I'm gonna be completly honest, Jiaoqiu looks extremely disappointing at the moment and, outside of Acheron and maybe Argenti, I don't see anyone who would rather use him over any of the other busted Harmony units. Also, Hoyo making Jiaoqiu a damage dealer, but then locking most of his damage behind e2 is the biggest clown move I've ever seen. Hope he receives big changes during beta.

@@noelrakman9641 yes his e2 should be on his kit, this has happened many times where the character’s eidolons became their kit, a good example is robin.
Honestly he's pretty good, and with the DMG/Ult DMG vuln, he won't overcap def and can be comfortably used WITH Pela/Silverwolf. Adding his own personal dmg (and any further buffs they can make with this and copium Eidolon changes like dot lol) and stacks for Acheron or any future character, he is ABSOLUTELY cooking (pun intended)
Something I don’t understand is that in his traces he gains a lot of attack from effect hit rate but he basically only debuffs before e2 .. the DoT should definitely be a part of his base kit .. they can change the e2 to be like 6% def shred for every stack of his debuff maxing at 30% 🤷🏽♂️
I don't have Acheron, and i don't see how i can fit him on my teams...I could just replace Pela for him, but I only use Pela with Jingliu...but he might just be small improvement compared to Pela...

E2 needs to base, healing needs to be brought back with decent scaling, and that ehr debuff needs to be spd reduction or weakness break or res pen or def shred. Literally anything would be better then freaking ehr down.

Dumb take. The healing in his old kit was never enough to solo sustain in the first place. He already looks cracked with this kit. Just based on the info in the vid, he can probably generate stacks for Archeron so quickly that you can run Archeron + Jiaoqiu + Pela + Fu Xuan and still get a 2-turn ult, which is why there is no need to remove a sustain. However, it would indeed be better if they didn't lock DOT behind his E2 since they're already focusing so much on ATK.

No vulnerability does increase super break dmg. I tried a super break team with and without welt. Welt gives 12% dmg vulnerability in his ult. In the end the team with welt does 12% more super break dmg than the one without welt. So u can use him with Sam.
This unit good for acheron only in PF. Over all he is small buff and i guss its better to go for firefly since its morelikely that acheron wont get stronger much but firefly can stonk when she will get 5 star superbreak support

It is the same as Acheron’s “The Abyss” passive which increases the Initial Damage (In-Game, it’s called Original Damage) you deal by 60% with 2 nihility characters at e0 basically, if you originally deal 100k dmg, with 30% Initial DMG bonus you will instead deal 130k dmg.
Problem is Jiaoqiu was supposed to fill that roll. Since they took out his healing since it was underwhelming, instead of buffing it to be useful. That and ehr down debuff is just stupid useless.
I also confuse. I look at his kits. It is dmg, effect hit rates, atk, reduce all type res, fire dot. So, where is the heal? Is he heal himself or what? 😐
For nihility and DoT teams, I think Jiaoqiu excellent to get. For heals, I still think Gallagher is better to add. But I agree. I had no idea for other teams.

Without s1 he’s looking slightly better than Guin (35 vs 32 vuln buff), and considering Kafka resolved Guin’s slow application he faster stacking isn’t much of a benefit either. He won’t be removing RM or Robin. I haven’t done calcs, but he might take the place of a double harmony. So sparkles + JQ for hypercarry or smth like that.
I don't like his design so I am skipping. My E2/S1 Acheron feels like I am already cheating any content in HSR. With Sparkle E0/S1, Pela E6 with Luka's LC and Gepard E1 with the Trend LC. I can almost ULT every other turn because of this build.
Thing is, Jiaoqius debuff works like trends, but is 100% guaranteed since it doesn't require anyone to be hit. Sucks because the rest of his kit is just so fucking meh.

The lightcone debuff escalates from the unarmored to cornered --> unarmored gets replaced with cornered --> 35+18=53% dmg vuln at max stacks e0s1
Yes Cornered replaces Unarmored, but Cornered is combining the two effect for a total of 28% vuln

Ruan Mei LC is really good for Harmony Trailblazer, Ruan Mei can use Memories of the past S5 or Cogs S5
