    I was following an earlier version of the PBI training from Learnit (circa Mar-Apr 21) and due to work demands, postponed studies until recently. During that time frame, I lost my files and started over recently, having gone through 2/3rds of the training. Started over, but the web links for data have since expired. Did make some beautiful reports, alas lost to the data dump in the sky. Going to get through this training and then retake for certification.

    Hey Trish, great video..
    I have a technical question if you don't mind me annoying you... is there a way to connect the video's progression (Frame or which second it is at) with my data?
    For example.. lets say the report is about a building being constructed from start till finish, and in power bi I have a chart of dates (X) and completion % (Y) that mirrors that... then I have a video simulation of the building being built, and I want to connect the progression of the video with the progression of the chart somehow.. Can you advise me on that?

    Hey I just wanted to report an error. When I'm trying to import the "IT Spend Analysis Sample" the same way as you do, I get an error during migration. It says "Input string was not in a correct format" and does not allow me to import the file.

    From 1:24:48 where you show how to get data from cloud-based Excel file, I get the following error when I try to get data from the web URL that I copied after opening the file in the excel app, "The downloaded data is HTML, which isn't the expected type. The URL may be wrong or you might not have provided the right credentials to the server." How do I resolve it?

    I just checked ms says it doesn’t support 2013 excel power query add in and suggest updating to 2016. How do we get it when we can’t force our employer to upgrade?

    • @LearnitTraining
      @LearnitTraining  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately chookfeather there is no other way but to upgrade. 2013 is nearly a decade old and is missing numerous advanced features.
