I grew up in a dirty household. Not even messy. But dirty. My parents were always yelling at us for being messy. Seeing it from an adult perspective- it’s so bizarre to expect from a child to be organised when you grow up in environment like this. My mom always chased career. She is now single in her mid 60 and I can’t tell she’s happy. I chose different path. I was raised by two atheists and I am slowly learning how wrong they were. A lot of things I naturally tend to I find are in Bible. Thanks to channels like yours I can actually learn how to be a good homemaker because it’s not naturally in me, I have to really be very intentional about it. But love it! God is good🥰

I’ve always kept a very tidy, clean, organized home, but then I got tired of cleaning while running a business and being in school, so I hired a housekeeper and a cleaning service. I don’t think a women needs to keep the home all by themselves--Especially if you work. Get help, even the Proverbs 31 woman had ‘helperS’. Love the video btw.

I've been married for almost 10 years and just this year I got serious about figuring out why I get lazy with my home making. I doscovered that eating a high carb high sugar breakfast makes me want to go back to sleep or stay on the couch all morning, so now I skip breakfast altogether or I eat a high protein/fiber breakfast, and that keeps me going all morning. Also, staying up late the night before is THE worst thing to you can do to yourself. I still fail here and there, but the days I control media consuption before bed are the days I am the most productive.
I also discovered the flylady system and it has made home making more fun and manageble.

I love this conversation, but I must say this is a whole different ball game when you're homeschooling and the kids are home 24/7. I know many homeschooling moms with "unkept" homes because they are prioritizing teaching their children, taking them on field trips, feeding them good meals, doing community work, and having enough energy left over to spend time with their husbands. It's not always about character but what the family has decided they value most. Sometimes, we make the mistake of looking at things as if they can only be black or white. That's a problem. A messy home doesn't always equate to poor character traits any more than a pristine home automatically equates to good character traits. I've seen hateful and judgemental women with the most pristine of homes. Let's not forget what the Word says, which demonstrates that "housework can sometimes be a distraction from more important things." We should all ask the Lord what we should turn our attention to each day, rather than assuming it's always housework. Sometimes it's not.
"As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, 'Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!'
'Martha, Martha,' the Lord answered, 'you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed-or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.'" Luke 10 38-42

    • @YesitsShan
      @YesitsShan 2 ปีที่แล้ว +154

I thought of these same scriptures! Martha missed the message because she was so focused on preparing the home. Sometimes you have to be still and make time to listen to God and/or spend time with family. Sometimes those dishes or laundry have to wait!

A woman definitely makes a house a home, but a home in disarray is sometimes a sign of mental instability. If it’s their mess, they may be depressed or just overwhelmed. But regardless of whose mess it is, living in chaos will destabilize you. I keep a neat, clean home primarily because chaos is stifling. I just don’t function well because it’s daunting. But to clean it up, just focus on one space at a time or one room if you can handle that. And ask for help when you need help. Don’t suffer in silence and don’t ignore it because it won’t go away. It’ll actually get worse.

YES-I detest clutter so my home isn't cluttered. The things I chose to have are things that have meaning or I really like, but there aren't a lot of them. People come into the house and remark on how clean my home is; I have to shake my head because it's NOT super clean-my baseboards could probably use a dust, my washing machine and dryer could be wiped down, closet shelves dusted and reorganized, etc. BUT not having a lot of things all over the place makes it easy to manage what I do have and makes the home appear much neater. Everything has a purpose and a place in my house because if it didn't, it wouldn't be there :) Minimalism has helped me enormously in keeping a neat home.

If only I read decluttering at the speed of Life earlier. If someone could have taught me that my problem was I had more than I could manage. I also didn't know how to get rid of stuff. I have a low clutter threshold. Which means I can't maintain as much as most women. But scaling down on stuff to what I could/ can manage is the game changer.

