So happy to have found your channel. I find it so relaxing to listen to your thoughts on various perfumes that not a lot of people talk about. It’s so much better than the usual rampant consumerism of the typical influencer pushing people to buy the latest new perfume. This makes me stop and think about older, more affordable fragrances that I haven’t paid enough attention to. Many of them are already in my collection. I definitely have discovered that there are certain perfumers that I like, and I enjoy seeing how they’ve made fragrances for everyone from Chanel to Coty.
Quentin Bisch - nose behing Guidance, Delina and Ganymede (to name few) made Teriaq by Lattafa, very hyped on yt this year.

I know exactly what you mean about thr patchouli, the hippie patchouli is so so different than what is used in perfumes..not sure how it's done. My mom used to buy patchouli perfume when she was little from a man who would mix it in the shop per customer, nothing pre-made. She said it was so.pretty and when she said patchouli I pictured the hippie patchouli smell. Now I want to try the green tea scent.

I had that Paris version back in the late '70's and early '80's. Then in 1981, the original Gianni Versace for Women came out, and was my signature scent until November 2023...and I decided to save my stash and branch out. In 4 months--with a fragrance Christmas with my daughter and granddaughter--I'm now up to about 90 bottles of perfumes.
After much learning and study, my favorite perfume designer is Dominique Ropion...so now I'm backtracking and picking up his older perfumes...but I did finally find/order a bottle of Babycat. I have a couple of 5 ml vials of Vanagloria, and that will be my next full-bottle purchase.
I think 5ml is my favorite sample size.
@@MyPerfumeMap I'm enjoying the 5 ml size. It doesn't take up too much space, it is good for travel or purse, and it is enough for several wears...definitely enough to know whether you like it or not.
Honorine Blanc created one of my favorite of samples tried so far...Elizabeth James Nirvana White. And I've discovered Rodrigo Flores-Roux from sampling Artisan Pure (men's cologne but completely unisex - smells like bitter lime). Also lovely.

You just blew my mind! I had no idea Sophia Grosjman did the reformulation of Tabu! I love Tabu but I only have vintage versions. Do you know when she created the reformulation?
