A very useful lesson, especially in organizing the turnarounds in a coherent way. Thank you. Reminds me of some of the principles emphasized by the great guitarist and teacher Howard Morgen: once you get a musical line moving in a certain direction, keep going! The last turnaround is especially nice in that regard: just keep descending to the next feasible partial chord, whether it's A7 or C7 or E7, the chord matters less than the momentum/logic of the descending line.
No, I cannot have too many turnarounds, and now I have some more, so thank you! No doubt they will all get morphed into unrecognizable things, which is good!
I'm a leftie so trying to remember fingerings(after I've done the mirror image in my mind trick) really ties my brain in knots! But, thankyou for this wonderful video. Is there a tab I could get hold of?
Hi Sava - I've been trying to say "picking hand" and "fretting hand" lately but I don't always remember. I don't think I tabbed this one out, but you can find all the tabs that do exist for the TH-cam lessons (you probably know this already) at www.fretboardconfidential.com/signup.
Thankyou so much for getting back to me. I know from your bulletins that you're very busy with one thing or another. I ended up taking pictures with my phone of each chord and then I've been practicing getting the fingering ergonomics together. I walked through my fear and am so pleased. This will draw compliments at the campout jams in Summer.🙂
Great tutorial, thank you… :-) It appears that you have a microphone mounted inside of your sound hole…? What might that be, if you don’t mind me asking? About a year and a half ago I researched the crap out of alternative miking systems then piezos or saddles… And couldn’t come up with anything I liked, except for this one unit… NV Tone Model Duo, Which was a Velcro mounted gooseneck condenser mic with a small outboard preamp… It blew everything else away with its natural tone and isolation. Sadly, when Covid hit, the company seemed to disappear. I can’t find them now anywhere. It would be good to know what that is that you are using for future reference… :-)
Really. Appreciate ! Great. easy

Thanks for the great lessons! I learned this first progression years ago, from Cream’s” I’m So Glad”
Awesome brother thanks for your time and expertise!🙏

One of the best tutorials to be find on youtube!
Thanks a lot for posting.
Excellent lesson, thanks David!

Yes! Morph away :-)
I found your channel by accident. Stayed for good. Really good stuff, You made me grab the guitar once again and play. Love it! Thank you very much!
Great, thank you - easy to follow and fun to play around with.
Great lesson as always thanks for sharing 🙏
Excellent lesson as ever. Thank you David 👌🏼
Why you don't have hundreds of thousands of subcribers is a mystery. Thanks.
You’re right. It’s bizarre
This is just the lesson I needed, I've been wanting to learn more about how to construct turnarounds
Thanks so much David. Every lesson is a gem and gives me so much material to practice and improve with. Much appreciated.
Thank you, Carl!
Thank you for helping me expand my vocabulary of turnarounds. Tons of fun, looking forward to watching more of your content!
What a fun video. This is great.
Great video thanks!
Nice 00. Thanks, you've given me something to delve into this weekend.
Great dive!

Thank you.
Very useful. Thank you.
As always, your teaching style is amazing. You exude patience. Question…do you have any in person classes/schools upcoming this year?
Very nice sir! Thx for these swappable turns!
I can't find the tab for this lesson. If it is considered too simple to require a tab, I guess I'm dragging down the talent curve here.
You sure have a lot of guitars.

Are the tabs available for these,?
For me at least your are assuming that my knowledge base is pretty high.
I want to know what’s in all them cases behind you…