Want to put this out there for anyone in similar workaholic, professional shoes:
I found homemaking to be very difficult.
We had a small infant and I was pregnant again when I finally had to resign. CLEARLY it was our priority for me to stay home, but I also felt so out of place. Felt I wasn't able to justify my time with productivity markers I had always set myself. Really felt like a failure.
Husband always said happy kids was greatest measure, but just seemed like a well meaning platitude.
Nearly all of friends returned to work within months of babies, said not cut out for being home, etc... Did some soul searching. Why did I feel so uncomfortable being home doing household chores and just caring for our baby, singing and rocking? Seemed wasteful and lazy.
You know what I discovered was the common denominator with all friends and especially for myself? Not comfortable at home because never allowed to BE home. Whole childhood was daycare.
When I aged out of daycare, started working after school. Home was only transition between work and school.
I don't want that for my kids. Building healthy people is hard work, and I had to accept it felt unnatural for me. Working harder at something foreign to me to become an expert was my new challenge. Called myself a fake homemaker, faking it until making it.
I persevered because I wanted it to be natural for my kids. We had more. God gave us a happy home, glorious marriage, wholesome children.
I made a lot more money than my husband- it took a lot of faith to take the leap. All these sacrifices to believe God and follow His wisdom has repaid an immeasurable reward for our faith.
Hoping to encourage any.other couples facing the same early difficulties we had, especially when our lovely church ladies encouraged me back to work many times using my discomfort in homemaking and successful career as a sign from God that I shouldn't be home.
(They weren't home with their kids growing up so they were quite uncomfortable with my journey to do what I "know" is right rather than trusting my "feelings" as a spiritual guide). Any couples facing the same lonely road, consider (as we did) that no one can ever prove God wrong. He said women are to be keepers of the home, and Prov 31 is our guide. Often wonder why divorce stats are same with Christians and Secular. I think they are following the same life/game/goal plan -as we had before u-turn. Go back to design and get heavenly results. 👍

      PREACH IT!!! 🤍🤍🤍
LOVED that you mentioned and emphasized we can not rely on our feelings, because The heart is deceitful, who can know it?
Sometimes the FLESH is gonna make us feel some type of way about God's design/direction because the flesh is against the Spirit.
Important to seek the Lord's guidance in everything and to pray for a change of heart to meet HIM. Not the other way around. We are to be aligned with Him and His ways 💗

This works for some. But women work as hard as men these days and that extra income is needed for lot of families. In saying that, working 40 hours a week, caring for the kids, and being completely responsible for the house can be challenging. So unfortunately things aren’t always in place or as organized as she is stating here. So ladies don’t feel bad if you have a day where you just can’t get every thing done.

I’m a mother of *7* plus a full time ministry. Our life is always on the move and kept busy. We homeschool all while making preparations for the body daily. I have had many moments of weaknesses in my walk and I’ve used those weaknesses against myself, against my household. Stepping back I can see how my home is a reflection. It’s also reflected how my children take care of themselves as well. I always think about proverbs 31 and what it was to bring your husband harm instead of honor. I asked God if I brought harm to mine…
God spoke to me that day and said “the harm is when he has no clothes for work within the week. The harm is when dinner is not ready after a long filled working day.” The list goes on. I have cried over this understanding, yet I’ve done nothing in consistency to assure anyone that I’m dependable in these areas… I remember always saying “I do not have enough time.” But tbh I could have had plenty. Had I put down my devices, had I cast down emotions, had I not stalled or procrastinated. Had I prayed more often. We all have time. We know this in the back of our minds. The excuse comes not from flesh and blood.
We are offended because it messes with our complacency. The word of God is living and active. Sharper then any double edge sword. Piercing through spirit and body, bone and marrow. Discerning every intention of the heart and mind…. We know, we comment excuses but we ourselves know.
Sister! Be encouraged! This will not come back to the Almighty void, even if no one else hears you, I HEAR YOU! GOD HEARS YOU! loud and clear. I receive and ask that you pray for us as a whole. My name is DeAnna. My husbands is Jose. Our kids from biggest to smallest: Izabella, Angelynn, Jose jr, Matthew, Rosabella, Zaralynn, and Julius. 13-5. Pray that this household unifies according to the knowledge of Christ Jesus. I make no excuses this day, God is my main priority today and henceforth not anything else as it has been prior, anyone reading and praying for us is a witness Abba Father, please help them reflect on themselves because you’ve said it is not only our interests we should be looking out for but for others. Lord when people walk into my home, they are blinded and can not see your light because I have neglected what you have called me for, our purpose was not ever intended to live out for us, but for “others” by “your” great will. I know society is offended by your Truth, but you have already told us this that we may know in advance. I pray you not only soften the hearts of those in the comment section, watching, or listening to this daughter of yours speak what’s been given but also prick the very nature that refuses to self reflect and put You first. In Jesus name, Amen.

