Apparently Turkish Ali Turkkan is coming to make sure Munster is their fastest driver.... Well, my take is that M-Sport names Munster as their lead driver because he is their only driver to do all 14 rounds. However to qualify for manufacturer points M-Sport needs to run at least 2 cars on all events. Now filter in recent Citroen news and other rumours and I have Sesks and Gryazin in M-Sport Pumas. However neither of them is likely to afford all 14 rounds, so we could see Sesks and Gryazin sharing the 2nd Puma. And that indeed would be exciting.
I hardly wrote that and Josh McErlean was confirmed as 2nd driver. Wow, I didn't have that on my cards, but it's great. Let's hope that my theory of Sesks and Gryazin sharing a Puma still comes true, that then would be an M-Sport 3-car team. And shows how bad that Hybrid was. Then we would have Toyota with 4-5 cars, Hyundai with 3-4 cars, M-Sport with 3-4 cars, and when was the last time we had more than 10 Rally1 cars at a rally? Did that ever happen? Josh was not the fastest driver in WRC2, but quite decent. Plus a really nice guy. I am looking forward to him. Mind you, as a character Munster is a really nice guy too. So what we need is a new points system for 2026 with 5-4-3-2-1 points for overall results, 10-7-5 points for the best colour schemes and 1 extra point per stage for the best stage end comments. Is the FIA reading this? I am sure they don't get sarcasm and consider it for real!
Im still holding out for 1 on them to do all 14 rounds and they will probably show up Munster! I think you are right though sadly! But having a mix of both of them would be exciting !
Sesks will pick up the slack hopefully, he was pretty amazing last year.

@@thehotlapshow Mind you, I wouldn't be overly surprised if a Sesks or Gryazin doing 7 rounds would collect more points than a Munster on 14 rounds.
