Did you know E30's are 4x100pcd?? I used to have e30 wheels on my polo lol and get the red interior re-trimmed, it's pretty gangster tbh and does contrast quite nicely with the grey 🤷♂️
If that e30 is really an 87 and its a 325 not a 325i then it has the higher compression 2.7 motor and you can take the head off the rusty 2.5 coupe you have with the 2.5 harness and electronics and make a little budget "stroker" by slapping it on the 2.7 bottom end and they make 400whp all day with just a turbo, arp head studs and a cut ring
I don't understand going from a facelift late model E30 to an early diving board bumper turd lol...Keep in mind late rear bumpers don't fit an 87 beacause the rear arches are lower on a late car and even if you want to just swap the front bumper the metal valance has to be swapped too

Don't worry about that ticking noise, all M20's sound that way. However if you think it sounds excessive check the valve backlash to make sure its within spec, which should be done anyways if you don't know when it was last done. You should also change the timing belt if you are unsure when it was done last, they can be prone to breaking when they get old. It's an interference engine as well so if it breaks the pistons will smash into the valves. Loving the E30 content!!

Maybe you could build a bed in the truck camper so you can crash in there just on long drives or stay over night at drift events get a little solar panel mount it on the roof get a solar battery like ecoflow or jackery and then your good to go and save money it'll prolly make for good content as a build video too van life or truck life is huge on you tube too
Be careful putting a prefacelift engine into a facelift car. The wiring harness is different for the CPS on the facelift. As well as the c101 connector may be pinned differently on the late model compared to the early engine. One is Motronic 1.1 and the other is 1.3
That interior is definitely savable! Except the front seats maybe.... It is lether so it just need some attention! look it up on yt. it is not hard just need the right products :P
In New Zealand your gas would cost $6.87 US per gallon of regular (which is 92octane). We have 95 as supreme and also 98-100 octane as premium which is about $7.75 US per Gallon. Diesel is about $5.74 us per gallon plus $51.44 US per 600 miles travelled as a Road User Tax for driving a diesel vehicle. Americans have it good lol

If you can find a windshield for the black car, it’s super easy to change. They are not glued in

Do a timing belt service along with a water pump when you pull the engine. Also M20s need valve adjustments often so that’s also recommended.

Stock 87 chassis with 400hp = twisted rear in a week. Be fun while it lasts.
Rudnick was driving it, so much torque the chassis twisted coming off the line, barely kept her on the track.
It'll last. I've done countless camry start clutch dumps. Rear end is still in tact. 476bhp. 394ft ib torque. 😂