I used to be very diligent with housework before having children. Not to blame them, but I tend to put their needs before housekeeping to a certain extent. If I were to keep the home the way I want it, my children would be neglected I believe. Because they are homeschooled, I can’t be cleaning all day, which is what it would take for the house to be clean and orderly. So it’s a very tricky balance and honestly the hardest one for me as a mother/wife. Because in order to function in a home it must be clean and organized! It’s exhausting lol😂😅 but I’m so happy to do it and to know what my role is without question. I can channel all my masculine energy into housework and then be feminine with my husband and also my children. We have to admit, it’s an art and it takes time and practice to learn, especially when we weren’t taught. Thank you Joyce for your channel. I’m learnings so much🙏🏻💜✨🌻🌷💫

Developing homemaking skills take time. Just like learning to cook, becoming a doctor, becoming a good parent, they all take time. When you walk into an elderly woman’s house, who was a homemaker for years, and it’s clean, well decorated, smells nice with delicious food cooked on time, she didn’t learn this right away! I’ve been married almost 7 years with 3 children that I homeschool, and my home only recently started to be relatively put together! It took time! I had to learn multiple skills at the same time! Like Bindi said, pray for guidance and learn these skills. My husband and I also struggled for a while on who does what, overtime we realized what our roles are, and even though I am in graduate school, we both came to an understanding that my role is not to provide and that I open a clinical practice part time until our children are adults unless circumstances dictate otherwise. Even then, if I feel overwhelmed I may continue to do it part time. My husband understands his role is to provide and he “helps” with housekeeping when he has time and energy from his demanding job.
However, I do feel for women who have to work because their able bodied husbands don’t want to or cannot work and are still expecting to have to do all the cleaning and caretaking of children. It’s even worse when the man makes less money which I see often as well! In these cases, I think having tough conversations on who does what is warranted, so that there is no confusion and worse yet, resentment. For women who are not married yet, be careful who you marry or you may end up in a marriage where you are doing everything!

I agree. I am blessed to work as a registered nurse on the weekends so I help contribute good income into the house as well as have the time to manage the home during the week. My husband works long hours and takes care of the yard and cars but I still know my place is to keep my home and children kept well. It’s the best feeling to know my husband is coming home to a clean house, well behaved kids, and a home cooked meal. I take pride it in. I also get great rewards from my career in particular because I am doing Gods work as well by the care of my patients.

One thing my mother always stressed growing up was the idea that If your home is in chaos, then your life is in chaos. A clean, peaceful home reflects a clean peaceful mind. I didn't buy that at all until I became an adult and lived on my own for the first time. I definitely understand and am grateful for that piece of wisdom now. My grandmothers also had welcoming and well kept homes, and they taught the value of resting when tired because they had to work hard when they're bodies allowed. All of them worked outside and inside the home. These traits were important to them because they understand the value of what they were doing.

I'm 43. Second marriage, homeschooling a 7 year old. The opening line about not caring for the upkeep of your home being a character flaw stopped me there. I didn't have time to listen to the rest but pondered that for a week or more. Some things I did in the early stages of home life, I'm not doing anymore. Why? What has replaced the upkeep of my home. Not all of it is homeschooling. Taking my phone to the bathroom and getting lost in mindless FB, visiting when maybe I should go to the grocery store. How is that more important than my family's comfort? And with elderly grandparents- you see how the upkeep fails because they are old and physically unable. What will my house look like at this rate? You can't to it all but you'd be surprised to see what you can do when you care. I found this video inspiring, having sound guidance. God will meet you where you are, don't let your ideals get in the way of what God wants for you, just have a little faith and see where it will take you.

I've read most of the comments and I get both perspectives. We do live in a day & time where two income households are a necessity. I am a wife & mother & I do work full-time outside of the home, while pursuing a higher education. Sometimes my home do ho lacking as far as cleanliness & organization just because I can't do it all everyday. So I get the lack of time sometimes we have because of these outside pursuits. But my home must be a place of peace & sanctuary & I have to maintain some form of order & cleanliness. So for me my weekends are when I'm most free so I'll get up early Saturday morning turn my music on (gospel or r&b) & get in a zone because I don't know how to function in chaos & disorder. So I would tell the ladies to figure out what works for you because God will bless your efforts knowing that we all fall short at times. But be intentional!!!🙏🏽

This was really good and thought provoking. I keep a tidy/clean home because it keeps me sane (tidy house, tidy mind), but I've often felt guilty/self-conscious about it because everyone seems so surprised that a homeschooling mom with 4 kids under age 7 can have a tidy house. :) I've asked my husband if I should just keep it messier so that others feel more at ease! I got married late and did have a career for 10 years, so now I see homemaking as my job and something I should strive to be a "professional" at.
Something that has really helped keep our house tidy has been teaching the kiddos from the earliest age to appreciate being clean and tidy. For example, no one leaves the kitchen without having hands and face wiped up...which means their clothes and our furniture don't have food stains. Just an example. If the kids are taught to prefer tidiness themselves, over time there's much less for mama to keep up with!

