My 1994 Corsa B Swift 1.4 doesn't have a techometer. I can now finally match the engine sound with an RPM range thanks to your video, lol.
Hahaha you're welcome :D I installed a tachometer from an other corsa ^^ I just love to look of it, and recently I upgraded it again ;D stay tuned....
@@GermanLetsKev I would love to have one as well. It's a good indicator for when the engine is still cold so I don't stress it too much. But i don't know if the 1994 model can even have one haha
@@GermanLetsKev my grandpa has one with 1.0L engine without a tachometer also, but the cars are built good and the seats have held up good. surprising quality fun little car, and fuck those people who say opels are bad cars, they're not they just drive the diesel versions thats why they think that xD

I got it as a gift. It's old, but quite good conserved. I am really scared about having to repair anything since I am not even student at the moment (I will be able to get a job as soon as I start studying at a uni)

@@EroGamerGD keep a eye on the engine oil level, coolant, avoid going under 2000rpm and over 5000rpm.

Esse Corsa B foi um sucesso absoluto no Brasil com a Chevrolet entre 1993 a 2001 na versão duas portas, teve a versão Sedan que foi de 1996 com motor 1.0 8v, 1.4 8v e 16v e teve 1.6 16v que é uma maquina, foi de 1996 até 2016.
Meu pai teve um desse ano 1997, era muito bom para um carro 1.0.

My first car was a dark blue Opel Corsa B 1.2 16v from the year 2000, with most of the extra options but the motor died, so i bought another one a white one from the year 1999 without all the extra options and has like 178.000 driven kilometers on it, it drives perfectly. 😁
In my opinion, one of the best models from Opel...!
That was a really annoying situation, I had just got my driving license, was looking for cars... I decided on a 2012 VW up! and then an friend came and told me he had an Opel Corsa B for me, for free.
But I had already signed the contract and was already registered as the owner, the Corsa B would have been a great first car.
My dad, mom, oncle, other uncle, mother and myself owned a Corsa, but they all were 1.2 swing, except mine was a 1.4, i love it. One thing though, may be you want to warm up the engine a little longer before revving it that much.

Good car. I'm thinking about swapping my 1.2 45km for 1.6 gsi maybe or 1.4. Don't know if that's a good idea though

Hey, ja es ist ein einfacher, permanenter, silberner Lackmaler. Ich glaube den habe ich mal bei Aldi gekauft :D Da gibts ja ab und zu so Stifte und sowas. Aber denke, dass du so einen von Edding im Schreibwarenladen bekommst. Gute Drogerien haben oft auch Schreibwaren, da kannst mal fragen.
Some people don't know how dangerous brake checking is.
Funktioniert die Heizung nicht so richtig? Die ist nämlich die ganze Fahrt auf Maximum.
Bei mir im Golf II wäre ich bei Einstellung auf Maximum nach 10 Minuten vor Hitze gestorben, weil's dann Wüstenklima im Fahrzeug hat.

I saw lpg meter at the left side ,correct ?
I had one like this its not reliable at all. But i still mis it the heater can kill you it becomes so hot. And it was pretty fast faster than a Toyota aygo and a 1.2tdi polo bleumotion. It had just 93.000km is still mis it.
@salamandertje I can't agree... my first corsa 1.4 8V 60 PS was a very good car till I sold it to get a car with more extras... and now this one just drives very well and runs good....
I've seen people with more than 500k km on it (petrol and diesel). I have one 1.7D that has 464k km with 0 issues at all
@@doodeedoo5082 Im talking about the 1.4 8v engine. Not about the 1.7d that is a tank. But the 1.7dti is not so nice many problems with fuelpumps

Welchen Motor würdest du für einen Fahranfänger empfehlen?
Allgemein bis etwa 120PS max. Beim Corsa B kann ich den 1.4i 8V 60PS Motor empfehlen! Der ist normal unzerstörbar ^^ Diese Ecotec Motoren kann ich nicht empfehlen.

Yes it has (it's an extra), I have one (my second Corsa B), and it's really reliable and confortable to drive around. And this cars have some extras, like electric windows/mirrors, roof top and AC. Some guys already put ABS and cruise control on their Corsa B!

Nice video! Sounds like your belt idler wheel bearing has gone and is making the whining noise.
Actually the clutch is shot... 🤷♂️
@@GermanLetsKev It could be, didn't hear any squeeling from the release bearing when you had your clutch pushed down at the start of the video. My guess would still be the idler as I've had the same problem on a 1.2 16v corsa b.
@@electriclightbulb1232 I know for a fact that its the release bearing ^^ Because once I overheated it and since It made that noise ^^ I replaced everything on my engine 2018, so it can't be the idler.... But I sold my corsa 6 months ago, so i dont care xD

Was für ein penisgesteuerter Peugeot-Kobifahrer...ich hätte auch mit Hupen etc. reagiert...aber wenn der seinen Kombi in 5 Jahren verheizt hat fährt dein Corsa immer noch.

The 70 Zone ended and I got up to speed, but he decided that I was to slow and he doesn't want to drive behind me. Although I got to the limit fast enough.
