anime Central in may.
It takes like 4-5 hours to get there, and then it takes about 2 hours just to go through chicago to rosemont. It was nuts. Didn't matter the day.
So my friends and i would start taking the train there, and it would be a 5-6 hour trip, and THEN it would take like 90minutes to pull into the train station, then we have like a 30-40 min cab ride.
The outcome was never in question, but dooooooood you opponents were CLOSE.

If you want to experience worse keep in mind that LA is getting the olympics in 2028. I was caught in hours long traffic jams just because that's how traffic was last time I was out there.
I live in the Chicagoland area Oats.... everyday it's grid lock 3-6pm everywhere...