I am embarrassed by the attitude that has crept in that started as just ignorance on how to manage my home and I'm afraid has morphed into laziness. Thank you for teaching me again the Biblical truth that this is my role, God is able to transform my mind, and that he has placed Christian examples in my pathway so I can learn homemaking vs housework. I almost don't know how to start....its hard for me to work small(see results) when so much in my home is out of control and I want it all fixed right away. (4:27) I agree, it’s a VALUE problem. And often we are taught what to value over what in the home we grew up in as you mentioned.
I grew up being “told” to tidy up my room, but I also grew up constantly hearing my mother complain about doing any household work. Chores felt like they were passed off to me as “gross” rather than as an opportunity to grow and a privilege to take on responsibility. I was also only awarded attention/affection/encouragement when I “accomplished” in academics or improved the family reputation somehow. In contrast, I was only made to feel inadequate about my organization skills and completed tasks at home were overlooked.
Eventually I accepted that “I’m just not an organized person…” & “Household chores are an unpleasant and necessary evil that earns me nothing…”which I know are lies from the enemy. I’m now trying to unlearn these lies that have made me so unmotivated to maintain organization in my home.
Though I have an intense desire to keep things organized, I do sense there is much hurt in this area that keeps me stuck in this cycle. I will be praying for some serious healing to overcome these pain points.

This video is encouraging to me despite my ADHD. I’m not as low functioning as others with ADHD. But with all of my mental health research I have a new perspective on the word laziness. Yes sometimes we just want to relax, but a lot of times there’s a reason why we’re having a hard time getting up and starting on the house. ADHD isn’t an excuse. But it’s a real issue inside your brain that you can’t help. Communicating all of this to my husband has helped us both. He has more grace for me. I don’t judge others, as most are forced to work around the clock, just to eat! My own best friend, Whois great Mom, loves working , alongside raising her children. She waited for them to all be in school, but she is bored, does not enjoy homemaking! I feel blessed to be pleased with the simple things in life💜

I appreciate this dialogue and I feel like it needs to be had more. I can’t count how many times that people in my life have said how I need more and that it is somehow wrong to depend on my husband to support me and our children. I don’t feel demeaned working in the home, raising and instructing my children, and yes even catering to my husband’s need.
Equally I do find that there are times when laziness creeps in and I just don’t wanna…..and yes my home suffers. There is the mindset of treating it as a paid job because home-making is WORK

The greatest thing I have witnessed as a young lady is seeing a couple that worked together in building their home. They both work outside the home, they both cook, do laundry, do dishes, clean up the house… they help each other and live in peace and harmony with each other. Keeping up the home depends on all the people in the household and it’s up to both parents to establish that so kids also grow up knowing it’s their responsibility as well to keep the household clean and intact

I respect your perspective soooooo much. I actually grew up with a mother who was a great home maker. But she didn't have a man who was a provider. Don't get me wrong he was a small business owner and made money but she still had to pay the bills and do the chores and take care of the kids. And I grew resentful of it. And I always saw marriage as. A burden to women because I saw this pattern over and over. And I promised that would never be me. I refused to be traditional for an untraditional man. However I really want to improve in this area. Especially for GOD. And. You have changed my perspective. Thank you

One thing that helped me ENORMOUSLY was reading the Minimalism blogs-Be More with Less, Becoming Minimalist, etc. It changed my perspective entirely and so the only items I kept were things that had meaning, were beautiful or served a purpose. We often fill our homes with clutter and crap we think we're supposed to have, but that's just buying into the consumerism lie/trap. Believe me, you don't need all the things that you have-you just THINK you do... Giving those things to people who aren't able to afford furnishings for their homes will also bless YOU in the long run. I love that my home is ordered, calm, restful and easy to keep organized because I just don't have that much to organize anymore. I firmly believe that people's homes reflect their mental states; my mind and life was chaotic, disorganized, unsettled. AFTER paring down the items, furniture, clothing in my home, I felt like I had a better handle on my life and it calmed down my mind, spirit and body. Seeing the benefits that came from that enabled me to make other much needed cuts in my life (relationships). What also motivated me was knowing that God blessed me with a beautiful home; the least I can do is to be a good steward of it AND that I wanted a home that reflected Him, not a love of the world with all of its latest, trendy decor/trappings.

