Unveiling the Honda HRX217 push mower with the GRX200 motor.

Finally broke down and bought a new push mower. The Honda HRX217 is the unit I decided on. The unit was extremely easy to assemble and to get running out of the box.

Home Depot online had them on sale for several weeks. But I believe they are now full price again.

I noticed the wave. My neighbors used to get upset because I didn't do the wave every time they did 😂. Looks like a nice mower I'm deciding between that one and the Hrx217vka.

I looked at the Hrx217vka as well. I was just a little worried how the plastic self-propelled levers would hold up. That's why I went with "hya". But I'm sure the plastic will hold up too.

@@29Turf sorry but the Honda haved nothing didn't work simple swap a plastic gear with a new plastic gear that identical to what was there before

its fiber reinforced plastic deck. They are pretty tough. i have few years older one with the 190cc iirc. it still purrs like new. i only run 87 ethanol free though it. run it dry in the fall, quick squirt of engine Fog.

@@29Turf you wrong the plastic cam never haved that instead have metal camshaft on honda hrx hrd hrn if being fixed and become safe instead is not true safe why the starter rope of honda hrx is too much soft if you have a kids or toddler that him can hurt itself or worse start the engine simply pull the rope of the engine and start it inside the garage house in that case is better for really safety recall for everyone

You had it on halfway between full mulch and full bag, sooooo yeah you won't have all the clippings going into the bag

If you all know honda has stopped mower production to hrn 216 and hrx 217.

@@DawnJiang-kd6me they have not stopped making those mowers. They have stopped selling them in the US as they can't meet California emissions.
