I use 20-50 kawasaki oil for the engines and 15-50 Mobil 1 for the hydraulics. Walmart has 5 quart Mobil 1 for $28 and some change. Works great, and that's what my dealer told me to use. I'm thinking about a stand on for my next mower, but I've never used one either. The people that use them love them. Praying for your leg and hip brother. God is good!

I've been using it in a cheetah with the 37hp vanguard this season and will likely use it in my v ride after I use up the rest of the Kawaski oil. I used AMSOIL small engine oil last season in the vanguard but sent off a voa of a little I had left over, and it only had around 700-800 ppm of zinc, but they claim on the website it has a heavy dose in it. It worked fine but I felt mislead /disappointed on them marketing it high zinc when it clearly is not.

Im looking to buy a revolt this year. Ive been using the same 61’Spartan 27 hp kawi zero turn, it’s got over 400 hours since 2019. Looking to get a revolt as my market has shifted from more rural properties to gated city lots.

@@DOCREAL1118 spartan and bad boy are basically the same. The story I was given was 2 brothers created badboy and one split and made spartan. I believe both factories are within a mile. It’s got 460 hours and no issues but a spindle and key pad to start it.

A neighbor 0.25 mile from our home lost their house to a direct lightening strike in the early hours of Memorial Day from the severe thunderstorm that passed. It’s a total loss. I’ll never look at a severe thunderstorm warning the same again. Their house was beautiful 2 story and the owner had a great striped yard. So sad.
Thanks for the kind words. 15 firetrucks from all neighboring counties responded all night long well past 4am while it was still pouring. Because it was over Memorial Day no one nearby has reached out to help. So so sad.

@DOCREAL1118 yes it does have a zddp additives in it but it also has moly and the two make a great anti wear additive I usually buy a 3 pack of 5 quart jugs for around 77 bucks so 15 quarts at a time but you can find a 5 quart jug sometimes for 25 or 26 dollars give it a try it's good stuff
