Just picked this shoe up 2 days ago. I use them for long days of standing. Love the fact that Brooks made the new Adrenaline 24 softer. The support is in all the right spots. Works good for me. I had 2 pair of Adrenaline 22, had to return them because the mid sole was too firm for me. I think these will work out.
Thanks for posting this review! The adrenaline line is probably Brooks’ best shoe by far. That being said, I disagree with the fit section especially compared to the Adrenaline GTS 23. I had to size up from a 14 Wide to a 15 Wide because the 14 felt too small. It was as if I was putting on a Nike shoe with respect to how small it felt. When I went to a local shoe store who had the shoe early, an employee also mentioned that his normal size was small in the 24. It’s also strange how the adrenaline GTS 24 seems to have more toe box room than the beast GTS 24 in the same size. Very odd trade off. I would recommend trying on in store and getting a feel for how it is prior to purchasing. Hope this helps someone!
What is a replacement shoe for adrenaline GTS 23? I feel it was like running/ walking with guiderails- which worked for me. I have an arch that collapses so the medial support when needed. And I am a heel striker - with a little excess supination. The new GTS 24 do not offer the same lateral support - or maybe it is just too soft so my ankle hurts after 5 miles
I’m feeling that we’re being weaned off ‘stability’ shoes. I recently brought the current NB Vongo and I’ve honestly never felt more unstable in a shoe. I owned 2 pairs of the previous version which were great but had proper medial support. I do think the adrenaline is a great all rounder but not a true stability shoe anymore either. I also think Brooks should really lower the drop on this now. 12mm is like bring in high heals!
The Vongo v5 was very firm, like a brick on the medial side. The Vongo v6 was too soft. I got only about 50 miles out of them before the support was gone.
Hi Steve, big fan of the channel! Could you do a review of the Asics GT 2000 12? For all use cases, as an everyday/all day shoe, a walking shoe etc. Thanks!
I am an over-pronator with borderline narrow feet, flat feet and a bunion on my right foot. I run a moderately paced 5k 4 times per week for health and fitness (not for competition or speed). Do you recommend the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 24? FYI, I ran in the Brooks Adrenaline GTS for years, but dumped them after the 21 (or 22?) because they were so stiff and blah to run in. I wanted something more energetic, lighter with pop/spring and not too stiff. I felt that the Adrenaline GTS just chugged along… I’ve been running in the Saucony Tempus for a few years. I am happy ish with them, but the Adrenaline GTS 24 is intriguing. And the new Lime Green/Nightlife colorway is 🔥.
Honestly, if you are looking for a time to jump back into the Adrenaline GTS line then I would say now is the time. Brooks is starting to transition the midsole from the Glycerin/Ghost max line (their softer/more plush midsole) into the Ghost/Adrenaline while they are updating their max cushion shoes. So, if you are looking for an excuse to get back into the Adrenaline GTS line. This 24 is different enough for you to give it a shot!
Yeah, that’s what I am thinking, jump back in and give it a shot. I usually stick with one shoe. i.e., the Adrenaline GTS, but jumped ship a few years ago for the Saucony Tempus.
Great review! I need the stability adrenaline normally has. I did a fast walk in the GTS 24 and had a lot of pain in left foot arch, medial maleolus and up inside of my left lower leg. I feel the arch support wasn’t there as in previous models. What type of inserts work with these shoes ? Pls bring back the GTS 23
Wish there were more comments from actual runners here giving feedback rather than people who just buy these to walk around in! Not much use! I want to know how a running shoe performs for running in. Not how comfortable it is for people standing around all day or just walking in them! Great video though! This is just at the comments.
I may pick these up. How’s the arch support? I’ve been looking for a brooks with decent arch support to help me get through some plantar fasciitis in my right foot. Lately I’ve spent a lot of time running in the ghost max cause the wide platform has been helping me out…
Hey Steve, do you mind providing your feet length and width? Since we are mostly making buying decisions based on how the shoes feel on your feet, it'd help to know what's your feet length and width
The sales rep in a different store told me the adrenaline GTS 24 changed the drop from 12mm to 10 mm. Can you confirm? My doctor recommended the Glycerin GTS because of lower drop. The store didn’t have my size in that. He told me that Brooks was attempting to standardize or something. The Brooks website doesn’t show that the drop changed.
No experience with the 24 Adrenaline but compared to previous years adrenaline GTS that I’ve purchased over the years and some BEASTS, the Glycerin GTS are my fav. They have great support and are very soft. It’s my work out shoe and my work shoe as well. (Different pairs of course). They do it all

Great review..thanks for addressing the ability to add an orthotic for additional stability!

Thanks Steve. Like from Spain. ¡¡¡¡Happy Halloween!!!!.

Sad direction the Adrenaline is going. It’s been a staple for so long!
Is there a trail version of the previous Adrenaline or equivalent?
Would this be a good replacement for my Hoka Rincon 3? I'm not happy with Hoka Rincon 4?

Had the same experience today in the GTS 24
They still sell 23 online at many shops

Check out the new Lime Green/Nightlife color. Sick colorway!

The Adrenaline GTS 24 is still 12mm drop and the glycerin GTS a 10. But I heard this will change nest year to a lower drop
I really dislikes how much more narrow the 22s and 23s were compared to 21. Maybe I'll like 23 better.
So Adrenaline or gts glycerine?
Same question.
Me too

It’s my work out shoe and my work shoe as well. (Different pairs of course). They do it all
@@closg9309I like the glycerin GTS better than the new adrenaline
No way those stack heights are accurate?
Brooks doesn’t include insole and outsole thickness like all other companies do. The heel is in the mid 30’s.
39/27
The colorways for this shoe are awful! All the strides Brooks has made in design recently completely fell flat on this one.
I think the white/limpet, black/peach and grey/blue/peach are really nice have you seen them?
The colors aren’t bad for men’s. Brooks will drop more colors. The new limited edition Lime Green/Nightlife color is 🔥
