  • Lowered the Accord the other day. I used H&R sport springs. It is now 1.2" lower front and rear. I'm very happy with the results. I listed the part # below for anyone who is interested in buying a set. Thanks for watching!

    Thank you for this. Loving the 360 camera work, you showed a lot of good angles, and really proved "You need a camber kit if you lower a honda" talk is nonsense.

    Bro! I love your lowered springs it makes the car a bit complete. I was never a fan of stock height hahaha.

    I was back and forth on Eibachs and H & R's but after hearing this review I'm sold on this. I wish all Honda Accords came like this out the factory str8 off the lot. Will be purchasing these once my car comes out the body auto body shop in a couple of weeks. When I bought my honda the driving is super smooth but after hearing how it handles alot better and in the corners I was highly impressed to hear this hence I have factory touring tires on these. Looking fwd to buying these. Great Video

    You’re video literally sold me on these. Just got them installed today love the look and feel immediately. I went 1.2 drop on all four corners with the sport spring.

      @@DanVilla7 I have the EX-L 2.0t so I'm actually gonna get 19 inch black rims with spacers too. Also blacked out all the chrome with white pearl paint looks mean! Borla exhaust makes it sound mean too! and stage 2 hondata makes it go mean as hell too! hahaha

      @@SlimDaFox absolutely it's a 1.2" difference. Basically closes all the wheel gap in the front and a little gap in the rear. But you have a 2014 so the drop maybe slightly different

    looks good 👍 and you did it right lowered first. now you can see exactly what kind of spacer to order to bring the wheels out. versus ordering the springs and spacers and taking what you get . thanks for the video.

    I second H&R springs; I installed them on my Audi and they are perfect. Not too low with just enough travel to not rub. For a top tier manufacture with the aesthetics to made a people pleasing ride, these springs are a very cheap modification considering.

      Nice let me know what you think when it's done. Give them about a week to fully settle. I've since did 20mm spacers looks awesome.

You know when comparing it's so hard to find all the angles without being able to see in person, your video was the closest to it. I had the exact same H&R spacers in my cart, but held off bc I am still considering different rims. OEM looks good on white, I'm not a fan of them on my grey so we'll see...I'll ovo it back up Saturday💥🙌🏾🇯🇵🇺🇸💥

    I have the same car but 2021…I will do the H&R but when the stock get damaged. 😅 I recommend you to buy the Ultra Racing front strut bar…super nice !! Improve the ride quality when you turn and match with the white.

      @@carmine.pirulli yes but I did find that you can get deep set lugs to make up for the lost threads if you wanted to go back without replacing the bolts themselves

      No problem. Absolutely do an alignment... If you don't want any negative camber you will need a camber kit for the rear. I didn't use one because its not too bad.

      Dan Villa thanks bro. Negative camber look nice somehow but this is my daily drive I just don't want the uneven wear on the tire. I'll put it in first to see how bad is negative camber come then decide with kit later.

      @@andrewhoangnguyen1579ive put around 6-7k miles on it so far and have not noticed any extra wear as of yet. As long as you have them take all the negative camber out that they possibly can , you'll be alright. I daily mine as well.

    Nice ride, I got a black one 2.0 and was wondering How much drop did it do? Meaning I know the springs are 1.2” but did you use a tape measure from ground to fender? I ask because on the eibach .8” they go 1” to 1.15”, so wondering if these 1.2” will go 1.5 or 1.75 ?

    Looks great! Did you swap out the shocks too later on? Some people were experiencing bouncy rides - is it because the stock shocks can’t handle the after market springs?

      I was tempted to but didn't have a free weekend to do it. So had my local shop take care of it for me.

    Great video. Want to get this but I am concerned about the negative camber. Is it very noticeable? I never liked that look when the wheels are at an angle, I think it looks goofy. Also, did the ride quality go down after a while when they settled? Thanks

      The negative camber is noticeable if your actually looking for it. The ride quality is really good for a lowered car.

      Thanks! If you want your alignment to be spot on yes. I did not use one and there is a little negative camber in the rear. I haven't noticed any excess tire wear as of yet over 6k miles later.

      It's been over a year and a half and everything holding up well, no issues. The bump stops did not have to be trimmed with this kit

    Hows it going bro love the channel. I just got a '21 accord I want to lower it any problems with h&r springs so far? I'm asking cuz I had problems with them on my '14 accord sport the ride and handling was good but when I turn the steering wheel it made noise and back springs rubbed with people in the back.

      Im good thanks! No issues with the springs at all. I've had H&R's on 2 other cars with the same result. Surprised to hear you had issues, possibly an installation error. For the car the rear springs get installed with the writing upside down.

