Great mods! Love the cable chute idea! I had the ‘19, 1st yr, Rogue & absolutely LOVED the mower. I had the all the teething pains w/it, I swear it was built on a Friday 13th @ 5pm! I had a great dealer, Cox Implement, they really treated me right. I did trade it for a low hr Ferris. Bad Boy didn’t offer the Vanguard on the ‘23 model, so I tried a Wright Oct ‘23. I wished I’d of just waited on the Rogue? Such a good ride & better machine, in my usage on my various customers terrains. Great vid btw!
@@Boudreaux911 Yes sir they share the same wheel base length and width.... I believe if I'm not mistaken the 54" is almost perfectly flush with the outside diameter of the drive wheels.
I just bought a new Rogue w a 72" deck w the 37 hp vanguard, ordered the rear tray & oil coolers, would love to have more info on the size & type of hoses that you used to connect the new coolers, thanks in advance!
The cooler you installed, where did you get it from? I like the facts that giving extra cooling help with the long term jeopardy for the drive pumps. And thanks for the feed backs.
Nice work. I "only" have the 60" Maverick and 2.5 acres to deal with. By the time the engine warms up, I'm about finished and sad my time on it is over for another week or month, depending on drought conditions. I bought it a little over a month ago, and I think I need to adjust the transmission rods to sync the speed. Going from a Husqvarna 48" tractor to this thing has been night and day. Speaking of, I may add lights before the sun starts going down earlier.
Same exact mower year and all. Even got the back rack on it. The only issue so far at 150.3 hr mark - the belt tensioner 5/8” grade 8 bolt for the spring tensioner/idler pulley for the drive pumps sheared off at the engine plate - flush with the under side of the engine mounting plate. Not a hard fix but it of course broke at the end of my lane along side of my 40 acre field which is a half mile deep. Had to load up my truck and drag the floor jack out there and some 2x12’s to place the jack on and of course it was 90 degrees out with 90% humidity…. Yeah pure joy!
I'm really happy with the one I have. I originally was going to buy a super z Hustler hyperdrive. But the ride quality is what won me over on purchasing a bad boy rogue. I've had two hustlers in my career. And they literally cut the same.
@@jimmathieu4194 All you have to do is purchase the revolt cute system. It'll work with the revolt 36-in to 60 in. And it works just fine on a rogue 72. If you have a 61-in deck it works even better.
I just bought a Badboy Rogue w/72 inch cut,EFI Kawasaki motor. I’ve heard issues of very loud muffler exhaust. Is there an after market pipe boot to extend through the hole and 45* angle out on both side? Would a blue color thread lock work for the rear wheel hub issues? What is the real purpose of the mower discharge flapper?
Regarding your question about the loud exhaust. Let's just say I've had louder! The pipe tips are 1"1/2 flange OD. And they do make multiple versions that will slip over that. Loctite would be a great for keeping the factory nuts that are on it. But just buy a set of lock nuts with a nylon embedded in them. And that'll work just fine for you. The purpose of the cute blocker that is being able to control it gives you the ability to drive anywhere around your property without worrying about the side discharge blowing all over everything. If you do a lot of landscaping for customers it's definitely a necessity.
Two things you can do about that rear plate. One of the easiest way to do it is to go to your dealer. Two you can go online find the part number order it yourself. The plate is basically there just for extra protection for the big Kohler command engine. As far as your question about the oil coolers being full. The system will prime itself and stay full. as far as air pockets go. When I first started the system it had no problem bleeding all the air out. You can open up the reserve caps and see all the air bubbling through the system. It didn't take but a couple minutes. I had to add fluid three times before everything settled.
@@nelssenhamren2273 Thank I have one more question Would it be possible to send me a good picture or two showing how the cooler line are hooked up? I would really like to run some coolers on my Rogue.
Thanks for the review. Its sounding like bad boy may not be the same quality as some of your other big names. I guess that's why the price seems to be lower.
The manufacturers I've used in the past have all been outstanding. Test of time always tells where the pros and cons are in the build quality of any manufacturer. I've never owned a piece of equipment in any category operate without any problems. I don't criticize bad boy for their shortcuts. Most of the machines I have purchased I've always modified them in some way. This type of outlaw series will have its ups and downs. But the concept I love.
Nice clean job on updates....Ill do the same when I pick my new one up
Received my 2024 61” Rogue w/Kawasaki FX1000V EFI a week ago. Mowed once already. (5 acres) Thing is a BEAST!
How long does it take you to mow 5 acres?

I’m looking at getting a 54 inch Rouge in early Spring. Do you know if it’s same wheel base as a 61 and 72? Thanks for sharing content. 👍

There's multiple options on Amazon. Just make sure you get the ones with the 3/8 input.
Hey, you mind help me with more information on this cooler? I’m not doing to good finding this cooler on Amazon. Thanks

Thank You! That custom chute you made is awesome! Looking to do something like that myself.
I'm here trying to help. A lot of people are relying on videos nowadays to expand their knowledge. And to see people's ideas.
I like the cooler system. Vacuum is measured in inches not pounds so 18” of vacuum is a lot? Can you confirm those numbers?

Did the basket help the mower seem any quieter while you are own it? Block some of the sound?
@handsydirector4862
If it did honestly, I can't tell you it made a difference or not.
It's pronounced "shoot", not cute! Other than that, great video. Good info, like the upgrades!
All the customs mods are so cool!
I have a 23 ROGUE and I absolutely love it !!!?
Did the revolt advance chute system work on the 72” deck or did you have to purchase a revolt control lever and a rogue grass flap kit?

Do the oil coolers stay full and was it hard to get all of the air out of them?
