Tiff, I found your content during maternity leave when I had my baby in August. The same time you had Ella & were at home with the 2 boys in your old house in 2018. I watched your videos a lot and always would be inspired by you as a Mum getting stuff done and watching Ella grow the same way as my daughter 🩷

I’ve been doing one load a day from start to finish and it has helped me tremendously with never getting behind or overwhelmed with the laundry situation. I always start first thing in the morning and after it’s washed put in dryer and then I’ll fold before bed or before if I have a few extra minutes. You can also try putting one load in to wash then dry and fold in the morning or wash and dry before bed and fold in the morning. Once you start doing it that way it’ll become automatic and part of your daily routine.
I love that idea "start to finish" I feel like I could def do that instead of getting overwhelmed by the pile up of clean

My favorite part of summer break is the routine goes straight out the window lol no rush to make dinners etc however by the time fall rolls around and kids go back to school it's always so nice to get back into that routine. 😊
yup its so true I almost feel like next summer if I just knew there would be no routines I'd feel better instead of trying to get on routines
We just finished Winter here in Australia and i miss it already.. It went by soooo fast 😭.. Where i live it is warm/hot/humid from September to April and those months feel the longest to me. 4 months of cold weather will never be enough for me.😍

I wanted to tell you why you are my role model. I was born at 25 weeks, my lungs needed oxygen and I also had retinopathy, if the doctor didn't realize that I had it, I would lose my eyesight but thank god they found it early and all I needed was laser, but I still can't carry heavy stuff. I had 30% chance of staying alive because I was so small and I had a lot of pipes and stuff. That's why I thank God everyday for keeping me alive. You are such an inspiring person and I look up to you so much 🤍
thats an amazing story Maria. I took care of A LOT of 25 weekers and they have so much to overcome in the NICU and its amazing that you are as healthy as you are today too! God is good all the time.

I too have a comfort heating item but it is a hot water bottle with cover. they’re amazing for backaches any ache really and even help keep you warm in the winter..it’s soothing and they’re safer then heating pads as well as for some reason the heating pads make me feel sick. ❤❤❤

My family and I do Florida ( not Disney) in the winter. We loved it so much we go to the same place each year. It’s easy to hop on and off cruises while we’re down too. We’ve been all over the Caribbean just by vacationing in Florida!

Hi for the winter time you should totally go on a royal Caribbean cruise I was skeptical but our family loved it! Tropical weather is our vibe! Kids have so much fun

Fine Grain for paint. Hired an interior designer and before she even saw my house, she said I can guarantee that’s the color I will pick, sure enough if she came to my house and it was a no-brainer for her! Looks beyond wonderful!!!

The paint for bathroom tubs/showers is very strong in the fumes department. Very strong. I did find appliance paint worked wonderful in the shower and dint make me pass out from fumes. Winter is like so incredibly long...feels like extra slow time. I say paint the boys room that same light color as the shark chairs.

My best bathtub cleaning hack: loofa on a stick to scrub down tub easier. Started doing it when I was big and pregnant, and haven’t looked back (don’t use the same loofa to clean yourself lol)

@@BeautyTheBeastons My pups can’t but my kitties sometimes like to jump in there. I usually do the dishes right away but sometimes I don’t and one of my kitties in particular gets nosy. It is a good motivator to get them done right away. Haha. One of my pups is 80 lbs and my other is 40 lbs but thankfully they don’t jump on the counters/sink.
Not sure if it is something you would be interested in but maybe faux tin tiles to cover the popcorn. Also for boys room may be nice to do a light ocean blue/teal like color to replicate the bay colors and keep in water theme

Depending on the budget for your winter vacation, warm tropical places like Caribbean , cancun, hawaii...you could also do a family friendly cruise to those areas. Or perhaps a place like arizona or southern California. Good luck!
I have always wanted to go somewhere like Aruba but when traveling out of the country with our kids I would love it if we went with another family just makes me feel more comfortable

Girl it’s not just you! Everyone anticipates summer before it’s June 21st. Then as soon as July winds down, people are getting ready to go back to school and for fall before summer is even half over. It’s a mind puzzle for sure! A lot of it’s due to the schools beginning too early in my opinion and so many loving fall time. I love fall too but I’d love summer to feel longer!

I was thinking maybe you could have let that run while you guys are away since you can set it all up from your phone.

I have 2 rooms in my house I'm freaky about the kitchen and bathroom.! I've always been that way. I like everything clean but those are my picky places. There is something about staying on track with the laundry in the summer for me too. I'm usually on top of it. Lol! I'm sad summer is almost over but really ready for a routine again. Mom life right! The best life but hard at the same time staying on track of everything! 🥰

Four minutes in and I’m watching. Never been this early. Just back from hospital having a rest. Nothing to worry about just had an MRI on back results in five weeks. Five hour round trip it was. I don’t like dirty dishes anywhere. I do have a bit of clothes to put away.

@@BeautyTheBeastons Thank you Tiff. I’ve had back pain since 1999 August bank holiday and have six slip discs. However this year it’s affecting my right leg and I’m unable to bend my right foot and toes. Plus I’m diabetic and my Dr who’s lovely said straight away that I need this MRI again to find out what’s causing the trouble. I feel like my leg is like so heavy. So even though I have had back pain and sciatica this is a new problem. Hence they are looking at the back because it’s referred pain.
Popcorn ceiling removal is so terrible!! We had them throughout our whole house and the dust and mess and just work of it is so frustrating!

I would suggest a shade of blue like ocean blue since their room is a shark theme. As a shiplap looks really nice on the ceiling to cover those awful popcorn ceilings.

I would take it up put it on my kids beds and they had to put their clothes away. My husband is dishes one glass and he has to wash it.
its great when our husbands are clean like us if I had a messy husband I wouldn't even know how to act. Sometimes I think Chris is even more of a "neat freak" than me

No joke. Baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and blue dawn dish soap made into a paste gets everything out. Leave it on that stain for like a day and the carpet clean it again! I haven’t found one stain that won’t come out with that combo. I got it from Jamie’s journey on TH-cam.

I want to be like you when I grow up. Also Carter needs a soccer jersey and certain hoodies clean so I have to do laundry multiple times a week for the boys alone lol
Regarding the popcorn ceilings, just have a sheet rocker come in, tape and plaster. We did that to our living room. The easiest way we found to do this. We have one more room in the house that has a popcorn ceiling. Our grandsons bedroom, that he doesn’t even sleepover anymore. 😩So we are no hurry. Eventually it will be my craft room.
