pictures are my pet peeve, some sellers put up garbage pictures, look like they took them in the dark and made them blurry on purpose. they either don't check them or don't care. the app must crop pictures because the seller sees the picture they up loaded but on the listing missing very top and bottom

If you use your desktop, your photo's will look awful. I tried using my phone to list which made a huge improvement with the photos. If I try to edit my listing, or ad photos, I can't. the app just gets stuck in the middle and you can't scroll to the top or the bottom (where the submit button is) Real pain and no way to complain or let them know about the problem. Support has been often very strange and frustrating and unhelpful with past issues.

I use the platform but I don't care for it. Hard to get a hold of anyone. Your money sits there, not going straight into the bank. I sell books hard to use media mail, and this is 2024

Well, the listing is showing but there is know way for the buyers to select a payment, it is just showing edit listing, how do I get the listing to show buy now and paypal? please help I do not know what I'm doing.
so I'm new at this only about a month in, but I get confused how to list a bundle, so I've done it, but I deleted the items first, then created a new listing with all the pics in the new listing, well then it told me they were gone, so how do you do the bundle without someone buying it before you create it for a particular person? sorry just a little confusing. Typically the item will not sell while your making the bundle. You could also screen shot the items and delete them and then make the bundle. I don’t get asked to bundle much. That is what I would do. Or increase the price of the items so there is no way anyone would purchase them. You can also mark unlisted that way if they back out of the sale you still have your original listing. There are so many ways to do it. Just gotta find which works best for you :)
OK but my biggest question is why isn’t anyone talking about why they ask for $1700 to store it in my opinion that is like scamming because I wanna make sure I’m getting my money back?
My sales have been slower also lately and it is because I have not been listing as much. The key to selling more is listing more and pricing competitively. I always list on high the high side and send offers. Make sure you are sending offers and promoting the items. So make sure you list high enough to do those things.
Mecari won't let me list I been with them for a year I verified and bought items ...I have a PayPal bank account for 6 years and thats the one I put on there but it keeps telling me to add debit card like I'm not doing it

Yes promote it to bump it. If it does not sell after a period of time a lot of people end the item and relist it. I just let mine sit but would probably sell more if I relisted items. I have had old items sell all of a sudden.
If I understand it correctly the three day to rate by seller starts once the package is delivered. Just wondering what happens in in those instances where the package is lost or never delivered.
I would guess that the buyer would contact Mercari and the insurance would kick in if the package was lost. I have not had any issues with shipment. :)

Notifications are not great. You just have to check the app

Mercari does not protect sellers like eBay does when a "standard envelope" gets lost without a scan. Huge scam.

If you have the item on another platform you should be able to just end the item on the other platform. Just go in and delete the listing :)
