At the start, theorycrafter make team for anomaly with stunner because disorder was not really "ready". Since Burnice disorder is ready and stunner are not so important. Ok, Lighter is a special case because his synergy with fire and ice. Me personally, I take this change like a message from hoyo devs, about the fact that they dont intent from the start to make anomaly work very well with stunner. Defender are for me the alternative to pure stunner for anomaly. In a disorder you need just a buff, that can be a pure support or a defender. For Miyabi that will be a support, Soukaku and she work really well on paper. With Yanagi that can be her best in slot partner (and maybe at worst Piper) to disorder on demand at least its pretty cool. Full section 6 team !

People forgetting Soldier 11 exists for lighter to be usable. I can agree the decision to give him ice debuffs and atks up is quite weird if hes gonna be treated like this, but still is giving FIRE dmg and res shatter with it. Not everyone has been pulling every banner, some have to use fire teams because it was the only other team they could build. Soldier 11 is a good character and NO ONE has even appeared to be creeping her.

Team Comp: Soukaku: Provides a 1k DMG Buff + 20% Ice Buff. Ceaser: Also provides 1k DMG Buff and also provides a 25% DEF debuff to the enemy. So in theory, it is possible to make Miyabi have an ATK of 5k and building her Crit Rate and Crit DMG is not difficult to 170-200%.

Honestly Lighter reminds me of Topaz situation where he can work with a few units from 1.0 version but he isn't much of an improvement for them and those teams aren't great overall. So I would bet he will also be a future proof unit but if we want to be sure about that we will have to wait 2.X patches. By that time, he would get a rerun most likely, so pulling him for now is not necessary but also risky given his future proof value is hypothetical at this point in the game.

7:00 is it confirmed to be a Attacker W-Engine and not a Anomaly? because wouldnt that also be a good W-Engine for Miyabi if it was Anomaly? on one hand it makes sense to be a new good and free W-Engine for Harumasa if hes free (so anybody can use him) but at the same time since we dont have any good W-Engine for Miyabi (beside her own) it would make sense to me if this would be a Anomaly W-Engine I get that they want people to spend money but I think that it would be a bad move to drop Miyabi and FORCE players to spend for her W-Engine

why would they make lighter an stunner for fire and ice characters and only make him viable with ellen when she already had lycaon wtf, i'm so pissed. they should've made him an attacker from the start; now all lighter feels like he doesnt have a purpose at the game yet and if the physical stunner idol is coming seems like he won't even have one to begin with 💀

Kinda makes sense about Harumasa's M1, since there's been a lot of talk about an event giving him away for free. Gotta give people a reason to pull for him regardless and having an M1 that deletes his most notable weakness is definitely a way to go about it. The Miyabi change really seems to cement Yanagi as one of her best choices in team mates, since she's anomaly but fits the requirement for her additional ability of being part of Section 6. Plus, she's really good for triggering disorder, which Miyabi really seems to want. I'm thinking that an M4 Soukaku might be a good fit for the team, too.

I don't have a crystal ball to predict future to be able to tell if Lighter will stonk in the future. What I can tell as of right now, based on current state, man is shaping up to be the worst limited you could possibly go for to the point that I'm surprised that they didn't make him free instead as they are trying to put at least some more thought in Harumasa (free-to-be unit) than him, who will cost. Again, he might be something similar to Topaz and Jade (I pulled both of these) in which there will be some future unit/team comp that really will bring value to him extremely high, but right now he is just extremely questionable as a unit. Way too questionable. I'm still giving him a pull because I for the first time in Hoyo game like how some dude looks. That's about it.

When is the update

So Lighter Burnice Miyabi is basically dead. Lighter Lucy Miyabi is fine I guess but lucy max buff is 600 while Soukaku offers 1000 atk buff and 20% ice dmg bonus that’s literally Lighter and Lucy combined 💀 And to be honest anyone who has Lycaon probably won’t pull for lighter just for his Ice dmg buff since lycaon has 25% ice res debuff on his Ex which is basically gold for anomaly agent like Miyabi and 35% stun dmg multiplier when paired with Ellen or an Ice Agent thus Lycaon Miyabi Soukaku still valid for those without Ellen like me So Lighter stock is literally hanging on by his move set and charm at this point and those who somehow has ellen but no lycaon😭 I didn’t plan to pull for him since I’m saving for miyabi but I most definitely don’t want to pull for him now. The buff on ice dmg looks so weird on him now that this change happens

If they released a new disc set that gave anomaly mastery for the 2pc set, it could make Miyabi’s new disc set more viable for attackers without having to use AM on slot 6. Just an idea, but for now, yeah it seems like it only realistically works for Miyabi.

The fundamental problem with crit agents is that they are expiring worse than milk. What can a crit agent honestly do what an anomoly agent can do better, that's the problem. After miyabi's release I can already tell that a difficulty spike is coming that will only make crit agents worse. Even now, Zhu Yaun is getting a sizable nerf from decibel changes that will make the character on the same level as ellen. Meanwhile, Miyabi is coming and with that 1 character, anomaly will turn ZZZ into a joke as that with the decibel changes will make anamoly a fullscreen clear attack type. Miyabi will completely trivialize the game which means no matter what, the game will be balanced around Miyabi now because if ZZZ doesn't, the whales will get bored and ZZZ will lose more money. Do not build for crit agents, and if you did build crit agents already, it's time to reroll that account as you will not want to miss out on yanagi+miyabi as the meta shifts much like honkai star-rail. Why do you think Harumasa is free?

The change from anomaly to support makes tons of sense right now. There is only really Burnice right now for off field of quick swap Anom, everyone else is cope. If we had 2-3 characters like that then it would make sense, but to unlock 50% of the chance of triggering her anomaly behind a single character would be bad design. I am curious why support and not stun though, I can only imagine it’s because again Lighter is the only quick-swap stunner, and the rest compete with her for field time too much? Also maybe they just wanted to kill that specific Lighter/Burnice team because of how powerful it was with giving her so much field time as well.