Reading a lot of the comments; and I'm seeing a lot of complaining.
Though I don't have the cleanest house and I'm certainly not the best cook in the neighborhood; this video gave me validation, not condemnation. I listened to all the "poor character reasons" and I realized that though yeah, we all have our days when we don't want to do the laundry or weed the garden. That in and of itself isn't necessarily a sign of poor character though.
I'm a single mom, service connected disabled veteran with a mobility impairment. My husband committed suicide because his mistress broke up with him. I have a developmentally disabled 20 year old son with epilepsy. We have a house to live in because of both God's providence, as well as the labor I put into it. We live in a Habitat for Humanity house. I helped put this house together. I've taken care of this house. "Loved" it, painted the walls, care for the flowers, fixed the sinks, toilets and shower. I've even fixed stuff on my car.
My son has said on more than one occasion that I'm "both mom and dad".
I'm also a very creative person and I have many projects to finish simply because I have a lot of "squirrel (OO) moments". Somehow the projects get done though; and my son gets his meds, his therapies and to the doctor.
There are times when I'm really tired and I sit down and stumble across TH-cam videos like this one.
So for any of the sisters out there who hear this story loud and clear: (as well as the single dads) there is the promise of hope God gives us!

I thrive more in a very tidy orderly home, it helps my focus and temperament. I am recently married, less than two years, and am older, I got married at 41. I felt the Lord trained me for years to keep a clean home. Now I attempt to do this with my husbad and his two teenagers, and it feels like I'm constantly worked against. My husband doesn't want things to be put away, if I move, or tidy things up, it stresses him out! To me the home is junky with things everywhere. It's embarrassing because I have thought a home is a reflection on me. This is a real struggle for me. And unfortunately the disarray of things impacts my mind and mood. 😔

The Bible tells us to be homemakers. Be busy at home. Too many women are depending on their own strength to get things done. The Lord is my strength. I have 5 children and I homeschool, cook meals and all of that and the house is still cleaned. It reflects the woman. Women should naturally want to be clean and have a clean environment. Like Pastor always tells a man if he is going to date a woman "see if her car is clean. If it's dirty and she can ride around in that that's how your house is going to look." Get your houses in order ladies.

This was so good to see. I am grateful for the “mothers” in the church teaching me how to clean, cook and carry me beyond want my lovely mother was able to do. I am a witness where you can work and take good care of your home. In the early stages of my learning proper housekeeping Holy Spirit once asked me, “Can you imagine heaven looking like this house?” I was so convicted. I reached out to the ladies in my church and without judgement, they came in and showed me what to do! To this day, I am thankful. Keeping your home clean is one more place to honor the Lord. One more thing, I’ve learned in ministry over the years, demons LOVE filth.

Yes, today we must survive in a two income household at times, but even though we must work as women- the home is still our God given responsibility and it is up to us to withhold. It’s harder now than ever before, that’s true, but God’s word never changes and so we must work harder as women.

Hi Bindi.. I just wanted to thank you for this video. It has been one of the most calming takes on this topic and it doesn't feel judgemental at all. I'm an 18 year old female in her first year of college and my family isn't the best right now. My mom has been taking care of us and trying her best to support us financially and my Dad (up until two weeks ago) had been doing nothing but just sitting around at home (right now he's at his brother's house and we probably won't go back to the way things were). I keep trying to come up with plans and improve my art skills so that I can help ease my mom and also help myself pay for my fees but it often leads me down a spiral making me forget that I should also learn the duties around the house. I think the problem is not knowing how to be carrier oriented and still be feminine because I never saw my mom work outside the house. As much as I went to school and I'm currently in university, I just don't seem to be able to work on my talents in order to earn a living without feeling like "I'm supposed to be a dependent" or "I'm not even going to do this if I were to get married so what is the point". I'm also not the "girly girl" so I often have moments crying about why I was made this way and why I have these interests when it all seems pointless anyways. I know it's probably not pointless but I can't seem to understand it any other way. I know that I can do better everyday but with these thoughts at the back of my head I just end up doing nothing. I just watch things happen with regret without taking action. But hopefully I will start to get better in all aspects, especially my relationship with God. Anyways I just wanted to let it out and I hope everyone can have a blessed week.✌🏾

