@RogersLawnCare yes its a good side hustle for me. I work in a God forsake factory, then hit the green afterward. Helps with whatever gets thrown my way. But hey, I'm 57, getting closer to the retirement. Stay safe, and remember to enjoy life. I remember being your age. A long time ago.
@@michaelfarris2556 I’m doing the same. I work in maintenance in a factory and mow on my days off and sometimes on the days I work depending on weather. You to and time sure does fly anymore.
I have the Maverick HD 54" with the Kawasaki, 2023 model and have almost 65 hours on it and it seems to be a great machine for the few yards i mow. Hopefully these Badboy mowers have hundreds and hundreds of problem free hours of mowing! Keep up the good work and God bless!
Just bought a Bad Boy Rebel on Monday. Did my 8hour oil change on Thursday and stripped the brass freaking 16mm hose fittting (lol). Just cut the hose and did a barbed hose extension and fixed it. Solid mower, great stripes, but really heavy. Do notice it's 200-300lb heavier than my previous mowers. Solid built, reasonable price and availability on replacement parts (did my homework before buying). This mower the exact same specs as a Bobcat 6100 for 14 grand msrp. I'll save 3-4 grand and choose this. Badboy is my new mower line going forward.
They are great mowers and have a good price. Yea the brass fitting was rough the first time I changed mine. Hope you have plenty of years with ur new mower without any issues. 👍🏻
Don't forget the grease point on the idler can't miss it under the floor pan or look from the back under the mower u will look right at it and yes gas gauge sucks i have 2 on mine and it quit working again the exposed wires just add loom to it mine are tucked better on the maverick but I've had quite a bit of issues with mine but it'll do until i get a new 1 appreciate the update 🍻 also forgot to add yes mine does the same with holding sticks grass etc in the same spots but the floor pan on mine lifts easy no handle in the way super easy to work on keep up the good work 😎😎
I’ll have to look. I looked one day but could t find one. I may be over looking. I’ll have to do something with the wires I’m afraid. Thank you for the support! 👍🏻
@RogersLawnCare yea, I didn't notice it, but now that i do, it's easy to spot, and yea just get a foot roll of conduit and cover it tape or zip tie the ends u will be good to go ur welcome appreciate the good content keep those blades turning 😅😎🍻
I just bought a ZT Elite. So far I love it. I have watched lot’s of Bad Boy videos. I never heard so many complaints “even in the pros” for a $12000 mower. 😅 I’m OCD about a mower. I’ve had a craftsman for over 20 years. For what I see in that mower. You’ll be lucky to get 10 years out of it. 🙄
It’s a solid mower I love it and when it comes down to it. I think it’ll run fine for a long time. I pretty much have to dig to find issues with mine. Cause so far nothing big has happened yet knock on wood. Anything can really happen to any mower. Heck the new scags are having a lot of issues I reckon. Hope ur ZT elite works out great for u man.
Yea I just have stayed away from some yards due to the amount of really steep hills. Sometimes it does really well then other times it just slides on down em. I think the hydraulics could use upgrade. The mower is just really heavy I think and it’s too much for them. 👍🏻
@@TirobioBall honestly not 100% for sure but I can without a doubt say I like my mower better than the exmark. I’ve rode exmark for multiple days mowing and I like mine better. I can’t talk a big difference in mowing hills or cut quality. They both ride smooth also. I think the bad boys look built tougher. Just really comes down to what you want and price point. Embark are definitely more expensive but I say that’s just because of the name.
Yea I hate those gas gauges I had those on my old snapper pros and they will break over time they are junk. I got a toro z master now and it only has a clear sight at the bottom of tank that sucks also. U have to park in the shade to be able to see how much gas u got left.
Brought 24 model 31 hp EFI had 2 hrs rip the rear bumper guard off. The one thing so far I hate it deck height adjustment knob moves on it own if you have move deck up from scape the yard drop the height won’t know till it’s to late.
@@RogersLawnCare I don’t want my Maverick. It has a little bit of resistance and it locks in. But on this rebel, it’s just free spending when you have the deck in the lock position.
@@RogersLawnCare on my very 1st yard that I cut with it. I didn’t realize it did that and the deck dropped down to 2 inches didn’t really notice it at first because the grass was extremely tall. But after half the yard, I started to notice it was stolen out way more grass than it should and I looked over and saw where it was sitting on. I was confused of how it even got down to 2 inches, cause I know I did not touch the deck knob
I actually really like the mowers and I’ll stand by them. I’m actually looking to get one of the revolts. If not that then I would go with the new scag xl v ride just because the dealer is really close to me.
@@RogersLawnCare Thank you , I’m ordering a BB Rebel 31 hp efi / 61” deck .. homeowner use mowing 4 acres in Fl. Panhandle ! Started out shopping Maverick HD but moved up to Rebel !
100% correct. They are great mowers and I think the prices will be up there with scag if we aren’t careful. Just because I think they are just as good. Once people start catching on I think they will raise their prices sadly.
Yea mine does to. I just tested that the other day. It’s a little confusing considering if I fill the one side up it says full but it’s technically not.
@@RogersLawnCare yeah I was confused when I filled it up myself and it did that but it’s strange that this lawnmower holds just the same amount of gas that my wife’s Toyota Prius holds
Finally a dude talking about the residual effects of rain and Mud on our machines 😎😎

Will the deck open all the way if you reverse the deck adjustment pedal so it points out?
Yea I’m pretty sure it will. I’ve seen some people add an extension as well on it.
