Happy Sunday! I separate the color clothes and white clothes and use hot water for whites and cool water for colors. The white clothes mostly includes towels and I like to use hot water disinfect and clean thoroughly. No right or wrong answers, it's just what works for me. I am interested in what others say. Thank you for the motivation Tiffani 😃

I Always separate whites, colors, towels, then special wash garments. Just always did it that way. I wash whites on warm or hot water. I wash colors on cold. Towels on hot. Then specials on cold.
Great video, have fun on vacation!

Tiffani, as an interior designer, would love to give you a few pieces of simple advice which I believe would render your lovely place ever cozier and original.
1)The first two are functionality-related: maybe think about getting a pouf, or a foot rest of whatever kind you'd like, to go with your wicker chair in the boho corner. Being able to sit down and put your feet up is truly a game-changer when it comes to comfort.
    2) For maximum viewing comfort, the middle of a TV set should be at eye-level (or as close to that as possible) when you are positioned for watching, so if ever you feel up for it, maybe reposition the TV sets--also a huge game-changer in terms of comfort.
    3) Either in the bedroom or the boho corner, maybe pick one wall and make it into an accent wall. For a uniquely stylish and gorgeous effect, you could paint that wall ombre: pale pink-->pale beige gradient or whatever other colors appeal to you.
    4) You have plenty of sunlight indoors, so maybe get large, real potted plants? E.g. ficus lyrata is both very stylish and zen looking and it's relatively easy to take care of. Real plants bring in an amazing vibe into interiors, plus they are supposed to be healthy.
    5) In the dining room, on the longest wall, think about installing a large panel of decorative mirrors of some type (not necessarily the framed kind which are meant for individual display). There are options: beveled mirrors, distressed mirrors, mirrored wall art panels, etc. It's gonna look super glam, dynamic, and will increase light and enhance the sense of space.
That's it for now. Love your channel. I'm also a minimalist + clean/tidy + love organizing, so your ways definitely resonate with me :-)
    Keep rocking! =)

Happy Sunday! Love the motivation! 🤍 I separate colors from whites and use cool water for both! I noticed drastic change in my energy bill and results are the same! I actually think my whites are brighter with cool water. Also less shrinkage! I only use hot when I bleach my dogs stinky towels 😂

I do separate by texture rather than colors so rough clothes together like sweaters and jeans and smooth clothes like gym wear and undergarments. I throw color catchers in there and always use cold water.

Sue here: Tiffany, your bedroom is gorgeous as is! A couple pieces of wall art that match your decor in there, and a big rosey rug layered under the bottom feet of your bed ( sticking out into the room) would so finish the composition yet still be minimal 💖.

    Evening!
    I always separate my white/darks/reds+pinks/towels/cleaning cloths/dishcloths!!!!
My whites I do on the "whites cycle" the darks on "normal hot temp" same with the reds + pinks, everything else is on "heavy" and sanitize temp, I also do my towels on "steam cycle" I found that way they don't smell fusty... Hope that helps! Oh and I always use softener!!!

  • @thehillsarehome6151

I only separate colors if the clothes are new. I have a basket for each person in my house, and we wash clothes per room. I don't separate. This makes putting laundry away so much easier.

You ask how I start cleaning, much like yourself, I start upstairs in bedrooms & bathroom and work my way downstairs. I noticed we have similar bedroom lamps, I put mine in my livingroom and they are teal colour. Regarding washing clothes, I split my whites from colours and to help our planet I set 30°. Clothes wash well at that temp. Thank you for great video, I look forward to Sunday nights to watch your video.. Blessings 🙏

For example do I use 40 degrees for whites and Undies, 60 degrees for towels and bedsheets and 90 degrees for very dirty cleaning stuff. I separate dark, white, sports cloths, colour and light colours.. 😆 I have to wait some time with special clothes to have enough to wash them.. I think that way my cloths live longer.. happy to get answers what cold and warm means in temperatures in America? Thank you 😊 💓
