Hi! How can i know if my Azure is really hot-swappable? Base on ChatGPT, the K6552GG is the hot-swappable variant. I got K6552 but my variant seem to be non hotswap (still not sure), i am having difficulties removing the switches and i dont wanna force it unless i am sure my variant is really hot-swappable. It is confusing because my variant includes a keycap and switch puller and the box also says that the switch are replaceable. Some people might also be confused. Thanks a lot in advance for the reply 😁
Hi. It's certainly hot-swappable, and you may need to apply some force to remove the switches. However, I can assure you the K652 is indeed moddable, hot-swappable, or whatever you'd like to call it. Just double-check with ChatGPT, as it seems there was a small typo (you mentioned the Azure K6552 instead of the K652). It's possible that ChatGPT made it up, but I've personally swapped switches in my K652 several times. Cheers.
@@FamilyPopTV Hey thank you very much! It is indeed hot-swappable. It just takes a lot of patience and a bit of force to pull it out. Much appreciated man 😁🙏

For those who don't know witch switch choose, here is a personal opinion. 1 - Red Linear This switch will be activated with pretty much no force, there is no resistance of bump when clicking what makes this switch completely different from any regular keyboard such as laptop keyboards or table keyboards. For you that wanna ONLY play this is the best option the clicks answer faster as does not have resistance neither a bump. If You want to type they're not a good option, sometimes I rest my finger at the spacebar without putting weight the action still happens and I get random Spaces. If you have a heavy hand/fingers get prepared for double clicks. 2 - Brown Tactile This is the best option, I swapped my red for these ones and the experience completely changed. This switch feels like the regular keys from any normal keyboard, you're not going to misclick a key or not bet sure if you did. This is the best option for regular use cases such as working, typing or just gaming. I understand that not having a resistance for gamming is better but 99% of us are used to use a bumpy keyboard. 3- Blue Tactile Noisy This switch is a good option for the users that want to be super sure if they clicked with a sound confirmation at every click. I don't have big opinions about it besides the noise. mechanical keyboards already make noises even if you modify so if you don't have problems with if, that might be a good option. But if you work at some place and needs to be quiet go for the brown ones. English is not my mother language and I'm not going to correct this text with software. SORRY for any grammar problems

A good call that You've given Us the battery life of the keyboard in diferent scenarios... Nowhere to be found, so a clear advantage of Your overal splendid review 🤘
@@FamilyPopTV Just one detail about that battery... Are those 14 - 26 hours just standby mode time (then it would be lame to charge it every max 2 days) or is it concrete keywhacking gaming or constant typing time? (then everyone would charge depending on the usecase scenario even after a week or so) 🤔 THX in advance 🤗
Right, I've been using it mostly at work for the first week via BT5.0 mode (been typing various documents & drafts up to 8 hours a day). So these 26 hours of my testing includes 3 days (3 days of 8 hours of consistent typing at work). This was without the RGB turned on. I reckon that it would last 14 hours if the lighting is turned on as 8 hours of typing with the lights on the max brightness depletes around half of the battery, if it makes sense. But keep in mind, everyone's pattern of use is different, so its not written in stone, that it'll last 2 days of intense use. A silly example - I use this keyboard only home now, and it easily lasts me 2 weeks+ of occasional use with the RGB lights, and I don't turn the keyboard off at all, it goes on standby automatically to save the battery. Btw. If you're not sure whether or not the battery life will meet your needs, I recommend buying it from Amazon - it has a 30-day return policy, so if you're not happy with the battery, you can simply return the keyboard for a full refund.
Hi. Bluetooth 5.0 is newer and has a longer range and faster data transfer speed than Bluetooth 3.0. So effectively you can use your keeb further away from your computer without latency or dropped connections, In general, BT 5.0 supports more devices, so you can connect multiple wireless devices to your computer, etc. In short, BT 5.0 is a better choice for keyboards than 3.0.
I noticed your RGB's went off when you switched it to Mac mode. I am having the same issue. Do you have any solution to this? I can't change any modes to static color
I just got this keyboard, but it seems like I can't lock the Fn keys with mac. Tried toggling the settings for F keys in mac but the keyboard is always stuck in the mode where they are used for multimedia. Anyone has a solution to it?
Does key code customisation (i.e., reassigning keys) actually work with the manufacturer's software? I think I have seen reviews that the software is a piece of crap and reassigning does not actually work.
Hi. I've heard some rumblings about the software not being the best and that reassigning keys can be a bit finicky. Since I'm a Mac user, the software is pretty much useless for me anyway - but I gave it a quick try on my son's PC for the review and managed to get the keys reassigned. My bad for not showing the whole process in the review. Finding good software for remapping keys on Macs is a bit of a pain, but for PC, there's a software called 'Xpadder', which can remap and reassign keys on most keyboards, including the redragon's.
@@FamilyPopTV Well, if it works. Software-based reassigning on the OS-level is meaningless for me, because what I want to customise is FN combinations like FN+F. FN is not reported to the OS.