Balance is also key it is good to be well rounded in all things because even when you do get married, you don’t know when that will be and you will still have to work and provide for yourselves at those time. All those that are skills that will help you and your future home. Sitting down worry and having anxiety will lead you to do nothing and the Bible says that fear leads to poverty. So in all things seek the Lord first, do all that you can and remember to rest when needed. Hope this helps hun

I have to say… I agree with this beautiful sister. I never seen it as she describes it, but God had already started ordering my steps as I build my relationship with him. . It became common sense to me, as I was already practicing this. Even as a single parent, working 40+ hours, my house was in a descent order. My mother always told me about having a clean home… at least making my bed lol. So when God started putting this in my heart, it was just confirmation and I believe this reflects not only us but teaches discipline in our children just by being that role model. Good word sister…

To Sarai Day, we both are currently teachers. When we first moved, I was home working on some college classes, but my schedule was more flexible and I did the bulk of the cleaning, cooking, etc. But whenever I am working full-time, my husband shares the load equally. He says, "You're helping me in my responsibility, so I'm helping in yours." We don't divvy up anything officially, but we both take care of whatever needs to be done. And if we are both wiped out, we order pizza and leave the work for another day. We both practice gratitude and regularly appreciate each other verbally for daily contributions (ie he makes ramen and I say, "Thank you! It was delicious!).

First video of yours I’ve ever seen. I never expected to hear of another black woman also reading this book. It’s taken me a while to get through it because it’s packed with good concepts. I’m glad the algorithm brought me to this. I look forward to your other videos.

    I love you.
I haven’t watched the entire video yet, but I have to say I love your message.
I’ve always been a messy disorganized woman. Not gross, stinky messy, but cluttered. Piled laundry. Dishes needing done, bed never made. I didn’t see this as a big deal. I always worked full time. I was into fitness. I did take care of the yard. I just saw the home as a pain in the butt, and I didn’t enjoy it. It seemed unimportant, and an old fashioned idea.
Fast forward years later…….I’m now in my 50’s. My husband and I have divorced. We are now back together, but not married. My girls are adults, and slobs.
I think about all the things I didn’t teach them by not keeping the house clean, and not teaching them to keep the house clean. I didn’t teach them self sufficiency. I missed teachable moments that build confidence. I think it goes deeper than anyone could ever imagine.
I never meant to be disrespectful to my family. I thought I was great! I couldn’t see what the outcome would be, and how important these basic things are.
Now older, I want my life to be simpler, and more meaningful. As I explore the life I want, it goes back to what should have been there all along. My home, and my family. Creating a comfortable home. Caring for my home. It seems to simple to be true, but it is true!
One piece of advice I give to women….you don’t need a lot. The world tells us we need a big house full of all kinds of stuff! No we don’t. I have gotten rid of truck loads of “stuff” after my divorce. It was eye opening. It’s just stuff! It’s a stealer of time, space, and money! Like many women, part of my problem was I was over whelmed by my stuff, and I didn’t realize I could get rid of it all. My stuff was not part of me.
I have very little furnishings now, and only a few of my favorite things. Keeping house is not only possible, it’s enjoyable! Oh how I wish I understood this when my girls were little.
Going forward, I want a simple, clean home that I take care of to take care of my husband. I want a life of peace that I share with God.
Thank you for your video. It is the truth in an upside down world. ❤

She wasn't doing it all at once, she did different things at different points of her life. She wasn't worrying about business with small children underfoot, and yes, she did have servants.

This is a wonderful video guiding women to lean on the Lord in our struggles. Many many women, including myself, struggle with issues such as pms, menopausal hormonal issues, severe insomnia for decades, wayward children, scatterbrain tendencies, different chronic health conditions in the family, living with extended family such as in laws, which can all have a very big impact on routine and organisation in the home. As a mostly stay at home mum some of these have impacted me greatly and the guilt of not being the perfect proverbs 31 women over the many years has overwhelmed me immensely not to mention severe homesickness as I’m originally from the U.K.. but this vlog has really helped me understand that I can go to the Lord with the hope that one day I can achieve a much more organised home for my family with prayer and positive intention. Perhaps you can please do vlogs on how to navigate such issues families face in order to create a more balanced home environment Thankyou and God bless

I was recommended this video and I'm seeing that as a blessing. I'm a new mom and this spoke to me. I don't mind receiving a message that makes me say ouch when it will help me in the long run. I'm subscribing and need to purchase the book. Awesome video!!
