And I mean he has lost to Ma Long, Fan Zhendong and Lin Shidong as well but those are acceptable for the Chinese I guess (Lin Yun-Ju is also an amazing player but this just proves that Wang has been very inconsistent lately)

So many fans trying to find excuse for wcq. The fact is that his defeats are completely unrelated to the Olympics. He is still the same. His ranking was the fruit of his illegal serves which his playing style rely on so much. Now his serves have been well studied by major opponents. Other than that, his overall level of skills and mentality and adjustment is only mediocre in the Chinese national team.
indeed thats good theory but how they study serve in only 3 month? because I think wqc is playing worst since olympic, i feel like he is less powerful and more hesitating and that he miss a lot of balls.
