The new ikelos smg is arguably the best smg in the game wallah. Keep an eye out for it. 24 meters, craftable, and you can have killing wind and rangefinder. Beautiful

It’s actually not 24 meters gunsmith hasn’t accounted for the seraph rounds nerf it’s like 22 but still looks solid
i should mention that pulse dexterity is on the artifact this season, so you can get that handling up pretty easily at least for this season
That’s epic actually if you have some of the dungeon armour you could slot an extra one (sucks it’s not a permanent fix tho)

A part of me feels like people are being too hard on this gun. This gun isn't really set up for Run'N'Gun and feels more like a lane holder, which it does pretty well.
I remember reading that the philosophy behind ritual weapons are that they're meant to be at least serviceable, but not best in slot and I think this weapon is more than serviceable for what it brings.
Kinda wish it had Steady Hands instead of Tunnel Vision though, can't lie...

Yeah and they typically have a better random roll weapon of the same archetype available in the same season as the ritual. No idea if the Disparity is good yet, have to unlock it for crafting and mess with it asap.
It has a heck of a lot of Handling than Veles though, that's for sure.
Good call about lane holding, I guess you have to hardscope a bit with it (not sure if the term applies to non-sniper rifles).
@@cykeok3525 Disparity can roll No Distractions, so you can definitely camp and hardscope with it while heavily resisting incoming flinch. It also rolls Frenzy for those drawn out PVP engagements like if you're scoping the swamp on Dysjunction, which will eventually boost your damage and handling.
Maybe N.D/Frenzy is a roll to look into if you're a campfire gamer.

bruh gyrfalcon rework, repulsor brace, kill clip after every kill you gain an overshield and go invisible, plus you get kill clip along with more volatile
i always felt that aggressive frames were really underrated. im glad theyre introducing more of them since they have some good ttk if you get kill clip on it. the new pulse from this season, disparity, can roll desperado and kill clip in the 4th column. i used sacred provenance before this and it slaps, i think thats one of the only good weapons from garden besides omniscient eye. insidious is aggressive too but it cant really roll much in the 4th column besides pve perks, rampage could be an exception but its hard to use. rapid hit is probably my favorite perk by far so im glad they add rapid hit to most aggressive frames.

You wouldn't wanna use counterbalance anyway. Having the recoil direction end in a 5 makes it essentially vertical. Putting it to 89 would make it bounce to one side or the other

love you bro but 74 recoil direction is better than 89. any recoil direction that ends with a 5 and isn't too low like 55 is generally more vertical and consistent.
Vertical for sure, consistent absolutely not. 89 is more consistent than 74 since the recoil cone is narrower. Consistently tilted but still more consistent.

you do NOT want to use counterbalance, it will make the recoil worse. it's already 74 which is more vertical than 89

Thats gotta be the cleanest looking gun model they've put out in awhile. Its so small and takes up so little of your screen. Later in the season it'll probably synergize well with gyrfalcon's and volatile rounds but that handling really gives it a handicap right out of the gate. I'm really looking forward to getting all my red borders for disparity though since I actually love this type of pulse.
You probably know by now, but this gun is amazing in pve with gyrfalcon's. Beautiful gun. I'm in love with it. I also really like aggressive frames in general.

imma sound like a nerd but thats the point of the ritual weapon, it’ll never be a 5/5 which sucks ass (the only outlier is salvager’s and maybe that shotty)
Season 15's Ascendency rocket is also a 5/5 for PvE

I use the CB mod on this no problem. I really enjoy this thing... the weapon model looks so nice on the screen, and the sight is simple and unobtrusive. Feels very good in PvE too. I have been rolling void hunter for years and Golden Tricorn pairs perfectly with my normal build, so this thing is a win in my book. Cheers.

I've gone so long now without taking off ophidians i just subconsciously add +35 handling to any gun i look at. I was over here thinking yeah 63 is a little on the low side... but it's not that bad. LOL.

this thing will truly be insane in PvE once the gyrfalcons changes come through. volatile rounds after invis, damage from golden tricorn and gyrfalcons finisher, overshield from repulsor brace and gyrfalcons finisher. should be a lot of fun

Oh cmooooooon. It’s an aggressive frame it’s not like your gonna need to quickly pull this out to fight an smg or sidearm. Having slow handling on an aggressive frame is probably the best problem IMO
It’s got probably the sleekest least distracting pulse gun model in the entire game

