The fact that all runners were only 2.5 minutes within each other in a race setting, despite ALL the little bloopers, and unfortunate mishaps with bosses, is INSANE. Not to mention getting sub 43 in a race setting. This race was absurdly close, even if it didn't feel like it at the end.
This was definitely one of the best GDQ runs of all time, the energy from everyone is great. Incredibly skilled gameplay, great commentary, and just seeing how supportive everyone is of each other is really awesome.
What's wild is that Imyt's time from this race is still like top 100 all time, even with everything that went wrong for him on this run AND saving the animals. Just shows how dominant this crew is at this game!
Congratulations on the win. I felt that it was a shame that A Real Cutie ended up having problems at Draygon. It would have been very exciting if that closeness carried on through the rest of the race.

It took me like three hours to watch this because I kept pausing and jumping back to catch all the chat messages from hockey, cutie, imyt, zeni and eddie. Great way to spend an evening ngl, you guys clearly have such a great time hanging out together that it's infectious.
I honestly thought Imyt bonked and went left side when saving the animals on purpose at the end to give the donations a chance to meet the next incentive. It seemed everyone was overall very good and the race was all very close, all things considered~~~
used to drive from detroit to chicago for Anime Central in may. It takes like 4-5 hours to get there, and then it takes about 2 hours just to go through chicago to rosemont. It was nuts. Didn't matter the day. So my friends and i would start taking the train there, and it would be a 5-6 hour trip, and THEN it would take like 90minutes to pull into the train station, then we have like a 30-40 min cab ride.
I’m sorry you had to experience Chicago. I moved to the southwest from there for that exact reason. It is the worst city for so many reasons. Traffic being one of them. It’s a nice place to visit. I will probably never visit again.
