thank you for another tutorial! i followed your first one but found that i got a bit confused with the sewing part for the top so mine still ended up a little bulky. glad to say i understood it better in this tutorial. perfect timing with the turn of the weather too, excited to give it another shot!
I'm a beginner crocheter and your video was soooo helpful!! I was wondering if there was a way to avoid the bulking at the top while crocheting this beanie with slip stitches? I can't really figure out a way...
That's a great idea! I did think about adding them, maybe do two after the single crochet? Ngl I don’t tend to have the problem of my hat being bulky at the top but adding those might help. Let me know if you try it 🥰
hi there! this was my first project in a while so I was quite rusty. I've done my first 4 rows but I can tell my first one was WAY too tight, i think that is causing it to be kind of banana shaped instead of a straight rectangle. i'm curious if this sort of thing will work itself out (with blocking?) once the hat is done or if you recommend starting the project over?
@@divynecrochet thank you! i did end up starting over and it's way better. I have one more clarifying question, when you get to the end of the double crochet end and you chain 2 and say "skip the one you came out of and then start again" you mean skip the 2nd chain and go into that first chain (of the chain 2), right? or do you chain 2, skip both of those chain stitches and start again into the last double crochet from the prior row? ... i guess another way to ask this is are those 2 chain stitches for turning or are you putting a double crochet into (one or both of) them?

Thats what i like to hear! I learnt since then not to use black 😂 hope it all goes well :)
Hi! i just finished mine today, this was soooo helpful, thank you so much!! :)
I am in the US and wondering what weight yarn you used and what hook. Im a beginner ik you said a 3mm hook but not sure about yarn.
I just finished my hat. The sewing method is perfect, the seam is completely invisible on the right side. Thank you for the tutorial!
You are so welcome! Glad you enjoyed it!

thank you for the tutorial! i have 50g (around 90m) yarn and i’m not sure it’s going to be enough, how much did you use?
I used 65g, but i have quite a big head 😂

As long as it all stretches to an even length i think you should be okay :)

hi i'm making it as a gift for someone and don't know how many chains to do
I think i did 45 :)
@divynecrochet How many cm was your 45 stitches? I'm not sure if I might need to add more for a bigger head
Not so beginner friendly
Which part?
