    This is the only thing I have found on the internet with a side by side comparison. Everywhere I looked, everyone was just talking about it. Talking about it is cool and all, but seeing a side by side comparison is what I've been dying to find. I'm glad I found that here. Thank you.

    Question, does- and if so, how does 16.7M vs 1.07B colours as well as contrast ratio affect Delta-E? This video deserves way more views! Absolutely amazing work.

    • @maxheadrom3088
      @maxheadrom3088 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know how it affects but the 16.7M is 24 bits per pixel while the 1.07B is 30 bits per pixel. I believe the latter is what HDR10 is. AFAIK, these "words" are divided in 3 being 1/3 for each color: 24 is 8R+8G+8B while 30 is 10R+10G+10B. I think the 30 bit will be more accurate if you work with 24 bit images.

    If you could explain more about the colors when it comes to see in monitor and print it on the printer that'd be very helpful. Or if u can suggest any video to help me understand more about what I see in monitor and how to print the same colors.

    Hi there, I am trying to understand rec.2020 a little better. I am looking at filming in rec2020, but monitors seem to only have SRGB, REC709, and DCI-P3 colour gamut. Does this mean that when I am recording, I am just capturing a lot more data which then is compressed when editing in the above colour gamut's? or can you use a monitor that has rec2020 support so that you can edit it like that? if so, what happens when that footage in uploaded onto TH-cam or Instagram for example? Its a long question, but really hoping you can find the time to answer. Thank you so much!.... I've liked and subbed to your channel :)

    Question: I'm wanting to buy a monitor that says it's colour rating is 99% NTSC and 126% SRGB. So my question is if NTSC 99% is almost the same colour gamut as Adobe RGB (so somewhere between 90% -95% Adobe RGB) if yes, then would it be accurate to say that a 99% NTSC would be pretty close colour accuracy for graphic design (ie print). The Delta E on this monitor I'm looking at, is

    • @mubarakgraphs
      @mubarakgraphs 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @dereko9743 Yes, if you connect an external monitor that is color accurate (like 100% sRGB, DCI-P3, aRGB etc.) and use your laptop with it, you will see true colors on external monitor. But your laptop's monitor color accuracy will stay the same.

    • @cc_snipergirl
      @cc_snipergirl 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you're not a designer, you don't need something color accurate but can benefit from the color gamut. A wider gamut will make the colors much richer and get you an overall better viewing experience. Your screen could be 4k, but if the colors are all washed out, it won't feel like it

The delta-e definition that you can look up yourself is really not really accurate, also the specs regarding the color spaces that the MacBook Pro M1 screen covers are wrong, just google it and you will see it yourself.