      Never bother to get a kit since the drop isn't that low. You will get some additional camber wear in the rear but nothing too crazy

    I have had the same springs in my 21 Accord Sport 2.0 for about 4-5 months and I have been getting a little bit of noise from the rear. Do you happen to remember which direction you installed your rear springs? According to H&R if the top and bottom are the same then where the coils are closer goes up (which would be upside down from the text on the spring). I know Eibach states their text always goes right side up but that doesn't seem to be the case for H&R. Is the text on your rear springs right side up? Thanks in advance.

    Hey Dan, so on these h&rs have you ever bottomed out or hit bump stops in the front? Because I just recently installed and uninstalled Eibach sportlines because of this. The rear is fine but the fronts were bottoming out way to easily.

      I have, like 2x but the bumps were pretty serious. May have even happened with stock springs. These are pretty solid you'll be happy.

      I didn't use a camber kit. There is some negative camber but not too bad. Its been roughly 4-5k miles since install and rear tires aren't showing any signs of excess wear as of yet.

      I was thinking about doing the eibach springs with a 0.8 drop all around but after seeing this idk if I want the eibach or these! This looks really good! Do you get any kind of strange noises or bad ride quality?

      @@romanvenegas8464 Thanks I love the look as well. These are a 1.2" drop so will be a more noticeable difference in ride height from stock. Funny you ask about noises. Another person asked me the same question. If your getting noises after doing springs then they weren't done correctly or parts weren't torqued back properly. So to answer your question 0 noises or issues. The car rides great!

      No need to cut them. But just to verify there's an orange sheet in the box with the part #'s saying which ones need to be cut.

      They will fit. On the 2.0t it's 1.2" front and rear. I remember seeing the front will sit higher on the 1.5t due to the weight difference of the motor. It's .1 or .2 less of a drop

      I did not get one although it's recommended. My Negative camber is minimal. Over 6k miles and no signs of excess tire wear.

    Hey , I just lowered my car with same springs and I get a slight vibration when acceleration 10-25 mph . Do you experience this as well?

      Absolutely not, has to be some kind of an installation error like improper torque spec on the bolts. I've been running mine for over 11k miles with zero issues

      @@damacknificent151 most likely he didn’t get an alignment done after installing or improper installation and torque specs like told on previous comment.

      @@damacknificent151 nope still there , swapped oem spring and it goes away. Re installed aftermarket springs , vibration re appears . My theory it has something to do with the cv angle when lowered

    did these have to settle a bit to get that low? i just picked up and installed these on my 19 1.5t sport and my drop isn't as low as yours.

      They do take a couple of weeks to settle. This video was taken the day after they were installed. I do believe the 1.5t won't be as low due to the difference in weight of the motor. But only like .1" difference between the two.

    Do you notice any spring noise? I installed some H&R's on my 2018 TLX and they creak and pop A LOT.

      Nope zero still running them. That usually happens if the torque spec is off or on this car the rears get installed upside down

    did you have to cut the bump stop for the rear..... i have the springs and after the swap im hearing knocking sound in the rear

      No this part# doesn't require it. Its on that orange paper that comes with the springs. From my past experience a noise like that is from being loose or improper tq spec. I'd try to go over everything and make sure nothing is loose.

    It's not much difference if I was you I would go with the coils a lot better if you go only with spring you going to have issues I had that before and I regret it but anywho it looks really good.

      Thanks . The car has settled some from that video also added spacers changed the whole look. I have run H&R sport springs in 2 other cars never had any negative effects or regrets. Heres a vid on how it came out.

      They should be the same. The drop is 1.2" F&R

      @@juniorreillo264 I didn't get one but you will get a little inner tire wear. Its not terrible. If I were lower then it would be necessary.

      You wont be able to adjust the height on lowering springs, you would need coilovers for that

    would you recommend these even if the car gets daily driven like 60+ miles for work and if so are you using a camber kit for the rear wheels ?

      Yes, I daily mine about 45 miles a day. So similar situation. I still have not done a camber kit as I don't see it being worth it for me. I just rotate my tires to even out the wear. Its not low enough for the camber to be that far off.

      I didn't use one. There is some negative camber but not much. I personally like that look.

      Sorry I am asking because I bought my eibach springs a couple months ago and found out I needed a camber kit too so I returned my springs. I feel like the drop isn't much but needs a camber kit. I don't know.

      @@vincentdo4757 Yes I did. You should always get an alignment when doing any kind of suspension modification. With a camber kit you will be able get rid of all the negative camber. I didn't use one so I still have some. Im pretty sure it will be fine but my tires will be the real judge.

      @@albertdiaz6829 link not working. But just do a search for Accord front lip. I ordered direct from China. I wasn't in a rush, and it only cost $40 shipped. People rebrand and sell for almost $200 and its the same thing. I'm sure there are better ones out there, but fit and finish is great.

    The front is too low in comparison to the rear. Is uneven !!!!! Solution: coilovers for an even front / rear balance stance
