I have a 1988 EG59-70 I believe. Flame top like yours. Mine doesn't have a decal under the back pickup. I wish I could read Japanese.

The pickups in this guitar should be DRY 1982. They are low output PAF style pickups. I have a similar guitar. The Fender amp he is using is not known for sounding tight. They "sag" if that makes since. Marshals are more tight.
