    The fact that your a teacher, you can articulate things into a digestible, easy to listen to manner. Very thorough video.

      Thanks for the compliment and I'm glad you're enjoying them, that's the hope! And hopefully your WGU journey is going smoothly. Lots of useful courses in the BSBM program, I'd love to learn more about business. The MS Business Management and Leadership program is very enticing to me.

    Hi Justin,
    New to your channel and very much eye opening videos you are sharing. I am also a teacher in the US in a high school, and my goal is to finish this program in 6 months if I go this route, however I am curious what your time schedule looked like teaching while going through this program. Especially teaching full time etc.

      Hey Markie. Thanks for your comment! I assume you're interested in a master's level program. Based on my experience, I had to have a consistent schoolwork routine to stay on track. Initially, I started by dedicating my weekends to coursework, but as I progressed I found myself working most nights. This was especially the case when working on the research components of the degree.
      If you're efficient and can don't get distracted easily, it's doable to complete the program in just 6 months-many people have done it. Personally, I had confidence in my ability to succeed and (mostly) didn't allow negative thoughts or others' opinions veer me away from that.
      Currently, I'm in a doctoral program that requires substantially more work than WGU but follows a similar Competency-Based Education (CBE) model. I do about 2 to 5 hours every day. Though, WGU master's degrees seems more manageable for people working full-time jobs.

    I absolutely love your channel! I plan on enrolling for the MBA in January. Question do you have any colleagues who graduated from or are currently enrolled in the MBA program?

      @lifebyjustin  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the comment Jay! And I don’t have any personal acquaintances who did the MBA but I know of one person who is Canadian like myself who did it. I found him on LinkedIn while trying to discovery grads in my province. I might recommend looking up people on Linkedin with a WGU MBA and you’ll find endless amounts. You can add them as a connection and then send them questions about there experience. Sort of like a mini informational interview if they are open it :)

      Thanks! And I'm not too sure about the IT program about you could check Josh Madakor's channel on TH-cam as he has more experience in that domain and does WGU videos :)

    I have a question, if you manage to maintain an A in your course but sadly failed your final exam is it still possible for you to pass the class? Here in Florida, the college I went to, you still had the chance to pass the classes even if you barely failed the exam and pass the class with 70% which is a C and is me minimum requirements to pass the class

      I think it really depends on the school and department. In my first bachelors degree, a B- was a pass in my classes because I was in a very specialized competitive program. At WGU, my current school, there are no formal grades as everything is pass or fail based on competence level (you’d have to research competency-based education for more info). I kno some grade-based schools work on a curve which means you can pass the class even if you have a failing grade (depending on if everyone else did bad too). Your situation sounds pretty standard to me, meaning, even if you do bad on an exam you can still pass the course and do okay (that’s happened for me in my bachelors).

      Hi Anthony, it was the Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction. it should be mentioned in the first 10-ish seconds of the video.