Bungie said it themselves that ritual weapons will be a 4/5 god roll. Dealt wish it had steady rounds. That's why I'm aiming to craft Disparity which is this but stasis.
The seasonal 4 burst pulse can get headseaker (which was buffed this season) or desperado

anti barrier pulse is in the artifact and if you put that together with the hakke origin trait you melt through barricades.
The sound tho, I love it..
Repulsor Brace + Golden Tricorn is pretty nutty for PvE on something like a void warlock with constraverse hold. +50% more damage from Golden Tricorn, infinite grenades, and if you use the weaken grenade fragment (which you should be) it will proc repulsor brace, giving you a beefy overshield (overshields were buffed in PvE this season)
Also pulse rifles are in the artifact this season
yeah seems like a really good combo. as a warlock, not sure how much an overshield is needed tho tbh. Devour pretty much has 24/7 uptime anyway
Void overshields weren't buffed in pve btw they just were fixed.
This is the weapon i chase this season for pve. as addition you can also put font of might or high energy fire combine with void fragment that gives volatile for hefty damage buff. I still dont have it so we have to see if the damage buff really stack with the mods and golden tricorn, but if it does it should deal lot damage
Volatile rounds not only gives you extra damage/aoe but it too will help proc repulsor brace alongside weaken
It was pinnacle at first, then ritual, now it's pursuit
Tbh saying that it’s close to perfect is probably really good balance by bungie- they did say they wanted pinnacles to be the 4/5 god roll so- I’m down with it

Bungie has said the purpose of these ritual weapons is not to be perfect, but to be a decent middle ground. Kinda a starter weapon, but a perfect random roll is supposed to outperform them.

stay away from counterbalance stock. with recoils direction you want that weapon stat to end in a 5 or close to it. adding on counterbalance will end that stat in a 9, giving it horrible recoil.

You don’t need full auto retrofit anymore it’s in gameplay settings I believe
If u buy it from collections, i has a stability mw instead of hd
Feel like people (to an extent you as well) are knocking on it too hard. None of the aggressive pulses have good handling, as that's the tradeoff for having such a hard hitting pulse. Being 74 means it's more centered than not, while putting a CB mod on makes it lean a good bit right albeit with less bounce.
If you're really looking for a solid (but niche) example of how to abuse this, wait till the Gyrfalcon change hits next reset and use Repulsor Brace. Volatile will be disgusting with this and Golden Tricorn.

I don't know why people think ritual guns are supposed to be "BIS" weapons like old pinnacle weapons. They're meant to be more unique than the average world drop and serve a purpose, not to be the best in every situation like killing the fastest, having no recoil, good zoom, and high handling (which this weapon struggles with). Not hating just putting it out there. Loved the gameplay :).

3:17. Actually I tested this. Shotguns retain full accuracy when airborne. So depending on your frame, it’s gonna fire I’m that shape no matter how much airborne you have. Very broken not gonna lie. Especially if you are a hunter and pair forgiveness with mechaneers, you just have 100 AE at almost all times
Full auto setting is bugged rn on pulses anyway, on console at least. To where it will just stop firing and it messes up alot of fights
74 recoil is better than 89. Everything that ends on a 5 is more vertical.
Ritual weapons like this are supposed to be top tier options, which are never the #1.
So... I feel like this is an example of them doing a good job with that. There's better aggressive pulses out there, and you can get rolls without trash handling.
But it's still a solid gun.

I keep thinking about grabbing Ophidians when I use this BUT! If I was to then switch over to Hunter or Titan, I guess as mentioned there is Dragons Shadow but then you're definitely losing out with other Exotic options that are arguably better.
They really should have put arrowhead brake on this thing.
The recoil direction is 74 that’s really good. Counter balance would bring it to 89 which would be worse. That’s a very solid roll
yeah I don't think wallah knows what hes talking about here lol. Every 4 burst pulse has bad handling on purpose and a counterbalance mod would make the recoil kick to the side more.

Don't put counter balance mod on this gun, recoil direction ending on 5 (or close to 5) is vertical and it has 74 at base.
By using CB you get 89 you get an extremely horizontal recoil

yeah and yeah. Wallah fr just be super cracked at the game but is blaming the wrong things. the aggressive 4 bursts just inherently have a ton of recoil, the recoil direction isn't the issue. I got like 7k kills on a sacred provenance and the difference between having rapid hit active and without is staggering. It's just an archetype that's hard to hit 2 bursts with
