very well designed base. if they would have had to do the placing of all the c4 by themselves it would be near impossible to raid that base as it would take a lot of c4 and there are a ton of peak spots. I would say you truly made one of the most overpowered bases in DayZ. Well done!!

This base building gave me an idea. Can you place garage doors in water so when you come to the end of the dock you open the doors and it can serve you as a bridge? Don't know if anyone understands my thoughts... xD
Legit thought JLK was untouchable as far as having the best DAYZ content and story wise i still believe he is... But theres just something about your ability to keep the suspense going, from your base building to how clinical you and Hawk are as a duo that made this particular movies one of my favourites. Solid... Start to finish man. Props.

I don't think they're the bad guys, to be honest mate XD. Really well-made video though. I love these types of Dayz content. As a solo casual player, this sort of thing doesn't ever happen to me so it's great to see how the game can be with so much dedication

What are the softside settings on the server? About 3 years ago, I made a base similar, but before a DayZ change removed the ability to vault from water. Basically, the server we were on required bases to be "raidable". So, what I did was built a 5x5 foundation with a hatchless center piece. Of course the second level had that vault area covered in the event of a raid...but the best part was the fake front room. So, we moved the first row center foundation out just far enough in the water that you would start to swim and couldn't place C4. We demonstrated that players could either drop a barrel and then try to jump on it (back when barrels had collision WITHOUT being placed) or players could sacrifice a car and drive it to the base door, climb on that and place C4. But none of that mattered, because they would only be blowing the "bait door". That first foundation was completely walled off from the rest of the base. Players would blow that door at least 4 or 5 times a week...and see, nothing! 4 walls facing out. We used the "moon pool" hatch foundation under the base and just vaulted up into the base into the first air lock. Eventually, people figured it out, and we are pretty sure the server admins...who, to their credit, kept quite for at least 3 months, let some "friends" of the server in on our little secret entrance although they told everyone publicly in their Discord that the base was indeed inspected and raidable. Anyway, DayZ changed some physics...player had to "get grounded" before they could vault from water, then the barrel collision changed, we couldn't get thing sot work after that...stopped playing.
As a fellow Northern Irelander, I can fully appreciate the amount of effort you put into saying words normally, like 'overpowered' instead of 'overpaurd' 😅

The only thing missing at the end of this video would have been a remote self destruct of the base that destroys everything and everyone in it. I can just imagine you guys bolting out at the end like you did to then turn around, flip the switch on the detonator and BOOM! P.S love your content, I can't play Multiplayer titles like this due to woeful internet in the sticks. So watching content like yours is the only way I can enjoy these type of games.
