I think that another great skill to develop beyond reading goes perfectly with learning from what you read as well. This is the T in FAST from your podcast: Teach. Even if you just read a story, retell the story to a friend or family member. Heck, tell the story to your cat. This will help you to rephrase what you read into your own words and help solidify it. I think of some of my favorite TH-camrs and they have great stories to tell and I love to see that they have a new video because they have great stories to tell. I love listening to you talk about your class photo.
I feel that in more recent years, I have fewer and fewer stories worth telling though and so I don't and now I feel like my own personal communication skills may have atrophied. Reading and Teaching what you have read to someone else can help to build this important skill.

Thank you, Jim! I used to be a slow reader and often would feel very sleepy while reading. Now, with your techniques I read more efficiently. All your techniques help me. I especially love the visual pacer.

    Hi Jim!
I just wanted to give you advice because you are helping me all the time.
I heard that you have issue with your knees, and this could help.
It calls "barefoot shoes", and personally it really help me with knees pain and mobiliy.
The whole point is that it is whider than "regullar" shoes, and allowes you to use your whole potensiol of your feet and fingers.
Have a nice day from SLOVAKIA. 👣

I find it difficult to even pick up a book as I tend to forget what I've read. Any ideas to help me get over this hurdle. I also have a tendency to fall asleep too 😏

Read a book and listen to the audiobook of the same book at the same time. I do that sometimes.
That way it feels like a teacher is reading to me same way we learnt in school by following the book whilst the teacher reads it.

Yes and no as well. There is no evidence that says excessive masturbation leads to memory loss. But excessive consumption of adult content have some long term negative impacts on brain. So if you do excessive masturbation, probably you watch excessive corn as well. And excessive corn cause memory and cognitive problems.
Excessive masterbation does not cause any direct memory problems but indirectly it does. Like if it's an addition, it will have negative impacts in cognitive function of brain including memory. Also if it cause fatigue, stress, regret, again negative impact on memory.
The best way to avoid this is:
Once or twice corn a week
Once or twice masterbation a week
Take atleast 30 minutes to do that otherwise you'll lose your stamina.
And also get a job to get a bit busy and avoid that.
